Thank you for hosting this geocaching event! The date of the event has passed. We automatically archive events after 30 days (60 days for Mega- and Giga-Events). Attendees can still log archived events, log trackables, and share their experiences.
I do try to attend events when I can and thankfully there were many people still around as I arrived just before event finish time.
Thanks heaps to The_Tritonz for hosting!

What a busy time of the year, running late doing last years tax still not finished. Working on a new puzzle for the Parkville Mega finally finished.
Time to log this fine event held close to the Ant Nest but arrived late as I had an appointment with a tradie to do some more work to make the Ant Nest more livable and less maintenance for the ageing Bushfire.
Great turn out and with lots of cachers from all over the state which was terrific to see.
Thanks to the Tritonz for holding this event. Well done.

Strolled the well-trodden path round a very busy Barwon to this event which was a great chance to catch up with a number of people. Whilst The Pacman may have claimed first to arrive, I can claim last to leave!
Thanks to The_Tritonz for another fun event [:-)]

As I'd started off being 3 months behind in my logging I am desperately trying to catch up and am mass logging to do so.
Some silly person decided that spending the whole day in the Corolla with Rex and dalerious while travelling to Geelong and then Ballarat in order to attend 2 events just might be a good thing to do [^] It was! [^] Tiring but fun! [^][)][)]
So 2 events attended, 1 DNF and 17 fun finds for the day made for a great day [^]
Even breaking the car key and then having to use pliers to grip and turn it while holding the transponder close to the ignition and then having a flat tyre and having no jack [:(!] could dampen the day
Finally getting to find Subterranean Letterbox was a huge bonus and Rex loved running through the amazing old drain [^]
Made it! OK maybe we were just a tad later than expected however when there are so many caches all around to be found, it's so damned hard to stop finding them
Had lots of fun with lots of lovely people and the smiles and hugs made the journey down very worthwhile [:X]
My huge thanks to everyone for their patience with both Rex and I as we get used to being in public together. It's been a looong time since I've had a pup and this was also Rex' first geocaching event so we have a big journey ahead of us until we both know how to behave in public

The weather was perfect , the location picturesque and the company was great, what more could you ask for? So many teams gathered around the shelter chatting , trading pathtags and a lucky few even won a prize. We also had a couple of well behaved geodogs join us as well who were very attentive as they looked for pats.
Only 9 more months to go to Parkville...woohoo!

Trekked down to the Geelong area for this event. While down here I caught up with friends out on the Bellarine. The event only added to the excitement of the upcoming Parkville Event. Thanks to the Tritonz for looking after us.

Of course Mary & David were there. The parkrunners had gone, but but there were still plenty of bikers, joggersand doggers about. A perfect morning, and we were glad of some shade under the gazebo. Congratulations to the prize winners. Parkville is getting closer as the days fly by. Our thanks to GeocachingVictoria.

Traveled down to Geelong with sharkiefan, with all the caching we were doing on the way down we didn't know if we were going to make it to the event in time. Thankfully we did make it before 12 so we were able to sign the log, and catch up with those who had stayed back longer.

Today I headed off on another road trip, this time to Geelong and then on to Ballarat to attend a couple of events but there are also other caches to be found in these areas.
Will this is one of the said events, my second of the Parkville lead up events which had a reasonable attendance.

Great to see so many locals out this morning as well as some that have traveled form all over the state. It was fantastic to catch up with some friendly faces including meeting a few new one and matching some faces to user names seen in logs.

TFTE GV another fine gathering in well planned weather.

A very well-attended event with a massive turnout in Geelong, and altogether a great group with the same geocaching ideals. As usual we can chat for hours... until the 30-something degree heat started making its presence felt, that is.
Great choice of GZ too, conveniently close to where I had just finished parkrun. So I managed to be an hour early and thus it was a record of sorts as it's the first time I was first to get to an event. Maybe that makes me FTF - first to find the GZ location anyway .
Looking forward to the Parkville Mega.

I didn't stay too long. Beck and I had to get onto the river before the predicted strong northerlies picked up.
