Alas, time is getting away from me and I won't be able to replace this cache this year. Thank you to all who had fun with it.
Couldn't find it. Will assess whether to remake a cache or archive and do another spot nearby.
We had to time this one as the cafe was so busy at the time we got to it. It made it impossible to even look so once we found out what time they were closing. We headed back, after a short while the cache was in hand signed and replaced tftc.
Good thing we read the description or we would of been looking for hours. Surprised I found this 17/17 found so far yayyy TFTC
Stopped off at the cafe and it was great! Good milkshake with wafers. And the food came so quickly now ready for more geocaching!!
TFTC tassieexpat. Had a coffee at the cafe while Noelle04 rummaged around for the cache. Found second time round. Jimmytherat with Noelle04
Found with Jimmytherat. Thanks tassieexpat this one gets a fav for the camo & placement. Took longer than expected, but went back to the description & the penny dropped.
Will be back soon to nab the rest.

*Found on the 1 Jan 2021 @ 1:16 pm.*
*Cache find # 11242.*
Took longer to get the log out of the cache than it did to find the cache in the first place and finding it did also take a while you just need to look in the right spot.
Today I headed down to the Bass Coast to attend a celebrations event at Bass but before making my way there, I decided to have a look at this trail between Coronet Bay and Corinella.
My choice of transport was my bike and it was certainly a good choice.
**Thanks to tassieexpat for placing this cache.**

The weather was looking good , with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I headed to Corinella via the Gurdies armed with My mask and Sanitizer, I had a great day exploring the region. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches I found today. This could have taken some time, thankfullly I got lucky. I was glad the Cafe was not open.
Thanks tassieexpat for the cache.
Thanks tassieexpat for the cache.
Had to come back today for maintenance walk as nearby cafe busy. All good with cache. Could next finder please put the log sheet into the top of the bison to make it easier for future finders. Cheers
What a great theme here and a very nice series of caches in a hidden gem of a walking path. We rode our bikes around here and were surprised at how busy it was.
Thanks for the fun here today tassieexpat.
This took 2 attempt's - one going and one coming back. Very clever.

After my FTF attempt was aborted because it got found while I was on route, I found myself in this area with a spare 2 hours. I hadn't downloaded or planned anything, but I remembered I had a few caches along here unfound.
Well this one could have take awhile, but I saw something that needed my attention. Glad the place in currently not in use, as I didn't have to worry about people from that direction.
Last find of the day at 10.15 am, now to enjoy the nice walk back to the car.
Thanks for the cache Tassie Expat

We enjoyed the walk along the track, a tad windy, enjoyed the views and the variety of hides and to a place we have not visited before..
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks tassieexpat for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

While camped in Grantville with a group of friends I made the time to do some touring aroundo the district and collect a few caches as I went. This one had defeated me last time and I could probably chosen a time other than the luncheon rush but I did indeed find it this time It come with a favourite point TFTC tassieexpat
Suscoe detoured around to this spot in our car.
A quick find while admiring the nearby building.
We just can't get over the on going urban grow down this way with new estates popping up in so many places.
Thanks to tassieexpats for this hide.

Out to find a few caches on the first day of the New Year. My main target was a cache placed in March 2001 and once I had found that I grabbed a few others in the same area. Not as hot as some recent days so it was very pleasant to be out and about caching. I headed to an event in Bass and then on to here for my last stint of caching for the day. The nearby restaurant was closed for the holidays so I was able to park nearby and walk to here. Plenty of options here so I was glad to spot it pretty quickly. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series along here tassieexpat.
Oh so many places to look. Iusually use a stick to help with the search. Oh, what is this string doing here? Hmm. Sometimes caches just jump out at you. TFTC tassieexpat.

Find 7 of 7 for the day and #2189 in total.
Found by Spice! (Echo 2 - Spice 5)
With the restaurant in full swing and two pups in tow we decided to crack the hint early before we drew too much attention.
("\(0o0)/") Thanks tassieexpat for the caching fun!

Lovely tree here next to the homestead which seems to be a cafe or something like that now. The fence mentioned in the description is no longer there though. TFTC tassieexpat
A relatively simple find after ogling the beautiful tree (wouldn't he just be awesome to climb up with a good book and while your day away?)

Our time on the track was "critter free" - no mozzies, snakes or jumping jacks, the wind took care of that and blew everything away! We loved the variety of hides, such as this.
What an incredible tree, it almost rivals Andy Griffiths 39 Story Treehouse!
Thanks to 'tassieexpat' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

22/01/2019 - 9.17am -- No. 1014 - 1st of 2 finds for the day - with dgfb33 & Geogran1937. Headed out early before the day warmed up to the Corinella area to check on a previous DNF that the pair had the previous day & pick up the some remaining cache/caches. We parked at the nearest parking area to the dnf & headed off for with dgfb in his power-chair & Geogran & I walking. We passed or were past by only a few muggles which was very handy. I checked where I expected the dnf to be & confirmed that it must have 'flown away'.
Onward we walked to this cache, passed the beep-beep-beep-beep of the subdivision construction to where we needed to be. After a shortish search the sneaky hide was found. It's a very impressive tree! Found, signed log & returned as found. I was beginning to flag after adding the 1.3km walk to the previous evenings 3km walk/uphill trek & a shortage of sleep so was happy to return to the car. Thanks for the cache & I managed to find the bit that had fallen off my camera between the car & the stairs to the beach, phew!

My phone wasn’t playing fair here jumping randomly over 30m and with a stream of muggles at this time I will leave this one. Loved the tree Thanks tassieexpat
We weren’t expecting to find anything of historic significance along this walk, but were pleasantly surprised by the age of these trees. What an amazing tree and thank goodness they have not totally destroyed the natural beauty of the area. Thanks for another great cache and showing us this lovely walking trail.
Finally got some spare time to get on the bike and grab a couple of caches.
Thanks tassieexpat FTC. House's are taking over.

Found it! We admired the tree and farmhouse earlier in the day and felt disappointed the farmland was being filled with soulless Mc Mansions. Anyway TFTC SL and the history about the place.
A tricky hide but i felt the hit and logs gave a clue to where to look and indeed there it was

Muggled out of this one on the way out but took shelter from the rain on the way back
What a fabulous tree. Provided protection from the rain and protection from the construction workers whilst I sought out the cache which was eventually found
This was the last find for the day and completion of the series
Many thanx to tassieexpat especially for the mystery cache for which a fav point was added

Almost gave up as co-ords were jumping all over the place.
But we persisted and geohubby found it.

As we approached this one we could see that this area is now a construction site. A chat to the builder and he is engaged to bring this history back to life. It is to be made into a Resturant . He said the building was 98 years old and had a lot of termite damage. Fortunately the cache is not in the construction zone.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Thanks Tassie for this series. Long time since we cached so this easy stroll on a perfect morning was just what the doctor ordered. All the caches we found were in good order and properly hidden.
A quick find here and some great views.
Love this part of the world.
Thanks

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

We drove our Motorhome down here yesterday to test some alterations to it and as we had our bikes with us thought we would ride this trail and find some Caches. Quickly found by Mrs G. Thanks tassieexpat.
We got to this point of the track and junior was making noises of being too hot and tired to go on so did a quick search with no luck. Lots of workers on the other side of the fence too so we gave up to go for a swim.
Came to Coronet Bay/Corinella for caching day. Lovely weather to visit the towns and beaches. Beautiful view of the cliffs. Found it. Good hide. Thanks tassieexpact for the cache.
Gotta love fig trees, they are awesome. Hide was difficult but found, it I did. Feeling like I have my caching mojo back again with no DNFs for this series yet. I enjoyed this one and FP awarded. TFTC
This is our last one for today as we have to get back to Pakenham for a little boys doctors appointment. Both Geokids have had enough riding for the day.
Wow what an impressive tree, wonder how old it is? The estate is beautiful too, shame about the graffiti. Great camp, very clever.
Finally I’ve got a chance to start with this series by my great friend Tassieexpat. I always appreciate her caches which are well researched and carefully placed. This was no exception. It gives me a chance to rediscover this wonderful walk and get off the Island. Interesting spot bringing the cachers’s attention to the old house and this magnificent old tree. GZ on my device brought me to 2-3Months from where I found the cache. The I employed geosense and found the cache at first inspection. Unfortunately the log container fell out as I was retrieving but it was easily found. I made sure it was securely attached when I returned it to its home.. TFTC
Meant to attach this photo of the house in its present condition. Let’s hope it improves with time.
Found at 1:01 PM GAFF1..
Went straight past GZ and then had to come back. A nice little tricky hide. Wonder what is going to happen to this house. I see that another old house down the road is being renovated.
Thanks tassieexpat.

We all had fond memories of climbing in trees like these many years ago.
