Logs
My first solo caching trip. A long one down the entire length of the Sturt Highway. TFTC
Spending a few days in Renmark to start some of the trails around this area, picking up some other caches as well. Quick find. TFTC
Found while spending a few days near Renmark, hoping to knock off a few of the Wandering Hero and On Your Bike Series while we are here. TFTC, Its great to have so many caches to be able to find
Back exploring the Riverland and its always good to turn a blue face into a smiley Tftc
I guess 'above shoulder height' is very much relative to height haha. Unless it's been moved from its original spot. But we found it nonetheless.
Quick find here.Heading from Hay to Port Augusta today. Stopped here to resupply on fruit and veggies Rabbitto, I found River Memories #17 - Rivergrowers today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Travelling from Renmark to Mildura today and caching along the highway and roads. Found the cache and signed the log. TFTC
Today saw us firstly finding a few caches around Renmark before we headed east to Mildura - our next port of call as we make our way from Adelaide to Canberra. Also collected most of the caches along the Sturt Highway. Thanks to the COs for the placement of the caches - it is much appreciated.
After a week of caching around Adelaide incorporating The Great Leap Forward event, HansandLinda, MeandDe and I are working our way towards Canberra for the Easter Capital GeoBash Mega. At Paringa for a couple of days of rest and maintenance. Whilst the rest of the crew are moving on today, my GeoCruiser is booked in for minor maintenance at the local Renmark auto electrician, so its a great opportunity for me to clean up the remaining caches around town by bike. The log was full and has been replaced with new. Photos of the old log attached for the COs reference. Another great day for caching. TFTC Rabbitto
Quite the army of ants guarding this one.Thanking you for the Traditional Cache that you placed Rabbitto
Continuing on with my South Australian caching tour and the mad collection of caches in the state. I am again part of the BOLD 7 team doing the mad assault on as many caches as we can. We tested out the MG yesterday and dirtied her up, she handled it well. Today it is to finish off the mayhem of the On your bike series and the few in the area as we pass. It may be a late night back as the plan is to also grab a cache or two on the way to Remark before heading back home. There is so much to do and in such close proximity, I am going to have to come back again. Just need to make sure we stop for food and fuel, must have happy campers for the travels. Am loving the area and the countryside, will have to come back at a different time and experience this state. Along the way we grabbed a few oldies, caches yes and a few that were just there for the fun, oh and the occasional multi, lol. Thanks for setting up these caches and maintaining them. All caches were signed as BOLD 7 and replaced as found. The generic log signing is to save log replacements.
BOLD7 spent the day galivanting around collecting many a cache and having a blast! Cheers to all the COs for fab caches.
Out and about collecting more smilies. Signed with Leap mega team nickname BOLD7. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.
Pit stop for dinner provisions as the BOLD07 can't coordinate their watches with the local time / daylight saving. Grabbed this trad cause it was close by. Part of the BOLD07 experiment, infesting South Aust with $Qld. Thanks Rabbitto for keeping this cache active.
GC7GGY3 River Memories #17 - RivergrowersA group of us are down from Darwin and Brisbane in preparation of the leap year event.Today was day 2 of hitting the bike series and heading east. To save space in the logs signed as the BOLD7. Was meant to be BDLD7 but something got lost in translation.Ran across to get this while a few where in Woolies. TFTC Rabbitto
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday.
Caravan trip to the Riverland. Day 9, Berri to Renmark and return.Searched both trees, then read the hint. Still couldn't see it until we cleared the mushrooms that were growing on it!TFTC
A quick find with the aid of accurate coordinates and the hint. Trying out a new GPS and pleased to report it works perfectly, we just need to learn how to drive it properly. TFTC
12311. Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1330. Stopped by for this cache to add to our 3 states in a day challenge. Had lunch at the Renmark Hotel and now headed to Berri. SL Tnx Rabboto
With Mrs one eyed we finally found the one well hidden with thanks another warm sunny day in Renmark cheers from one-eyed
On arrival in Renmark, we noticed that a cache that we had DNFd during a previous visit had been found recently. So we went for another look. This time accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Rabbitto for the cache.
Caching in the area we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Caches and contents were very good.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

This long weekend, I and J plus the little one visited riverland. We spent two and a half days, visited Nuriootpa, Barmera, Berri, Loxton, Renmark, SA/VIC border, Waikerie, Morgan, and nearby towns. On the trip, we found 54 caches on the way, including Traditional Cache, Puzzle Cache, Multi Cache, Wherigo Cache, Letterbox Hybrid Cache, and Lab Adventure caches.
This was the 36th find for the trip. This cache is very close to the accommodation we booked in Renmark..
Walked there, and found the cache easily.
Signed the log, and placed it back.
Thanks for the cache, Rabbitto.

#16377 - 12:48:00 PM; Grabbed this cache while on a short stop in Renmark enroute to the Fleurieu Peninsula for a few days break. Nice quick find and sign once I crossed the road and made it to GZ. TFTC Rabbitto
Our first day in Renmark with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies.
We hit the deadly treadlies (doggies in the trailer and sometimes running along side) for a morning ride.
Weather turned to crap in the afternoon, but it was nice just sitting around.
We did wonder why you would place a small cache in the middle of the road!
Interesting description that of course we didn't read until we were writing our logs.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19720. Day 3 of our holiday and here we are in Renmark for Day 1 of caching. Robmc, the geo-doggies and I headed off by bikes and trailer to round up some caches on the other side of the main road from the caravan parks. Mixed success as the water is so high and many roads were closed (eventually). It was great riding though.
Then into town for the AdLab and only a few caches, giving us time to ride back before the lunch-time rain set in.
Last one in town for now. We wondered at the significance of this hide, but of course having now read the cache paqe, we understand. Fancy that, the train line was through here. Always sad to see things disappear that have been such important parts of a town's development and in this instance I mean the Rivergrowers.
Thanks Rabbitto

My last day of my 5 day Geocaching long weekend away. This would be Find Number 7 of 21 for the day.
I didn't have a lot of time on my way past when I was on my way to Mildura but made sure I stopped on my way back.

Away for the weekend for some R & G..(Rest & Geocaching!). We are camped in Renmark to try and clear out the town and just do a bit of sight seeing. Today we headed out reasonably early...well okay..9.30ish... to tackle the majority of caches in and around the town. A quick find at GZ! TFTC
Another cache found with richlink as part of our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
This is our last day in the area, so a very low key day today. Our thanks to all who have placed and maintained caches for our enjoyment.

Found it quickly enough, retrieving signing and returning amid traffic was the problem. Drivers must've thought us weird gazing so intently up the tree. Tftc
A quick find with frmen1. One played lookout for traffic and the other did the retrieve. TFTC
Nice to get a grab right in the middle of the street. This place is so lush. Nice.
On a road trip from Perth to Canberra with a few side trips for LGAs. TFTC

Day 3 of a few days in Renmark checking out the sights and collecting as many hides as I can with a totally uninterested other half.
Most caches were easily found, others not so and a few had gone AWOL. A few needed some maintenance by the owners. Those have had NM logs placed on them.
Thank you for the cache Rabbitto, found 7/04/2022, 11:38:32 AM

Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks Rabbitto (F=13709 H=82) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

Spent the day having a bit of a look around and grabbing some caches as we go. A bit of maintenance done here on behalf of the CO. Thanks for the cache.
We were staying in Berri to recuperate after completing The On Your Bike series we planned on a couple of days of easy caching around the Berri-Renmark area.
We headed off today with GeoTurle37 and micaparamedic with no plan but to pick up caches as they came onto the map.
Last time that we searched for this cache we had a dnf but this time we were quite confident that we would make the find as we had a replacement container form the CO and good instructions on where it had to go. We replaced the cache and headed back to the car and then realised that we hadn't added our name to the log so headed back and did the deed and took off for a second time.
Many thank Rabbitto , it's great to get this one off the list.

Found by Mary and David at 16:30. D had just found the cache in its correct spot, when M found a second container down below. Checked with the CO, who confirmed our find, and then removed the second one. Thanks for sharing your memories. Love family stories. Gets a FP.. Our thanks to Rabbitto
Replaced today. Thanks to Team Crackers who kindly took the replacement cache over to Renmark and put it into place
There's been a few modifications to the flora here , so scratched around at ground level and were surprised to find the log sheet and cache lid [8].
TNLNSL.
Put them together and hid them under some bark, but it's far from waterproof .
Thanks Rabbitto.

I signed a blank log, but see that this replacement cache was recorded as a find 2 days ago. I am here on family business that is quite demanding, but had the chance to combine necessary shopping with the first find for the trip. Thanks for the hide and the recent maintenance, also the opportunity to have my mind take off the above family business for a few minutes.
