Found while camping at a Hip camp at Gurra Gurra for the weekend. Found yesterday 9/11/24
Found by The Empire + HAfter a brief stroll along the picturesque waterfront, we were drawn to St Agnes Distillery for some whisky tastings. The scenic views of the Murray River, with its shimmering surface and tranquil atmosphere, set the perfect backdrop for our adventure. The decision to explore the distillery came naturally as we sought to experience the local flavors of Renmark.At St Agnes, we were eager to delve into the rich history and craftsmanship behind their renowned spirits. The combination of a serene walk along the river and the anticipation of sampling expertly crafted whiskies made for an enjoyable afternoon, perfectly blending nature and culture in one memorable outing. Staying in Renmark for a short holiday, caching around where we travel. After a big caching day yesterday, it was nice to tour around a few towns and pick ups one caches along the way. 25 were found today, this cache was one of them.

Away for the weekend for some R & G..(Rest & Geocaching!). We are camped in Renmark to try and clear out the town and just do a bit of sight seeing. After a Lovely Breakfast in town we set out to do a few. A quick find and a bit of history that we were unaware off. We assumed that the Vineyards where ony a recent addition to the Riverland! We are finally able to travel interstate without heaps of loops to jump through. We thought we would take it easy and have a look around South Australia and grab a few more LGA's while we were here.
After do a little bit of tasting at Angove's I stopped here to look for this one on the way back.

Day 2 of a few days in Renmark checking out the sights and collecting as many hides as I can with a totally uninterested other half.
Most caches were easily found, others not so and a few had gone AWOL. A few needed some maintenance by the owners. Those have had NM logs placed on them.

This was a nice quick find under what seemed to be a type of weeping wattle tree. Not sure what it was and neither of us have ever seen one like this. Thanks for the cache.
We were staying in Berri to recuperate after completing The On Your Bike series we planned on a couple of days of easy caching around the Berri-Renmark area.
We headed off today with GeoTurle37 and micaparamedic with no plan but to pick up caches as they came onto the map.
After spending the last few days with the CO of this series we thought it only right to pick up another one in this enjoyable series that we are slowly making our way through.
Heading off to gz we noticed a tree that we thought was an acacia but it was of a weeping variety that none of us had seen before, so that was quite interesting but not the type of vegetation that this cache is dedicated to. Happily the cache was located right where the GPSr was pointing and we added our names to the log.

Around the Riverland for the weekend due to swimming at Renmark. Grabbed this one while hubby working hard at the pool. Easy find. TFTC.
Decided to head to the riverland for a couple of events and Lab caches and while in the area see what else we could find. Teamed up with Mattycat and Sebastbat for a full day of adventures, after attending a wonderful lunch event it was off to see if we could find some more smilies and this was our next on the list, having found a few memories in the past it was time to add a few more memories to the smilie list a quick find for us today

Saturday morning, Parkrun, coffee, caches, great weather. All is good with the world. There was a cache guardian that looks as though he was faithful to the end. I removed a coffee sachet to restore the cache to a legitimate "no foodstuffs" status in accordance with guidelines.
Going through some old notes and found a bunch of caches I'd forgotten to log so catching up. Apologies for the lack of details.

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA. With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
Our team “The Mob” consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers, feathertop and ourselves. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book. All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
After completing all the trails, we had set out to do and a couple more for good measure it was time for this mob to go its separate ways.
It was now time to head home after doing numerous trails while in the area a great caching adventure. We picked up numerous on our way home to break up the journey.

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
With the Turtle done, the PS Series done, the On Ya Bike done, the TdU & TdF done as well as the Riddlers done, our targeted caches has been accomplished. With the teams now split and it was back to FurfacesLL and myself, we had heaps to choose from. Today was cleaning up around Loxton and making our way over to Mildura for the night, before making our way back towards Wagga tomorrow.
A nice quick find here, now onto the next find for the day.

Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 15 of our adventures had us pack up camp for the last time, grab a final few caches in South Australia, then do the long long drive home to Goulburn (996 Kms) crossing 2 borders (without incident). All caches were found quickly and in good order unless otherwise stated. First find of the day. A nice quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, and then headed off to the next one.

Today was a big day with quite a lot of driving and not a lot of caches found but all in all a bit of fun, I started and finished the day in Adelaide going via tailem bend for a bike race at the bend before heading up to berri for an event and finding a few caches around the river land before heading back to Adelaide. Total of 42 finds plus 1 lab cache to finish of a series in the Barossa.

This weekend, I headed to the Murray Riverland around Berri and Renmark primarily to attend the celebration event, but also to join others in some kayaking geocaching adventures. I hadn't visited this region before, and I left really enjoying the picturesque nature of the rivers, the wine-growing areas, and pretty towns. I ended up visiting Kingston on Murray, Barmera, Berri, Lyrup, Renmark, and Paringa. Three other highlights worthy of mentioning was Chambers Creek, Katarapko Island, and the historical SA-NSW surveyed border area.
Today after spending last night in Berri, I met with others to group kayak the *Chambers Creek Canoe Cache* (CCCC) series. We then had time to find a few geocaches around Lake Bonney and climb a few trees outside Berri, before attending the lunch celebration event. Afterward, we detoured via *Katarapko* oldie, before heading south, and group attacking the geocaches group on Katarapko Island. A nice day to be out on the kayak and finding some geocache favourites.
This was a quick find today. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Rabbitto for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found with mogni. After yesterday's 45 degree's we were happier today was cooler. We still got a early start to the day. Just driving around the outskirts of renmark getting all the caches i ran out of time for last trip. quick find.
Myself and mogni came up to the river land to go to MacCabe Corner and find the virtual there plus drive the mail trail in murray sunset national park plus the 4 x 4 track in cooltong national park. The original idea was to go through to mildura but with weather 37, 45 , 37 degrees fore cast we changed plans and stayed in monash instead. Any caches that where found damaged where replaced and any logbooks found full or with 2 or 3 spaces left where replaced.

and then slept in the bush Friday night [^] before arriving at home at 7pm Saturday, having a much needed [xx(] and quick shower and change [^] and then arrived at my FAVOURITE food place, [:X] Asian Central [:X], at the newer Gawler Mill premises at 8pm for an [:X] AWESOME [:X] tea with Marcus. We then bought more for Sunday's meals [^] Even had hugs from the lovely Maria [:X] who is the hostess extraordinaire! [^] If you ever get to SA, and love Asian food, you need to try this place! [^]
Over the trip only 13 caches were found as it was high 40's on Friday [xx(]
, still hot all night even on the bank of the Murray River at the Murrumbidgee junction and then pretty similar temperature for most of Saturday [xx(] so staying in Harry's cool insides was a better option than getting out! [^][^]
Spent heaps of time on bush tracks which I love doing[:X]
I managed to finish the last few caches on the Old Mail Road too, so that made me smile

Suscoe headed out today from Mildura for a trip to Renmark and Berri and back again.
We were in the terrific company of Phetlern.
We covered well over 360 kilometres on this trip and we saw a wide variety of countryside from sand drifts, to cropping land to scrub and beautiful green orchards and grape vines.
We saw quite a few different varieties of birds and saw the magnificent Murray River from different perspectives.
It was a much cooler day today with clouds breaking up the sunshine from time to time.
Thanks to Rabbitto for creating this cache for us to find and enjoy the wander around the streets of this town.

Quick easy find while on a geo weekend with the family. Smallest geokid has just passed out in the back seat so might be just cruising around for a bit now until he wakes. TFTC
Tried some wines at a nearby locale and convinced some friends to stop for the geocache. Easy find, thanks for the cache!
