Thanks earthlight for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #10864 on 15/11/2024 at 5:06PMA quick trip away. Found on our travels around parts of the Yorke
Today was doing the coastal tour to Troubridge Point Lighthouse, before making the long trip home. Picked up caches regularly, as well as finishing the Investigator Straight Shipwreck Trail adventure lab. Very enjoyable day with some fantastic views. TFTC
The rain is coming down but we are happy we have managed a fewForecast says rain all day on the Peninsula. We had decided to finish the Watertower AL today. So we braved the wet , packed the car and ventured on.
Had come over to the Yorke Peninsula for a nite run after a FTF and after that was done found some more to add to the smilie count. Started with 8 trads around Stansbury then headed further a field after a multi and 3 puzzles elsewhere on the peninsula before heading home after a satisfying nights caching. Pity about that one DNF This was that one DNF. Spent quite a while looking but eventually decided to move on. Subsequent log reading indicates I may have been concentrating in the wrong area. Thanks to earthlight for the hunt.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Cant wait!!****
Found it TFTC Found in good. After checking out the dead tree should have been looking at the greenery lol
This weekend is a mental health/selfish/me time weekend.
Headed to YP to do as I please which of course meant geocaching.
My plan was to ‘finish’ fishing . It and the geoart will be almost finished bar avenging some prior dnfs.
Was also keen to find some multis and visit a few places I haven’t been to before.
Mission accomplished in my happy place for the day. Only 2 dnfs. Sadly the Pies lost their Prelim final but we love to fight another day. Stansbury was a revelation to me the pub was brilliant.
All up around 130 found for the day.
Mojo off here just couldn’t see it and decided to keep moving on TFTH Earthlight

Thanks for the cache.
The three of us were spending some time on Yorke Peninsula, and today Mr Tardis went out for a caching run south of Port Vincent.
Two stumpy lizards crossed the road in front of me at GZ. Fortunately I didn't see any legless reptiles here.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache earthlight.

This weekend, I headed to the Yorke Peninsula. The goal was to visit Innes National Park for the Saturday to find a few of the oldie geocaches, but also to enjoy a different vicinity for geocaching. I used Edithburgh to base myself for the weekend's activities. On the drive to/from Edithburgh, I visited Ardrossan, Port Vincent, Wool Bay, and Coobowie, and also visited as far south as Sultana Point and Troubridge Point.
Today, I took the long route home back to Adelaide from Edithburgh, but did multiple detours along the way. I initially headed south to Sultana Point, followed by Troubridge Point; Two areas that I hadn't visited in all of my historical Coobowie Yorke Peninsula trips. I then drove north following the coastal route, stopping off in Coobowie, Wool Bay, and Port Vincent. A highlight was visiting the white clay mine just north of Stansbury, and it was a nice walk along the beach to get to.
I have taken this road many times before whilst scuba diving Kleins Point. I decided to just drive to this location, before turning around and continuing my drive back home. I managed to find the cache reasonably quickly, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@earthlight](http://coord.info/PR39X1P) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Out on a girls caching weekend with hevwalker.
It was our last caching day & we were caching our way back to Adelaide.
It's been a while since visiting the YP & I hadn't got around to starting this series.
A quick search & find, thanks for the cache earthlight.

A quick pull over here today. The cache was easily found and is all in good order
A quick overnight trip to the Yorkes for 1.5 days of solid caching. I did a bit of the geoart by myself before meeting up with Davidwazza for a majority of the day caching around Innes National Park. With an event in the evening in Edithburgh headed over there before going for a nice walk along the water front for the evening. Day 2 I made my way from Edithburgh along the coast line and back home by lunch time. A total of 169 caches for the trip.
Thanks for the cache

Today was another Wednesday wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle group. [^] We headed over to Yorke peninsular to find some caches including some solved puzzles, some fishy tales and anything else we happened to come across.
Another quick find on another in the series and so far all we have had to do is walk from the car to the cache and back again.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks earthlight for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

We have a small team travelling to The Yorke Peninsula from Canberra. It was decided by the group before we left that our team name would be DTY, although I act like the boss, I rarely am and so the initials actually stand for - dty73, Tankengine & Youban.
Admittedly we came for the power trails to make up some of our statistics, but we also wanted to check out some of the traditionals as well. This was obviously one of those we wanted to pick up.
Interesting to see this walking track out here, at first appearance in the middle of nowhere. But it looks pretty good. Tftc earthlight!!!
Nothing exciting. Black container. Right right right

Our last day in Edithburgh, but we have been waiting for the promised sunny day of light wind so we can head north along the coast. Some great scenery and caching is hopefully in store.
Sorry-the logs are starting to get a bit repetitious but we are having a great time, walking in the sun and the breeze, collecting caches as we go, enjoying the scenery and appreciating the caches. It’s nice that the hides are not too onerous, but just subtle enuf to make us work for a few of them. Others we have found pretty quickly. Life’s always more interesting if things don’t come too easy!
We’re not that fond of micros in the bush, but at least this was a straightforward find

Found as part of My Annual leave SA adventure, I had a great time touring the Yorke Peninsula and other areas of the state. This was My last day on the Gone Fisin trail, I sure was glad to get it finished and go look around a few towns, I was a bit over looking at wheat and canola. Thanks earthlight (F=12163 H=115) for the cache.
Enjoying a 3 night stay with earthlight, while she performs a maintenance run on a host of YP caches. Staying at Coobowie in an amazing location on the foreshore and using this as base camp.
Day 1 we travelled from Adelaide to Coobowie and I grabbed a few smilies along the way

Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks earthlight (F=14267 H=144) for the cache.

We joined forces with alansee, micaparamedic, Phetlern and The Drovers for an assault in this series and after we had finished the Gone Fishin series we settled into exploring this fantastic peninsula using caching as our guide.
This was another series that we hadn't noticed before we arrived but one that we were going to find a few of over the next 24 hours. We talk a walk here from #1 chatting amongst ourselves as we walked along. The cache was again found easily and our names were added to the log.
This was the last W.T.Y. for today but we did get to enjoy many more of these tomorrow

After completing the 'Gone Fishn' series, and still in the good company of Team Crackers, micaparamedic, Alansee & Phetlern, we continued on to find a few more caches.
We did a loop to the eastern side of the peninsula, and back to our accommodation in Port Victoria.
This was one of the caches we found along the way.
Signed with either our group name of 'SNEECKS' or The Drovers.
Many thanks for placing this series caches, earthlight, for us and others to find.

The Yorke Peninsula has always been a drawcard for us, with its iconic stone buildings and historic ruins and now of course - countless caches. In the very fine company of Alansee, Micaparamedic, Team Crackers and The Drovers, it was an awesome blast of fun adding some more smiley tokens to our collection.
Hopefully we will return for more walking, next time.
Thanks for this cache 'earthlight'.

Having a look around Edithburgh whilst camping at Ardrossan, found a few down this way today – thanks once more earthlight.
Staying in Ardrossan for a few day and today we decided to come for a drive down to Edithburgh to find a few new caches and do a bit of exploring while we were down here. [^]
As we had just found the new W.T.Y caches we stopped here on our way back to Ardrossan to find this one. Only have one more of this series to find...until the next lot get published.
Thanks for the cache earthlight.
