I was out with BaildEd visiting some caches in the Akaroa area.
This was the first we found and signed off.
Cheers for the cache.

Cheers for the cache.
Was out on a mission with Tutfy to cache out Akaroa so we made this our first stop with the intention of moving North from here. Thanks for the cache.
No luck here today. It is such a busy spot, especially at this time of year. We suspect it may have been muggled.
What a busy spot! A bus load of tourists were taking pictures while their food was being prepared at the marae, and local kids were running around. Can located easily, then retrieved and replaced when no one looking I hope! TFTC!!
We drove the short distance from our accommodation in Akaroa to this location this afternoon. Quite a number of tourists taking photos close by so stealth was required to make the find and sign the log. TFTC
A popular spot, the car park was full. I suspect it was something to do with the marae though. Looking back to Wainui where I just spent 4 days in the hills of, looking back at this place. Cheers
Container , logbook ... Going next...

There were a lot of People at the Marae but luckily they were out of eyesight for us at GZ
It was quickly found before another car arrived...TFTH

“New Scotland to New Zealand” Greetings from Nova Scotia, Canada. We are travelling through New Zealand for a month and hope to enjoy many caches. Thanks to all cache owners and to this beautiful country.
This one is remaining elusive or gone walk about. No problems we arranged a replacement to keep this one rolling along. Cheers .
Its Saturday - day three - Little River - Akaroa today. Lets go exploring.
Its Waitangi Day - day one of a five day weekend exploring the amazing Canterbury, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack and Jill. Two days Rangiora, a day in Lyttleton and 2 days in Banks Peninsula. I got call from The Seagnoid, hes taking a long weekend. Lets go to the West Coast! Lets Go!! but maybe not the West Coast - rain on the way. So lets go to Canterbury. We leave for Christchurch Tuesday evening after picking up The Seagnoid after work. We make camp for the night at Amberly. Today its off to Rangiora for a cycle trip.

Yup, it's missing. But the hint is nice and obvious, so we dropped in a replacement.
Down to Christchurch with Taybeedragon, Zara and Toby for a five day weekend starting Waitangi Day (which this year fell on a Wednesday. I reckon half the country would have been taking 5 day weekends!). A couple of days in Rangiora. We did two cycle trails there - having two vehicles makes it so easy. One of those cycle trails was fifty caches. Fifty caches in one day on a bicycle! Then a day in Lyttelton and couple of days exploring the back roads around Akaroa. Darn close to two hundred caches in all. Dropped off a lot of path tags along the way, especially if the cache was nice and dry.

TFTC. A quick trip to the Banks Pen for a few caches.
A great blustery spring day - prefect for a caching adventure.
Found the cache lying on the road side, replaced as per the hint.
Thanks thunderboltnz1 for placing this cache.

It's nice to have a cache to find in Onuku, the place where I grew up. We lived in the white house high on the hill behind the Marae. TFTC
Mrs Rincewind is away in Napier for a few days and I had to get Rincewind Jr back to Wainui by 9am. With the rest of the day free what was I to do? Go caching of course! This was one of 37 finds for the day (& a couple of DNFs )
Finding caches is easy when they're just lying on the ground in the open. I signed the log and wedged it in place (down low as up high wouldn't hold it). I'm not sure exactly where it should be, but the hint still works.

Last day of 18 with the Camper van. Visited the Maori church then got the caches well. TFTC.
Perfect morning for a wander around this village. Visited the picturesque historic church. Tftc
Which way indeed, but I knew which way to sign the log! Found with JudeE on a beautiful Akaroa afternoon. TFTH and taking us there.
A nice and quick find on a lovely day. Cheers.
It has been a wee while since we have visited the Akaroa side of the peninsula, so we came this way for a walk and a coffee, and some caches.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

Very much agree with the altered hiding place. One step too far and oh dear!!!!!! Thanks for taking us to this historic spot. Spent the next hour reading Gordon Ogilvie's book on the Peninsula. Some very violent times in this place.
It took a wee while to find this cache, but eventually we spotted it at ground level. We returned it to the same position, as it seem insecure at hint level. Great views of the large cruise ship in the harbour from the road around to this cache. TFTC
Several camper vans enjoying a lovely day. More interested in the cruise ship in the harbor than a couple of oldies admiring the stream. TFTC
Out on a Whacky Wednesday Wander with TG and the hope to score a FTF too. We headed up and over the hill and we were wondering if a tourist may have snagged this unlogged cache. We headed over the hill and caught up with the Christmas goss. Nice quick find at GZ. Scored a {FTF} to boot.
Thanks for the cache thunderboltnz1.
