Sigh, another bridge another frown Like a previous DNF'er I was enthusiastic in finding some suspicious bridge parts, but they didn't hide a container and I eventually abandoned my search. Until the next time...
A warm sunny Labour Day geocaching at Western Sydney Parklands. Yikes, we found two old DNFs today but this is our second new DNF. We really searched hard but with no luck. Found some likely pieces of the bridge that were possibly hiding places but no! Will watch and think and come up with a plan for our return. Cheers... Gaztek
Tftc - again second visit today with a fresh pair of eyes. Needs checking as it was extremely hard to extract log due to moisture and rust.
we have realised we are following two other cachers ... not sure how far behind them we are lol seem they loosened a couple of container lids for us
Visited the cache today and its still there. Why does geocaching.com ask for a maintenance check after 3 DNFs, really. Its a very well hidden cache and when 3 newbies couldnt find it, I have to do a maintenance check. Ill lifting the ratings on this cache.Cheers dkmacca
Spent about 10 mins looking for this, but it's getting later in the day and wanna leave myself time for the rest of the caches here. Thanks
This took abit of locating as cords would not settle. Persistence paid off and we located TFTC
Spent way too long searching in the wrong spot. Located on way out, sneaky sneaky, tftc.
Geokid is already turning into a caching master! Thank you for some lockdown fun! We will return with a pen another day! TFTC!
This one took us a while to find. We were initially looking at the wing offset of the bridge. Widening our search area lead to spring something that turned out to be the cache. TFTC!
We did not actually look for this one because when we arrived with ilook4geo the first thing we noticed was a red belly black right at the end of the bridge, It slithered away but we don't know where it went or how many friends it had. So we decided to leave this one for another day. Thanks to dkmacca for a cache we hope to find in the future..
Had a long search to no luck. Found a few great hiding spots (if you are interested?) just not the one I wanted!

Took a quick look but the grass was way to high for my liking, I pulled out of a thorough search.
We thought this could take some time, but EH soon spotted something that looked out of place. But getting getting the log out took longer. Good sneaky hide. TFTC

Out on a family bike ride to celebrate a birthday for one of us and maintain social distancing. Found it with a helpful hint - thank you! Spotted by Geogirl #2, retrieved by Geogirl #1! TFTC!

I need to assess any damage to this cache due to the recent flooding.

TFTC found with friends Twinkletoes72, Monkeymoes, Careerguide. On attempt two, so well done.
came back with intel, TFTC. Found with the geocrew: Monkeymoes, Careerguide and Gusph
TFTC Such an amazing cache . Came once before and didn’t find, but did this time. Found with Careerguide tt72 and Gusph. Gave a fav point
This had me going for ages. A PAF couldn’t remember the hide but gave me better direction and cache was found soon after. TFTC.
After typing in a DNF, we searched one last spot and came up with the find. Still quite difficult to see at first but once you do see it, it definitely looks out of place. Another fantastic hide. TFTC
TFTC. OCW MF428 & Geodog Atlas. After multiple DNF's & going off previous hides we decided to still give it a try. After 15min MF428 logged a DNF to soon shout out "FOUND IT!!!"
Out on a long bike ride. Another bridge cache that eludes us. Spent ages looking but no find for us...
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Tftc. After our success at the six sided bridge, we thought we’d try and change the status of this one from blue to green. After a short search I came up trumps. Log is in need of replacement, we signed over an old faded log.
Took a while to locate this sneaky one! Not what we expected. TFTC!
Cheers,

After visiting the Medieval Fayre with Trodectus, as we were walking home, we decided to go for this one. We had sussed it out when first published but were keeping it for a rainy day cache. We were going to pass it so decided to do it for our daily cache. Arrived GZ and quickly had CIH, log signed (getting fairly full) and replaced. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We'd spent the afternoon at the Medieval Fayre at Nurragingy Reserve and we decided we'd go for this one as we'd be passing close by on our way back. We had visited this one before but we were keeping it for just such a day. We arrived at GZ and soon had CIH - it hadn't taken us very long to find on our first visit. The log is fairly full and will soon need replacing. TFTC.
Out on a cache run around Glendenning/Doonside, Prospect and Seven Hills in order to find some caches with higher FPs for the Cache Carnival currently underway. Parking near Joe McAleer Park we into the Western Sydney Parklands and attempted some of the caches within. Unfortunately today our caching mojo just wasn't working coming away with only one find from six caches.
Access was clear and we started our search finding several likely spots. On checking all of those we came away scratching our heads. A couple of monster wasp nest underneath as well which we were hesitate to go near after of previous encounter this morning. Another frustrating search unrewarded...will have to come back for this one.
The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football, England since 1872, Herr Bert the Photoman, TB Gangaman, The Rock, Purply, teamMerlin's GIFF 2018 Geocoin Companion Tag, Kostka Donalda Entericha, Dino-run green, Travel Kitten Geocoin, Bloodhound

Geobiking day around Western Sydney Parklands. Thanks dkmacca for this amazing series. 18 founds and 4 DNF.

Out caching with Renski. We were determined to find it and we did everything required to make the find. Poured through logs , looked, discussed, thought, read more logs...then looked until it was found.
Surprisingly quick find collected a lot of farmers friends found with jadeyl and our geo babies
OCW Sensible Shoes & Little Shoes. This was our slowest find but it felt good once we found it. TFTC
OCW Sensible Shoes and Shoes Junior. Dad grabbed this cache after a LOT of searching.TFTC
The Shoesx3 found it ....eventually. Team effort - her brains, his braves, their logs. "I need someone to just..."
OCW morty8888 and after completing some caches around The Ponds area we decided to visit some caches in the Western Sydney Parklands owned by the CO. Including three bridge caches - I hate playing troll under a bridge whilst people walk over above.
We searched around here for about fifteen minutes before making the call of shame to a previous finder for a hint and it was then CIH. TFTC and a fav point is awarded.

Back out to complete unfinished business with Oldmorty from 2 days ago. Combined two COs that Im hoping someone has seen together as Blundo Busters and dkmacca seem to have similar minds when it comes to hiding geocaches. Some would say evil, I say clever. They just suck the FPs out of you. And they have spent way too much time as trolls under bridges and want you to spend even more time.
With Oldmorty having some blue DNFs in the Parklands, we decided to turn them upside down. This cache was released after I had visited last year so we both wanted to put this one to bed. Phone had us about 5-10m away from where we eventually spotted the hide after we had some help from previous finder. Still simple but clever. There goes another FP. TFTC

One of a number of finds today whilst walking through the park-lands on a nice winters afternoon. My initial look for this one was fruitless so I moved on to a couple of others before trying this one on my return.
Arriving back at GZ to find BmFreja & erroma also at GZ. Joined forces and after some persistence found the right hide. After all signing the log it was replaced as found. tftc

Time is ticking by and I still need 40+ finds before earning the last of the Hidden Creature souvenirs. Was originally planning to do the Richmond Rd trail but spotted this one and figured it would be a great day for a bike ride.
Oh-oh! Another bridge! Got thoroughly side tracked by reading too much into the cache name. Not very many muggles about but one did pass will I was out of sight. Not quite as sneaky as the Two Sided bridge but happy to have my name in the log after a bit of a search.

Our first day of Geocaching in such a long time!!!
This one was made easier by remembering a similar cache further along this pathway which we had found many years before (2015 from memory).
Still took a few go's due to not exactly remembering what the other one was and being too hung up on trying to remember what it was.
Thanks dkmacca!

Came back for this one after a DNF a few days ago. Dressed more suitably it turned out to be a quicker find than anticipated after reading past logs. Another favourite point awarded for the sneaky hide. Thanks dkmacca for the hide Cheers
Had a quick look but not dressed appropriately for a good search so moved on. I will be back
Cheers

I swear I should take crawling and clear spider webs as my new sport. Found at night but only with guidance from CO. If attempt at night wear A head torch. But this cache back together took me a bit of time.
Shoulda gone with instincts on this one as it copies a similar bridge. Grr at me for not listening.
Tftc
Log just over half full.

One bridge up and one bridge down. After having found the Two Sided Bridge, which we had DNF'd a year and a half ago, we headed for this one. Looked all over (or rather under) the place, and tried to get some help from previous logs, but to no avail. Guess we will be back some time in the future to convert this blueey.
Unfortunately the "hint" given in the description had us overlooking the cache for a while, since that's exactly what the container turned out to be. Either way, thanks for the hide.
Seriously had me beat for ages, found the clearing, setting up the caravan nearby and collecting wood for the campfire, & all to stay overnight.
Thought of demolishing the bridge, just to remove the cache off my groundspeak landscape, but then I reached down to play where’s Wally on google maps. Hang on, aren’t I playing that here?
Had a drink out of the flask I was carrying and I seemed to snap out of my delousional state. Really caught up on my reading of past log skills. Viewed the terrain rating and tried many things, and wasn’t unit the container was a foot from my nose, was when I smelt it. No, not true, I spied the crafty hide, cheers DK, fav given

We’re grabbing some caches before the heat of the day. This is a nice area for a walk. We both went under and came out trumps. Very clever. TFTC
#4475- For a retiree, it's been a very busy few weeks, working casually 3-4 times a week. Today, I needed a break... from work, the Olympics and sitting down. My back is starting to feel a bit better, but now bikerbuddy has done something to his. So when we got to this cache, I did the honours and spotted the obvious straight away. No slipperies here today, unless I was too quick too see them. bikerbuddy managed to get the log out without tools and we were off to the nearby Culvert. Thanks dkmacca.
I suggested to the WaywardWoman that we use a wheelbarrow for this cache. She asked me why. I said it was so she could wheel me in it. My back is killing me. A pinched nerve, I think. So, since she wouldn't allow the wheelbarrow - she told me I would have to carry it, which sounded counterproductive - I made her get under there instead of me, and her spotting technique was magnificent. My grand contribution to this cache was that I was able to extract the log for signing. Thanks
Finally a cooler day and an opportunity to do some caching. I decided it was time to head west from the east to tackle the dkmacca caches in Western Sydney Parklands as I have been told his caches were very clever and unique. I managed to tackle sixteen caches and found seven. Unfortunately the ones I found were bisons and nanos so I am yet to see any of his unique caches.
Another bridge and another dnf. I'm starting to dislike bridge caches. Anyhow thanks and now I think it's time to head home. Cheers dk macca for an interesting day.

Didn't find . Didnt even look.
I let another cacher have full access to GZ, see photo.

Another episode of Good Times with Pete and Ris was recorded here.
Spent an hour an a half under the bridge, not looking for the cache as I found it easy enough after Pete failed. Had myself a little picnic while we were recording my adventures. SL #3465 on streak day #2049 TFTC

Headed west today for my second visit to the Western Sydney Parklands.

Busy, busy, busy.
Finally got away to go some caching - after 4pm. Hoping for at least three finds to up my calendar day finds - and despite a few bridge hides (and a DNF) managed four. Got back to *The Hademobile* after sunset, though.
But another pleasant walk through the Western Sydney Parklands. That's always a relaxing and pleasant experience.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Came in from the recommended park via a repeat DNF at the CO's *The six sided Bridge*.
Why am I inflicting a second consecutive bridge hide on myself? Glutton for punishment, I guess.
Decided to start at the most likely spit given the T Rating, and immediately noticed something - logical spot for a hide.
Checked a few other spots then turned back to the logical spot. And spotted something a short distance away that looked quite suss. Surely not that easy?
Yes it is. CIH!
Well, I have to have some luck on these hides some time? And didn't even need to break out the Geoheadlamp!
Completed signing duties and replaced. Now to continue on to my next target.
