I had around an hour spare this afternoon so I drove over from Coorparoo to look for 2 caches. This was the first and the one I wanted the most, as it would fill a gap in our DT chart.
I managed to find a park on Grey Street, paid my $3 parking fee and raced to where I thought the cache should be. That's when I opened the listing and it appeared that the cache is probably missing, so I kept my feet planted on terra firma. Disappointing, as I don't know when I'll be able to get back next. Hopefully by then the cache will be back where it should be.

14-Jun-18
The cache was clipped by gardeners, just need to buy new one and replace/

13-Jun-18
Having found this one and signed it’s log some months ago, we can confirm we can no longer see it, having come by again tonight. There have been many cachers now who have not claimed a find and I think this one needs to be reviewed.

11-Jun-18
After the event nearby, a small group of us convened at GZ to see if we could find this cache. I was the designated spider monkey, and up I went with the assistance of my friends. Sadly, I wasn’t able to find anything up this tree. Due to the large number of DNFs and reports of pruning, I’ll pop another NM log on this and hope for some action by the CO.

11-Jun-18
I have visited this cache twice recently, the second time with 5 other people and we did not find it. It does look like the cache went when the tree was pruned.

11-Jun-18
Perhaps a reviewer can disable this one till the owner confirms its existence.

09-Jun-18
We spent a fair amount looking over this tree. Suspect there has been some pruning. Sad

09-Jun-18
We attended an event in the city today. We came early to find some caches in the area.

There were about 10+ caching team at gz craning their neck looking for the cache. No one can see it.

Thanks for taking us here T.A.G. Next time perhaps...

As one of the group of ten geocachers searching here today and with the very recent and obvious pruning of this tree it may no longer be here. Will await CO's response to message sent by fellow cacher before attempting this one again.

09-Jun-18
After attending the WWFM event nearby, we came to this cache but could not find it.
A previous finder says that the branch it was attached to has been pruned.
CO will need to visit and assess the hide.

09-Jun-18
We had a good look but doesn’t look like it’s there as a recent branch prune may have included the cache.

Thanks anyway!

09-Jun-18
On my way to attend an Event I met up with some other cachers but we all decided that it was a no go so after the Event a previous finder assures us the the cache is no longer there and it must have gone when all those big branches were pruned off the tree. I'll wait for CO to advise that it is in place before I take Muggle son into Southbank for the climb.

03-Jun-18
Well I tried but will have to return with my little Spidermonkey on a future visit to Queensland. Loads of kids tonight, loads of noise and loads of GPS bouncing.

27-May-18
My dear friend Soph risked life and limb to find this one...worth the risk!

27-May-18
Went at night. Bad idea. Couldn't see anything up there but spiders!

27-May-18
No luck! A stealthy daytime hunt will hopefully yield better results.

26-May-18
Coming up next weekend, would love to have this on our found list !

22-May-18
Is not there

19-May-18
I was on the tree but the cache was not in the tree
Thx for this challenge....

05-May-18
Got to the tree but didn’t think I should climb

04-Apr-18
This would have been a no smiley for me too, would have needed a "Red Bull" to give me Wings Lol !, But don't drink that stuff, Getting too old to climb trees, too many injuries, supporting a knee injury at moment, so am going to have to pass on this one,

01-Apr-18
Maybe the owner would like to check if the cache has survived the recent tree pruning. We had a look at the cache before, couldn't get to it but took a picture. We returned today to have another go but it is not in the place where we spotted it last time.

25-Mar-18
Fresh cuts.... may need to check this one. Couldnt find it..

21-Mar-18
We spotted the cache but, at age 83, didn't think I should climb the tree to get the cache. We didn't see anyone around that could have gotten it for us so just a note to the owner with our tales of woe.

17-Mar-18
Swung past after work as the rain had let up so took the longer walk home. I am no stranger to this sort of action in work clothes and a tie, but the coast was sort of clear when I arrived so I swung into action. I went up in blind faith to start with, but found it quickly in-situ as described. Was spotted by some muggle kids as I came down, but all was returned stealthily.
Thanks for placing this cache, T.A.G. Found in good condition.
Cool *{Overall find #5691}* Cool

15-Mar-18
oops! After passing by here a good few times and being muggled out every time, i got super lucky the other afternoon and with a little more determination than usual, parked the bike and scrambled up for a sign of the log. Find it super amusing picturing geocachers of all ages and sizes attempting this signing.
Shame on all the cachers that log a found it upon 'sighting' the cache. Its 4.5 terrain for a reason! And besides,
Who doesn't love a good tree climb?

Thanks for giving us all a geat big grin on our faces before during and after this one.
Sorry for the late log.

Next, Dora the Explorer, Phil the Serenity, CDAH55 and I made our way to this cache. There had been some discussion of the teamwork applied to tree climbs by Dora and CDAH55 and Dora was keen to show this off. At GZ, the cache was quickly spotted. An assessment of the silver wall was made, but it was decided that the teamwork effort was a better way to go. Next thing I know, Dora is on all fours and CDAH55 is climbing on her back, using Dora as a "step" to be able to get into the tree. I was still shaking my head in amazement as our names were being added tot he log. TFTC

Parking is a bit tricky in this part of Brisbane.

Dora the Explorer!, Phil Serenity and I headed over to GZ where we met up with Selva Girls. Selva Girls know Brisbane a lot better then the rest of us.

We made it to GZ and spied the cache immediately. We looked at the silver wall and could not possibly think how it could help.

Dora the Explorer! and I have done tree climbs before where the only way to get into the tree is with team work. This one was no exception.

Dora the Explorer! got down on her hands and knees to make a platform to give me a bit of height to get into the tree. Once on the first branch it was not too long before I was at the cache. It had been raining during the day but that did not cause any problems with the climb.

The log was signed utilising the provided pencil and returned to the cache.

Back on the ground without and incidents.

All is good with this cache.

Find #1354

After finding placd to park car got to gz. A big leg for this one once cache spied

10-Mar-18
Quick easy find and climb. I was once again a human ladder for CDAH55 to get to the first branch. When I assumed the position on all fours Selva Girls said, you gotta be joking. I once again allowed CDAH55 walk all over me. I had an imprint of CDAH55 foot on my back. Lol. We didn't concern ourselves with what the nearby muggles must have thought seeing a bunch of middle aged people using team work to ascend a tree.

09-Mar-18
An easier climb than expected. I was pleased to find a pencil up there.

05-Mar-18
Found it! Note to self, wear proper shoes next time Smile TFTC!

03-Mar-18
There’s no way of getting it but we saw it

03-Mar-18
We saw it but couldn't get up to it.

03-Mar-18
We get by with a lil help from our friends!!! Tftc

02-Mar-18
Could actually see it but the place was very busy and I would have struggled to get up there and drawn a lot of attention so I'll leave it till a quieter time. Thanks for the hunt T.A.G.

02-Mar-18
Will come back with some help. Dunno how the wall is supposed to help!!

27-Feb-18
TFTC and thanks to my son doing the hard work

24-Feb-18
After a day cooped up inside due to the rain and with the weather clearing, I decided on a walk around the CBD and South Bank to get some exercise and collect a few of the caches that have sprung up since my last visit. My daughter, CrookedEm, came along and has now decided to start logging her finds!!

There were muggles around over yonder, but kids make a good distraction!

Nice view from this lofty perch. Muggles galore.

Picked a quiet break to perform the signing ceremony...

Having spotted this one before, we were back today with some better shoes for the job. It was busy on this Sunday morning, but climbing a tree doesn't seem to attract too much attention.
As per "smallwombat's" earlier log, the number of names on the paper log, certainly doesn't match the number of found logs online.
Surely the idea of a terrain star rating of 4.5 stars might mean it's not everyone's cup of tea. Sighting it doesn't mean logging it.
None-the less, we did enjoy the challenge and the nearby park. We used a "leg up" rather than the silver wall to get going, and with a bit of a struggle soon had the cache in our hands.
Thanks T.A.G; a lovely location.

Found it. Another day out with Aussie Clarke, He was already there with shoes off so gave him a lift up, he signed and replaced.

I look a bit sus here, with kids playing nearby. Need to return with my own Spider Monkeys, I think.

08-Feb-18
A nice urban caching day spent with [@_Mud_Blood_](http://coord.info/PRG5462) and her pup Kenai. This one was first on the list and not was it fun! We circled around a few possible locations although the hint was pretty straightforward, however, we just couldn't manage to locate it off the ground. After searching a little longer we finally spotted it clear as day and did as the hint said. It wasn't too long before our names were in the logbook. TFTC!

06-Feb-18
I saw it, I found it but I couldn't reach it so no smiley

05-Feb-18
This one i think i'll need to attempt either at night or with a group. Imagine the looks i would get, a bearded man climbing a tree in a kids playground. Yeeeah.

03-Feb-18
Found early on a very wet Saturday morning. Two teen muggles were smoking? and in the "cubby house" in the playground nearby. The silver wall gave some protection from their sight but then they laid down (may have been what they were smoking!). Tree and wall very wet and slippery and a bit dangerous but TFTC

Its amazing just how much u can do without beinging attention to yourself. . .saw it & DETERMINED to sign. . .so up I go . . .& dropped the @!@#$ lid. So signed the log & had to do it all again Anyway, TFTC, my first 4.5 terrain rating

29-Jan-18
Oh we do like a challenge like this. Smile A bit of a step up and we were away. Big Grin
Two muggles walked by and didn't even look up. All is good here.
Thanks for the fun cache T.A.G.

What's with all the found logs upon 'sighting' the cache.
So i never need climb a tree again then? Come on people.

25-Jan-18
Found it with a new geocacher. Tf

25-Jan-18
Never climbed a tree before in my life so extra proud of this tricky little cache. Helpful to have a second person for a boost and a hand down. Thank you.

22-Jan-18
Found it! TFTC

20-Jan-18
Found it but totally forgot our pen!! Took a photo for evidence if you want. Thought we spotted someone else caching as there was another adult in a tree.. Turns out it was the wrong tree and they were just doing it for fun haha. Thanks for the climb

20-Jan-18
Woohoo. Found with a newbie to geocaching!!! Unable to climb tree due to fear of falling. Great GC. Thank you

18-Jan-18
Ejcat and I were off to enjoy the delights of Southbank and stopped here to check out this latest attraction! We spotted the target but circled around a few times to work out the best plan of attack. Ejcat cheered me on as I hauled myself up the first bit and then I sat in a fork like a koala to catch my breath. It was a stretch to the final location and then I discovered that I didn't have a pen! So Ejcat tossed one up but it didn't make it and crashed to the ground . A passing muggle volunteered to throw it up to me and executed a perfect toss, no questions asked! We had our names in the log and I dismounted without injury.
Thanks for the fun and I hope this one hangs around to give many more smiles!

14-Jan-18
I can see it, but due to a medical condition I am unable to climb, retrieve & sign it...Thanks for bringing me to a part of brissy I haven't been to before!!

12-Jan-18
We like this kind of cache Smile. The cache is A1. TFTC and greetings from Montréal Québec Canada

This was my final cache Find on this current trip to Oz - and a nice tree-climb it was to “tip the hat” before departure Cool

With my teenage nephew trying to teach me the ways of **parkour**, I let him literally bounce up the silver wall and into the tree first. I then followed at a much more *leisurely & mature* approach [^] to demonstrate to these young ones the proper respect that tree-climbs should be shown Wink

Job done. Then it was over to the nearby American sports bar for a hot dog and a cooling ale Love this area around South Bank.

This morning I decided to cut the gym and give myself a workout here instead.
6am is a good time to come. There were some boot camp people nearby but they weren’t too interested in me.
I thought at first I was going for the BIG tree, but in light of the hint, found the right one. I then pondered how to make use of the wall, but it did come in handy for some traction.
All good up and down and cache looks sturdy so TFTC!

10-Jan-18
Quick easy find while killing time before BBL. Not sure how silver wall would help with climbing as per hint though. TFTC

08-Jan-18
Could see cache but couldn’t get up that high!!! Sad

T-Tech and I were at home enjoying the air con this afternoon when a few caches got published. He is not usually one to rush out for an FTF, so imagine my surprise when he said we should attempt the tree climb at South Bank! Yep, let's go!!

We spent a few minutes driving around the area searching for a legal parking spot, and I was glad we ended up with only a couple hundred metres to walk to GZ. As we arrived, the GPSr took us to a very large tree, and we were wondering where to start, when T-T remembered the hint, and a bit more searching put us in a much simpler spot! I could even see the cache from the ground! T-T put a sling and carabiner to good use and hauled himself up to make the grab. While he scaled the heights I had a chat to a lady sitting right nearby, as she had asked us outright if we were geocaching! Seems she has found a few with her family members [^]

T-T passed down the logsheet and we were pleased to see the blank spot at the top, and claimed the FTF. It's also my 8,900th find, so a mini-milestone for me as well. TFTC, T.A.G.

Saw this one come up as an Email Alert and as it was Sunday, and in South Bank we (IolantheK) thought it would be a good idea to get this one early [^]
Grabbed a couple of climbing slings and a carabiner (just in case) and found a spot of free parking (miracle in itself Razz) and made our way to GZ.
Here's where the hint was particularly helpful and IolantheK spotted the prize [^]
A bit of up and we had our names in a blank log book Cool
