We were docked in Akaroa New Zealand for the day on our ship - Holland America's Volendam. We started by going to the lighthouse for a cache and then headed up into the hills into the Garden of Tane. What a beautiful place and trails! We then kept going up and did other caches in a few cemeteries and at two monuments. We then went back down and did a few caches and a LAB in Town. We wound up with 9 caches on the day in our 9-mile hike/walk combo.Thank you to GH6710 for 4 of our caches and to the other 5 COs for their efforts and for the other 5 caches.Thank you also to the Lab creator for that Adventure.#####################This Cache: Quick Find, after the windy road walk.

Day #4 of my 11 day holiday and heading to Akaroa for the week.
After checking in to our Hotel it was time to explore. This took a bit to find as hint a bit deceiving. A few cobwebs later and with the aid of a torch cache was located and very very glad I didn't have to crawl right to the end! TFTC

Another day in Akaroa and decided on a drive out to the old lighthouse sight. On the return trip we decided to quickly grab this one. Was not where I thought to begin with but a quick look around and I soon had it in hand.
