Going to have to agree with OveckaOva on this one. Council may have something to do with this?
Update: Monster has been removed.

My second dnf this cache ... Where is it? I read last log but I found only one suspicious rock and nothing under it.
The hint is incorrect as it is at the base of the tree. The wind had just got up and we put a rock on top of it to stop the container flying away. Choppy lake!
(# 6138). Day 10 of my South Island odyssey. Today is getting some caches between Gore and Haast as well as having a good look around. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
Been out on my free day for a little caching tour. This one was my tired find for today. TFTC
Down here for work, so taking a bit of a site see in the evening
thanks for the placement

After lunch and wine tasting at the nearby Wooing tree vineyard we thought we would get some fresh air and go for a stroll. We found this one out in the open at the base of tree so we returned it back there as not sure where it should be hidden.
We are camping at the nearby campground for a week and have been very spoilt with the weather. Today is my last full day before the trek back to Blenheim so I'm off on a bike ride to grab a few more caches.
This was a busy spot here this morning...needed quite a bit of patience.

Had a great drive around Central Otago and Southland today, a wee bit of rainat the start, then a hot day many thanks to all the cache placer's. Thanks Bitsprayer
Yet again it was on the floor! We put it back as per the hint with some additional camo. TFTC
This one wasn’t in the log but on the ground in the open. It’s now in the end of the log wedged in with another stick.
Found on the floor. Not sure back in right place. Hid as best I could. Looks like a muggle signed it last.
TFTC - quick find today .
Stopped in Cromwell today to grab some caches on my way home after a weekend in Clyde playing bridge

We’re based at Arrowtown for a couple of days and headed over Cromwell way today to find a few caches and do some short walks in the process. This was one of 24 caches we located. Bypassed this one initially because of muggles not far away. Looked for it on my return leg. Took a moment or two to spot because I was envisaging a piece of wood on the ground! #2699. TFTC.
On the case of the biggest Museum jewel heist in history! Locating a detective, briefed him on the case and investigated the scene collecting evidence. Finding fingerprints, footprints and shadows recorded on video surveillance - one by one fifteen stolen gems were recovered only having to find another 21/14 caches to solve the vault code changed by the thieves, return the jewels and close the case. Parked more central to the plonky wine trail and staggered down the hill to the lake track. I'm forked if I could find this cache quickly and after a sit down, I though ok one more stick. Ha ha Zatarra. I make it a rule not to drink anything I can't pronounce. Cab/Sav is my preferred tipple or a Merlot, noice two-syllable wines. It's bad enough after two wines I can't put two sentences together! Alright - Who moved the floor!?! and where did that big silver rabbit come from?!? and why is there three of him??? Thanks for the fun trail and leading me down the rabbit hole/hiccup!!/cache/hiccup!! RowenaD.

We found it! It was our first geocache. A few metres away that what the GPS showed.
Quick find here. Did 3 of the vineyards from the 4 Barrels Wine Trail Walk today, plus had a lovely cheese platter for lunch at one of them. Very pleasant afternoon! TFTC
We found this one in a different place and it was obvious that a kind person had seen fit to replace a lost item. Perhaps the hint should be "A knife and ........." Thanks.
For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 2 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more. Today I decided to go for a walk from the caravan park along the lakefront.
The old logsheet was a mess so I replaced it with a new waterproof one.
Cheers for the cache.

On another trip to Central for a family event. I love coming here, and getting a few caches is a bonus. Soon found this after reading some logs. Thanks for bringing me to this cool spot.

#1232 - Second walk of the afternoon to pick up a trail of caches. Nice quiet afternoon with minimal muggles as the wind got stronger and stronger.

We also found this on the ground. We've put it nearby in an obvious geocaching kind of place. Tftc.
In Cromwell for a couple of days so an early morning walk around this part of the lake to get some caches. Wasn't sure where this was supposed to be but after checking the obvious places I spotted it on the ground out in the open so signed log and put back where I think it would have been. TFTC
We stayed 3 days in Cromwell, so I had to seek for this cache, because Gewürztraminer is my favourite wineflavour. Taste it yourself!
Usually we purchase it in the town in Germany there my wife is born, but I will make no publicity.

Found it but it was on the ground out in the open as if it was not actually in the right spot it looked like a piece of trash on the ground. We placed it closer to the tree.
Thx for the cache on this nice spot. Cache was visible on the ground!

Today we had our second day in Cromwell and again made a trip in and around the city, thus visiting many sightseeing highlights again. On this trip we searched, found and logged many caches, too. The weather was beautiful, sunny, very warm, no little bit cloudy, and only sometimes there was some wind.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had better things to do than observing two geocachers.
Thanks to RowenaD for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Gewurztraminer(Central Otago). The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

The youngest of the EU crew was involved in a hockey tournament for 3 days, so some great caching had between games. Lunch by the lake edge and some of the wine series completed. TFTC
A quick park and grab. Nice to see some new one around Cromwell will keep me busy for an afternoon. TFTC
Stunning view, found by my nearly 5year old while lil sis had a snooze in the car
Away for a school holiday escape in Cromwell, caching along the way on a beautiful winter day . TFTC 1688

Thanks thought a walk collecting these cache this morning after completing the half at Mt Difficulty yesterday would possibly be a good idea. Feeling a bit sore.
A wine that i can never spell or pronounce. Any time i try and spell it... gwerztramer... And any time i try and say it, it sounds like ive had a few drinks already and I'm slurring my "wrods".
Up for a couple of days of caching staying in Cromwell. Loved every minute of it.
