Logs
Hint object no longer visible. Found after reading previous log. Perhaps cache needs to be repositioned.TFTC
What a lovely spot for a walk, and on such a beautiful day too. Found as per previous finders and not hint. Tftc
Decided it was a beautiful spot for a walk. Hint doesn't quite fit, found as per previous finder. Tftc
I think if it weren't for the caches along here, we would have turned around. The track is so rough on our bikes! It was a muggy day, so we worked up a sweat.
A nice cache along the path, it takes me some time to find it but finally it was here !
TFTC !

But of a hunt but found in the end. Staying in Fairlie overnight after a day skiing Mt Dobson. Tftc.
Another good find going from cache to cache with woolwood9.SL: tm/ww NZThanks for putting this out for us to visit, we enjoyed the drive / walk around!Good find on the trail.
I couldn't NOT find this after Troodles and SWNZ had found it. It was on the mound as they wrote in their logs. Some spraying had taken place so dead plant litter was covering much of the shrub. It was broom underneath. I followed the branches back to the root. When I found the cache I couldn't get into it as it was crossthreaded. No tools but hey, house keys are not too bad. Managed to force the lid enough to be able to unscrew it. Have removed all the wet crap that was inside. Signed the log and replaced the container on the path side of the root with a stone on top. Not surprised others hadn't found it as the decomposing plant matter on top made it very hard to spot. My coordinates are attached.

This is not nice caching. Possibly vague coordinates, vague hint, and lots of long grass. Please check the coordinates, and check it's still there.
#18503. We drove on from Thank You Fairlie until we reached to walking track (the road had lots of puddles but was easy enough to navigate). Once at GZ we got stuck into searching, but with long grass and lots of small bushes it was a daunting task. A subtle hint in karma reprint's log lead me to have a more thorough look in a spot I had already had a look at, and there (well buried) was the cache (probably wouldn't have found this one without my walking pole). Whew (after multiple DNFs a little upstream at the start of the day we didn't want to end the day with another DNF). TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ after an afternoon drive to Lake Opuha.
Before heading back to base for a cuppa, we decided to look for a few more caches near Fairlie. We managed to drive to where the track cross the 4WD track, so didn't have far to walk to GZ.
Not a quick find as it was not pleasant searching in the long wet grass, and the hint was a bit vague.
I was ready to give it when SW had one more look on the mound, and there was the cache. Phew. Would have hated to have finished with another DNF. TFTC.

This took a little looking but got on top of it in the end. Cheers

What a mission...the area has been well trampled ..still took an ages to find tftc
We are on our summer holiday driving around the South Island with no real idea of where we will end up each day. We are often drawn to an area that has the potential to give us a few geocaching smilies and somewhere we have not spent time exploring before. So we spotted this trail of caches and decided to come and have a look see. It was so refreshing to ride a maintained trail, we have been on some really overgrown and washed out tracks in the last few days.
This took a while to find as the sides of the track are quite overgrown.
Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

I went out for a morning cyclocache ride down the walkway to the gorge. Reasonably quick find, one I decidedc on which 'small' bush.
Late log but better late the never... Second attempt, this time found with reshamfiriri.
The hint didn't really help cause there are too many possibilities and high grass everywhere.. We gave up after 15min search
On a geocaching mission with kiwitien and reshamfiriri and another friend... sadly between us we couldn't find this cache despite a very thorough search...
Area quite overgrown with convolvulus.

Too funny Lucas didn’t want to quit. We grabbed a few others further up the track then had a second hunt on the way back and he found it. You hide your caches so well. Thanks
On a Sunday morning mission to tidy up all the new, recent and archived caches in the area plus a tb rescue.
Another one I just couldn't pin down to many options in the end had to paf and he came to the rescue tftc

this was the final cache for me on this track before I ventured down the river a bit and grab the final I am really looking forward to being [FTF] on that one also as I have really enjoyed the walk and the mountain bike down the track although I didn't attempt the specially built structures it was an awesome ride thank you Niall for being the reason I came out here tftc and keep up the great work. the coordinate told me I was 3mts plus or minus 3mts at GZ a tricky little hide and one you should expect to spend some time on
