A few of the caches in this series are proving difficult to maintain, so archiving the series to free up the space
Looked at night, I looked pretty thoroughly with a phat torch but had no luck, I don’t think it’s there anymore but hopefully it is and someone finds it soon !!
Beautiful park I didn't know existed even though I'd lived in the area for years. Regardless, no luck in finding cache today although that may just have been due to Sunday muggle activity as I wasn't able to search for long.
The nearby playground was full of tiny muggles but we soon had this cache in hand. Found with teal.samson12. TFTC.
After a DNF months ago because it had been muggled, finally got to come back and search! Quick find with Jackam. TFTC!
I’m certain I found this one a while ago, pre-tree pruning, but forgot to log. Out for a quiet stroll in the sunshine and thought I’d make sure to get the smiley.
Many thanks for placing the catch diana8!

Our annual Christmas get together with quiet1_au and lochb was postponed to January and then postponed to February!! Unfortunately then lochb had some pressing work matters and so it was just q1 and us caching beforehand. This was next on the list and boy what a busy little park!! Luckily GZ is nicely sheltered and q1 was able to make the find pretty easily

Out for a quick afternoon caching run with G&J of GJMMelb, we headed for this one to start this mini (micro?) series but alas time was against us so another visit - hopefully with our 4th "Fourthorn" team member lochb with us - to complete it will be in order. Parking nearby we headed in to this busy park and hoped we could find the cache anyway. J & I took the main trail to GZ(ish) whereas G took another route which was a better one. J & I soon headed to where G was, but with J's reading out of the hint I couldn't help but spot the cache when we got there... Visit logged, log replaced, cache photographed for G's records , we headed back to the car for one last cache for the day. TFTC diana8 - I hope we can complete the series in the next week or "two"!
Our first cache! Easy find with the hint. Thanks, can't wait to do the rest of the series.
So hot there's not a muggle around. The playground climbing web looks a bit like the magnetic ball & stick constructions. Did resort to the clue as there seems to be many possible hiding locations. TFTC
{255} We came here a few weeks ago with the hope of finding this one to finish the series & solve the final, but it had been muggled. Thanks diana8 for replacing so we could finish our quest. All good here & safely tucked away. No room to drop, so trackables visited. TFTC!
Disappeared again. And in fact, the adjacent tree has also disappeared. Might need to rethink this one
Lots of evidence of scratching around & play, no sight of cache. I worry it has been muggled. Again. Will wait & watch; thanks anyway diana8
Christmas day find! TFTC although seems to be in very plain sight, found it in less than a minute. Cheers. Looking forward to finishing the series.
Today is the start of the 3, 2, 1 Go souvenir period, so I thought I grab at least one cache for the day. (Just need another 5 days before next year). This was the closest cache to me and I thought it might be a quick, muggle free find. Not so. The park was in full swing with kids squealing and parents watching on, with more arriving every minute. Fortunately, they totally ignored me and left me to my search.
Thanks to diana8 for the cache in a lovely park I knew little of.

Couldn't get close enough to look for it. There were just too many Muggle families, and two kids in particular decided I was really interesting to watch. Had a good idea of where it would be, but it would've been Muggled right after I left. I'll come back another time.
Lots of muggle families around in this nice park on a sunny day today, but thankfully GZ is hidden behind the bush. This seems like such a simple hide, yet it blends in so well that it becomes hard to spot. TFTC
Sure needed a sharp eye to spot it. Will have to return from our airbmb around the corner with a pencil. Thanks, nice oasis in this lovely gentrified area
This was a quick find when I was a little early for a nearby appointment. All in good condition, TFTC
I tried for this a little while back but it was muggled. Today no issues at all and the light rain had a quiet park. Thanks to diana8 for the placement and fun.
After a thorough search, couldn't find it, not sure if missing or if I couldn't see it as it was dark. Will try again another day
After finding out the cache was missing and got replaced I thought it was time to come back and retry this one.. pull up in the car and found it before I even got out. I'm worried how long this will take until it gets muggled again. It sure is an easy cache to find lol...
Everything looks fine and in good order.
Everything looks fine and in good order.
It took me a few goes to find this one, and looking back over the logs it could be because it kept disappearing... I hope it stays this time! I'm very pleased to have finally gathered the four clues so I can now complete the puzzle. Today's achievement was part of a long suburban walk from my house on the way to accumulating nearly 12.5K steps. (fist pump) TFTC
I tried looking in the tree and I thought I saw it but all it was was a small white pipe
was fun - have found it before but didn’t get the chance to write my name on it aha.
Thank you for being the reason to visit this great park with my toddler- I didn’t bring a pen with me though, I will on my next visit to play here! TFTC!
Not sure why we didn't collect this when we got the others but today we remedied that so that we can look for the final. Thanks for the cache.

Out in this area this afternoon/evening with Mrs Papi4506. Decided to target this little group of caches, some of which she’d already found.
Cheers diana8

Found It!
A surprisingly quick find here given how small the cache was. There was some kind of Jewish party happening nearby to...

Nice camo, although I suspect it could do with a bit of touching up. Great to get a find after three DNFs. Have a favourite tick. TFTC diana8.
Away from my normal Territory visiting a friend in Elsternwick. This was the nearest Cache, so a little walk to a very pleasant Park and here we are. Tftc.
It was late. I needed a cache to fill a calendar day. I was discussing with geopartner whom this should be - usually it is him because he is a "him" and I am a "she" worried about all the things that "shes" normally are worried about wandering about late at night on their own. He was going. Then the geobaby started crying, he ran up to deal with that - but it was taking longer and longer and the time was rapidly ticking away... And this is how I found myself out at Greenmeadows Gardens at 11.45pm on a Tuesday night. Turns out that the local teenagers also thought this was a good time to be in the gardens as they were no fewer than 20m from GZ playing 70s rock music and chatting away. Needless to say - I was VERY hesitant about getting too close. Finally, with great courage I approached GZ - always keeping the car in sight. Turns out there was a bushy garden bed and a small fence between me and them, so I felt a little better. The music also provided a great cover for my rustlings. Okay. Now, where is it? I can't use a torch, or even my phone. Just have to go on geosenses. So I was standing there analysing the scene, when I saw the faintest glint of something in the street light. Could it be? Only one way to find out. I got closer, reached out my hand and TA DA!!!! I had it in my hand. I have no idea if I would have found this in the light of day. I have no idea how I found it at the dead of night! But I left a happy geocacher and nothing untoward happened the teenagers were none the wiser to the geart struggle that had happened in their midst, so triple plus for me. Many thanks diana8!

Caching buddies: none
It's the perfect qaepag. But it could easily get muggled

Out and about with Echidna44 after a drought due to injury. This was our last for the day and could not have enjoyed it more. We wanted to finish on a find and pick up the last clue. It was nice and easy Thanks for the journey diana8 Loved our journey, Now to work out the answer
Out with xambo4u, it was dark, and the end of a long day. We were lucky to find this quickly, and then set off home. Thanks diana8
A sunny Sunday morning meant that the park was quite busy today. After spotting the hide I wandered off to sign the log and note down the clue. Then it was time to sweep back and deposit it safely back in position. There are some interesting and unique local items in the playground, I recall visiting here when the kids were younger.
Thanks to diana8 for placing this cache.

This is my second day in a row travelling to Melbourne from Geelong to enjoy finding a few caches.
On the way up we passed through some light rain but then the rest of the day was full sunshine.
While in the area today two new caches were published so a couple of FTF's was a complete surprize. This has only happen twice in my 14 years of caching, we were in Apollo Bay about to head for Geelong and a new cache was published only a few hundred metres ahead.
This placement was in an area that I have never been to before, signed noted the required word and returned.
We had no problems with this guy so thanks for placing all good with the container.

Find #3379. Found @ 22:49
We were in Ballarat for the day while some new caches were published, so once we'd returned home and had dinner, I ventured out to grab a few new caches (and clean up some older ones).
Since I only had one more clue to get for the puzzle, I ventured here to collect. It was a quick find in the most likely place.
Took nothing, grabbed clue, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache diana8

Suscoe headed out for a day of caching fun in the inner south east of Melbourne with our great mate Bushfire.
Little did we know what this had had in store but a couple of FTF surprises greeted us during the day!
Always a bonus.
We enjoyed a delightful Autumn day with sunshine, a cool temperature, great cache locations and we learned a bit along the way about this area.
Thanks to diana8 for this hide, what lovely parks there are around this suburb.

We pulled up at the beautiful park and soon had the cache in hand of to do the 4th in the series
I know I am about six months early, but today was Caulfield Cup Day for me. I planned to get all four and then the final in one day.
Arriving at GZ, I was concerned as there were many happy children playing on the equipment. Thankfully, this one is hidden thoughtfully out of sight, so all was well and I soon had the cache in hand. Sat nearby and signed my name before returning it to its hide.
Thanks for the cache, diana8, and for the placement.

Was easy but took a long time! The coordinates were a bit off and led us directly in to a wall
I dropped by this cache after doing some shopping in Balaclava Rd. I parked in Green St and wandered across the park to GZ. There were lots of kiddies in the nearby playground but luckily GZ was hidden from their view by a big bushy garden and a large toilet block. [^] I quickly spotted the likely hide but had to wait for intermittent muggles walking down the nearby street. I grabbed the cache when the coast was clear and took it away to sign the log at 4:40 pm. TN except the clue for the mystery cache and LN. I then returned the cache to its hiding spot when there was a window of opportunity.
Thanks diana8 for the cleverly camo'd cache in what was a very busy location today. After finding the cache I enjoyed having a squiz at the beautiful gardens. I will have to return sometime and find the other caches in this series.

After dropping off one of the geokids I had a couple of hours to spare this morning, however 15 minutes into my searching the rain started so ended up aborting the cache run for this morning so it will take a little longer to get my planetary souvenirs now won't it.
Anyway this was the first on my list and after parking in the nearby street luckily GZ was out view of the playground so I made the find fairly quickly after noticed something slightly out of place.
Thanks diana8 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

This one isn't too far from home for me and of course after you have been caching for a while it's great when a new cache (and in this case a new series) pops up in the area. I had found two others in the series and was able to head here after work today to try this one. I found a conveniently close parking spot (the GPS reading 20m) and headed to take a look. I could hear muggles nearby but I was nicely shielded and quickly spotted something worth investigating. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for this cache and the series diana8.
