Logs
Looked all around the wall, behind metal bit and surrounding fence but no find. A lack of a hint didnt help, especially with the high traffic area
No wonder I've heard so much about this walk - the view is amazing. Located cache but I had to take a lot of photos waiting to retrieve, sign and replace - the walk is very popular - not being a local I soon learnt this. TFTC
We found the logbook, but it was just the logbook hidden.. it may need checking.. we placed the logbook in a plastic bag
Sunny Sunday, the first day of September. And yet Im temporarily cache-blinded for twenty minutes. Eventually found the hide where I actually searched a few times. Be patient, its there. TFTC oldmorty
Easy find, harder to replace as muggles everywhere. Log is full so couldnt sign, but pic taken. Tftc!
Visiting Sydney for the weekend and also looking for some caches of course. This one I could find! Thanks for the cache
Even though I had an idea where to look from the start, it took a while to find it!Succeeded at the end TFTC
Very good hide and the nano is in good condition from the outside. I couldnt sign as I never had a pen but will definitely go back and sign. Heres a photo of the view from a different cache
A wonderful trip to Australia. We also passed by here.Thank you very much.
Out and about again, headed over to Sydney early in the morning, grabbed a hire car and got some local hides before driving to Canberra for the MEGA. Super excited my first MEGA and heading over with 2 others from the Cockburn Crew - signed log as WAC to save time. This is 14205, hoping to clock over the 15,000 finds in the week in New South Wales and ACT.Thanks to oldmorty for the caches we found.********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********Head over to Australian Capital Territory for Capital GeoBash MEGA - Canberras first ever Mega Event. Cockburn Crew on tour to the Canberra Mega. Day 1 involved a bunch of caching around Sydney before making our way to Canberra for the Capital Geobash. We found a huge variety of caches, and its great to cache in new territory that we havent explored much in the past. Unlike our home state of Western Australia where we have found just about anything and everything.A beautiful day with great weather and even better company. Thank you to the local COs for a great day in and around this great country of ours.
Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra on Good Friday, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. Arrived in Sydney today after an overnight journey via Melbourne. Feeling pretty buggered, the time difference, short flights and transfer of aircraft in Melbourne didnt help. Despite a sleepless night, we had to push on, and the plan was to catch up with a friend in Coogee. I live near Coogee in Perth, but we pronounce it differently. I eyed off a few caches and LGAs to clean up in the process. If youre receiving this log, the chances are that todays mission was a success. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers oldmorty! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
Another new LGA. Grabbed while there was a gap in muggle traffic In Sydney for a few days before heading to Canberra for the Capital Geobash. Today was all about catching public transport to pick up new LGAs.oldmorty, I found Eastern Beaches Coastal Walk today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
The cool wind had picked up by 6.45pm but there were still some walkers and runners out getting buffeted along the Coastal Walk. The cache wasn't as quick to find as we expected till we gave some thought to where the obvious place was. And still nearly missed it. TFTC oldmorty
Walk on the coastal from Bondi to Congee. A fantastic walk but the Caches are difficult to find. One only found. TftC Frtau
Once the penny dropped it was a quick find. What a stunning cemetery. Great place to spend eternity. TFTC
Today we walked from Bondi Beach to Coggee. I really like Clovelly Beach We had to deal with the crowds for the Scuptures by the Sea. They were stunning. But the crowds...meh. we stopped here for lunch. Hubby made a quick find. Thanks for the cache.
In Sydney for a few days catching up with our son. Hubby was exploring the nearby cemetery today, following up on some family history and those buried there. I enjoyed the walk along the coast and picked up the hides along the way.Found after a short search, inbetween walking muggles. Spectaular views. Thanks for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
On our last day in Sydney & Australia we took the coastal walk from Coggee Beach to Bondi beach. Of course we couldn't resist to look for some caches on the way. This one was easy to find and was logged successfully as well.
A good day correcting 4 DNFs from 12 months ago. This time it was in the first place I looked. I didn't even have to feel for it.TFTC
Second day of my trip to Sydney and Tasmania. Together with my niece (she is living here for 1 year) we went to this nice walk, passing this small cache.TFTC
Zusammen mit Tantchen BellaMin vom TeamTweeny Netti whrend des AuPairJahres gefunden und das Logbuch signiertTftc
As I wanted to meet up with friends at Bondi Beach in the afternoon, I used the free morning to walk there from Coogee.Along the way, I was able to enjoy the great views and find a few geocaches.
Found while walking from Coogee to Bondi. Took a little bit of searching but I soon had an idea of where to look. Couldn't open the container to sign so I've attached a photo. TFTC!
WTF, 3rd DNF in a row. Was pretty sure to look for a nano behind the metal sign but could not spot it....
Found while walking along the coast from Bondi to Coogee My first find in Australia! My muggle girlfriend made the actual find! TFTC.
We did a coastal walk today from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach with some geocaching. We didn't find this one. Maybe next time.

Found it, but spent more time looking for my pencil that I dropped, than the cache! Photo sent as evidence. Thanks.
In the area this evening, grabbed a flashlight and went for a walk. This one was quite sneaky, but the flashlight did the work for me, phew! Thanks for sharing this lovely location oldmorty #2030
Took much longer to find than expected- but thanks to Nicole’s great spotting we found it
On the walk to Coogee this cache had us stumped. Due to crowds it was hard to take a decent look but we knew what we were looking for. We searched everywhere with no luck, and agreed we would have another look on the way back to bondi in the afternoon.
After moving on I read some very old logs which had a helpful clue. We had already done what it said in our initial search but it gave us reassurance for when we went back. Arrived back in the mid-afternoon and were there for 5 minutes - still no luck. We started to accept that maybe it wasn’t there, or we just couldn’t find it. I leaned to grab my belongings and have one final glance, and there it was! NayEla retrieved it and quickly signed and returned as found. Great hide!

StreetWalkerNZ and I took a bus (actually it took a few buses to make the journey) to North Bondi to do some ad labs and the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk. We didn't make it to Coogee, bailing in Clovelly.
This one took longer than it should have, I spotted the hide straight away, but discounted it. It was only on a second pass (between hordes of muggles) that I realised it was the cache Good hide. TFTC.

#22801. We correctly guessed the type of hide, but it still took a lot of spotting. I was pleased when Troodles spotted it. TFTC.
Took longer than it should have! Quite muggly out today but what a gorgeous view! TFTC
We have arrived in Sydney on a mission to find caches in LGA's we don't have.
We have been expertly advised and guided by wazza9 in completing this task. Today we ticked off 5 and enjoyed the sights along the way. Took some time, got there in the end, yep tricky!!
Many thanks to all CO's for placing caches and helping us achieve our goals.
