Had a long chat to the home owner next to the GZ who is aware of the cache and has confirmed that she had sighted it in the past. Showed me the hiding spot which was empty. She believes the cache may have fallen out or not been put back properly some time ago and subsequently mistaken for rubbish as it’s right next to the kerb and the spot she puts her bins out. She thinks someone has picked it up and placed it in the bin.

Too many muggles around to search properly. Will come back another time, though.
No luck today. Spoke to the nearby resident who knew about it and confirmed it had gone. He was also a CO himself (of the Rosstown Rail Series).
Nice to meet you and get a find of sorts!

Out to find some caches in this nice sunny weather I’m heading into the inner city suburbs today to meet up with some friends and I thought I’ll leave early and grab some caches along the way. Tftc.
With the sun shining and some warmer weather finally appearing I stopped by today. It was a quick find and my name was soon in the log.

Just been around the corner to visit dad and a cache or two and an event sounds just about right to end the winters morning that we are having.
A reasonably quick find this afternoon.

Geokid right on to this.. on our riad trip from cairns wandering around this big town of yours
I found a geo when we were going to our friends house. The bright packaging caught my little tiny eye.
The cache was on the ground with the log book spread everywhere however I was able to collect all the pieces and return it to its hide. Will need some tlc to spot it getting muggled again.

Having walked by this site regularly this cache has definitely been shifted. May be worth being checked. TFTC
This was a quick target of opportunity in between dropping a geochild off at Scouts and doing a spot of shopping.
I tried to search here one night a month or two back, but felt very conscious at the time of being spotted, whether by a couple of people visible in the adjacent house, some builder types working on the other side of the road, or a frustratingly large number of random muggle dog-walkers passing by in either direction, and so abandoned the attempt without putting much effort in, since loitering wasn't an option.
Tonight was a different matter, with the cold night air making for a clear coast, at least while I was there, allowing me to look properly.
As it turned out I found the hide within seconds, though not in a place the hint would have led me to search in first, so not sure if its shifted or if I'm missing something, but in any case the log was signed and the cache replaced where found.
Thanks for the cache, JoJo_0509.

Not sure how I could have missed this previously, it was very easy today.
No tradies this times, but it looks the new house over the road ios not far away from being occupied as some people, probably the owners, were showing it off to some friends.

Out and about with Echidna44 to finish off this area from last week. Pulled right up to GZ as the man opposite came of his unit. No park here we thought but the hide was soon I hand. Nice easy one. Thanks for the cache jojo_0509
Accompanied with crank1 for caching day in Oakleigh/Clayton area. Found it but no log paper. TFTC
Found it and replace new log with kangas11.

Out with xambo4u, we parked at GZ and surveyed the surrounding scenery (as per hint) a quick find, thanks JoJo_0509
Our first geocache find! Wow, I love this game. A global treasure hunt only for ‘people in the know’! It was so rewarding to find this red glistening Eclipse box. Happy hunting!
I really shouldn't have attempted this. After getting 2 finds today I should have headed to my next essential stop. But it was so close..only 3 turns. So I went. And I found. Really easily. Yay!
And while I was returning the log a pleasant muggled passed by and asked " Geocaching?"
So we rehid it together with a bit more camo
Thank you for placing this here.

Yeah, the tradies.
Had a quick look around the obvious place but nothing found.
I could not see any good alternatives, so I'll put this on my watchlist and see what happens.

I tried for this before with no luck. With muggle tradies lurking I had to confine my search to one place..and it was the right one.. Thanks to JoJo_0509 for placing this cache.
This is my second day in a row travelling to Melbourne from Geelong to enjoy finding a few caches.
On the way up to Melbourne today I was with my great caching mates the suscoe's, we passed through some light rain but then the rest of the day was full sunshine.
While in the area today two new caches were published so a couple of FTF's was a complete surprize. This has only happen twice in my 14 years of caching, we were in Apollo Bay about to head for Geelong and a new cache was published only a few hundred metres ahead.
This was a quick find today and so far we have had no DNF's fingers crossed.
Thanks JoJo_0509 for this placement.

Suscoe headed out for a day of caching fun in the inner south east of Melbourne with our great mate Bushfire.
Little did we know what this had had in store but a couple of FTF surprises greeted us during the day!
Always a bonus.
We enjoyed a delightful Autumn day with sunshine, a cool temperature, great cache locations and we learned a bit along the way about this area.

On this fine ANZAC day I decided to go for a jog. I wasn’t planning to find any caches but then I remembered I probably won’t have many more chances to grab local caches such as this one because I’m moving out of this area soon. I didn’t have a pen but I took a photo of the log. TFTC

Needing a cache to fill a spot on the Calendar I found myself suddenly craving ice cream. Jumping in the car with my daughter we headed over towards Dairybell stopping here on the way. I had a good idea where this one might be. I had just started searching when I heard a dog bark and the front door of the nearby house open. I froze behind the tree not wanting to draw any attention to myself. After a few minutes the person went back inside. I started searching again and a second time the front door opened and a lady appeared. I decided I may as well say hello. She said are you looking for the cache. I thought she might have been the owner. We had a bit of laugh and then I continued searching for the cache. Shortly after I spotted something hiding amongst some natural camo. I had a great night meeting the neighbours and getting acquainted with a possum who really didn’t appreciate me disturbing him.

Found in the company of GJMMelb and quiet1_au whilst on the planetary souvenir pursuit. A quick find, with a could of young owners watching us and making sure we had it. TFTC
Out for an afternoon of caching with quiet1_au and lochb, this was next for the day. It was a lovely day for caching and we enjoyed making our way to Pluto lol although all the TB dropping and retrieving so that q could take them overseas, almost did my head in!!!
Yep we can confirm the cache is definitely there! It took us a while to locate and as we were searching we saw some young people walk past and once q found it the second one ran excitedly to the first one so we guessed they may have been the CO’s lol ....we asked and they replied a quiet yes from a distance lol... nice to sort of meet you young ladies and we hope you put lots more caches out!

A not as quick as it ought to have been find, the easy drive-by turned out to be a little trickier than expected but the cache notes are accurate. After a bit of a search, and a couple of locals who clearly knew what we were up to (we suspected they were the COs?) I checked a spot previously missed and voila! TFTC
The cache is definitely still there. Because I live close by I can check every day or every second day at least. Keep trying
When you get a string of easy finds, then a string of DNFs, it a sign for the owner to check the cache, and replace or disable it. Or advise that it's really there, but when this happens for a DT of 1.5/1.5, it doesn't look hopeful.
Not for us today. Had a good look but what with the tradies and 2 suss people wandering around GZ, decided enough was enough.
I had a rare weekday morning with some spare time so after grabbing my coffee in Elsternwick I headed on to take a look for some recently placed caches in nearby suburbs. A nice run of relatively quick finds brought me to this one. I had the wrong idea at first but a quiet residential street provided good to keep looking at this time of day and in the end I spotted it. My fifth find of five near here this morning and in a total of eight for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for this cache JoJo_0509.
Found while on a short work walk from work at lunchtime.
Thanks jojo_0509. Apologies for the belated log.

A few people out today. A couple of cars to dodge. This one is the only green in area. Needed a smiley.

Last find on our first day of geocaching. Had a great afternoon. Forgot the pen so took a photo.
An interesting location for a cache and even more interesting that the CO actually has no finds recorded before placing this cache.
In any event, I was in need of a daily cache, it was muggy and there was a forecast for rain in a fairly large quantity. Time to go for a semi local cache and given that people weren't quite sure how long this one might last so I popped over earlier rather than later.
Cache was found in an appropriate spot. However there are building works going on across the road at the moment which might also affect the longevity of the placement.

Picked this one up on the way home.
Would be interested to know what the significance of the location is.

I had been really lazy all morning so this afternoon I headed out for a drive around to find a few caches in my 15km zone.
This was the first one on my list and I spotted it as I parked the car before I got out. Hope it lasts it such a visible location.
Thanks JoJo_0509 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Find #3107. Found @ 23:00
This was published at dinner just after I'd medicated myself, so I couldn't go for the FTF galavant. I still needed to get a cache for my daily find to keep my streak going, and this was so close, so I went for a stroll later.
On arrival at GZ, I spotted the exposured container immediately, and tried to conceal it a bit better before leaving. There doesn't seem to be a better way to hide it there. Unfortunately, I have some doubts about the longevity of the hide.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

After scoring FTF on a @Mark9375 cache down the road we noticed this one still had no logs, so I followed 4bait and Mark8376 to Murrumbeena.
A thorough search finally revealed the cache in a most unexpected location.
Noting the DNF log by The Double-A's a message was sent by carrier pigeon and an "A" arrived soon after.
Not the first time The Double-A's have beaten me to a FTF but at least this time I got to share the glory.
Thanks for the cache JoJo_0509.

Joint FTF with the Double-A's in pole position and n0w0rries and mark9375. Mark had just had a cache of his own published and off coarse n0wOrries showed up for the find. After a breif chat we noticed that this one was still up for grabs so in the cars and off we went. Arrived at GZ and found the cache and met the C/Os who are new to the game. had a little chat and passed on a few tips etc great to see some new people joining in on the fun TFTC
I am the only twit who would run down the road at 8:30pm at night in thongs, in 33 degree stifling heat to try and get a FTF. This cache is only 400m from where we live, so we were what you'd call enthusiastic to get our second FTF ever. And guess what? After a fruitless search, we then ran out of light because we naturally forgot to bring a torch. So it's regretfully a DNF from us.... Over to you N0W0rries!
JOINT FTF! Now this was unusual, but a great example of the kindness of the geocaching community. A little birdie who read my previous log told me that the cache had not actually been released at the time we were there looking for it... and he kindly waited for me to get my eager little butt down there to sign the log and claim the FTF. So I am claiming joint FTF with N0W0rries, 4Bait and Mark 3785. Nice one fellas and good to see y'all! Always eager for more caches in this area. TFTC
