An almost local event, how could I not attend! Great to have met Aix sponsa, Mocrin and lostcheq and catch up with some old friends.
02/02/2018 19:08 I met Lost Cheq, Aix sponsa and 2 other American cahcers from the very cold part of the U.S. I do have a pathtag from Lost Cheq and I need to log it and send one of mine back to you! TFTC
As I'm now 3 months behind in my logging I am desperately trying to catch up and am mass logging to do so.
I attended this event even though I did get there as it was ending, almost!
Stayed around with many others for ages chatting and making plans for tomorrow
It was nice to meet our visitors and I Love the cameraderie at events
Afterwards I headed over to pick up yinyang to go caching
There was police during our caching run, no idea why ...

Great event! Thank you so much to all the friendly local cachers who came to the event, it was a wonderful evening!
Thank you everyone who came! I enjoyed visiting with you, and hearing about your adventures and knowledge of geocaching. My geocaching partners in this crazy activity arrived just a little late bringing more stories to share. It was a great time for my first event that I organized. Wish all many more tales and adventures to share. Safe caching to all.
Since I appear to be stuck in Melbourne and I haven't been to the Botanic Gardens, I figure I need to get to this event!
Oops forgot to log this. I'll be there! Will be caching around the area just before.
We’ll try to attend - we’re not really the grup, but we’ll be delighted to meet Aussie GC’s!
What a great turn out! Loved meeting everyone, especially the teamwork for the Woozle! Aussies Rock!
Visiting from Northern Wisconsin, USA, and have a great time in 4 days near the Melbourne area before we head to Sydney.

What a great turn out this evening. The weather was perfect for a welcome to Melbourne event. Met some cachers from the USA as well as a bonus one from Germany! Hope you all enjoy your caching adventures in Australia and maybe we'll cross paths again one day.
I came after work. Grabbed a bite in the city beforehand. No one likes hangry sharks. Took the most convoluted way to the event and was about to grab a cache but discovered that the handbag was penfree. A 1st!
Lovely to meet you all and definitely would love to visit you all one day. I am totally envious of your holiday. It's jam packed and that's how I like em too.
Swapped a few TBs pathtags etc and chatted with others that came.
Then we went off and hunted a Woozle. Lovely event. I'm glad I came along. Tftc

Cache of the day and a meet! How perfect is that? We get to welcome some international cachers to Australia and some good caching talks!
Thanks for the meet Aix sponsa!

Thanks for the event! Always great to meet up with others caches. See you soon!
Did manage to catch my 2 trains on time and I am relaxing now. I was very hot by the time I walked to Flinders St Station.
Sorry it was such a quick visit.
Thanks for putting the event on today and I hope you enjoy your stay here in Australia.

Great place for an event. Nice to meet some overseas visitors and some old friends.
Thanks for organising.
Thanks for organising.
Very nice to meet a few of the locals as well as visitors. How good are the Botanical Gardens? Astonishingly good!
After my first 12 days in Australia, i decided to attend to this event. The plan, to meet people, spend time outside, see new places and talk english, worked very well. It was a nice event. Thanks for the organization and the little present.
Of course David was there, but Mary was unable to attend for once. Great to see quite a few old friends there and to meet our three visiting Event hosts. Lots of tales told all round, and traded a few pathtags as well. Also managed to collect a couple of traditionals on the way out, so a productive outing indeed. Our thanks to Aix sponsa, Mocrin and lostcheq.
Well I'd love to meet more Americans! Hopefully I can get there after work and will try to remember to bring my pathtags.
If you are free the next day, Im holding an event not too far away.
https://coord.info/GC7GY2V and you are welcome to come to that too. You can get a train from the city easily or drive.
