Logs
Out on my own todayThanks for creating, placing and maintaining for our enjoyment Party time GCARTY0 - 05 October 2025 Sunshine Coast
Coordinates played up a little but we found it. Nice sneaky hide in a quiet place. TFTC cheers
Took a walk up here from the tender drop off. Quite surprised to find 2 caches - the original and new replacement. Signed both. Replaced both. CO may want to remove one. Thanks for placing and maintaining.
Lots of debris around. Will try again after it's been cleared from the recent flooding.
Heading back to Trinity Beach for a couple of nights before we start heading to Iron Range. Missed a few today but was rushing - will be spending time between butterflies and caches tomorrow. This was a Dodgy park - got the car not the cache location. This is a bold spot gif a nano - I would have thought it might get knocked off regularly. Quickly found and I raced to sign the log before a dig walker turned up. TFTC MandyLou25
Found on the way to work today. Sneaky little hide that had me mosquito ravaged by the time I signed the log and replaced the cache. TFTC SL
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching. TFTC MandyLou25

I sat down right next to it to read the description, not realising that I did not have to move to have it in hand.
Hubby and I both said we found it. He pointed to location and it was me who saw it and grabbed it... so I reckon it was me who found it log sheet is almost full. Thanks for the cache.
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 28. Cairns section Day 12. Today I joined Smitten Granny for caching in the Northern part of Cairns, from Redlynch to some of the northern beaches. We targeted caches that I had missed on previous visits and some of the newer ones in the area. The rain held off for the morning and we stopped caching after lunch at a Trinity Beach Bakery.
I have tried this cache before without any luck, so I was very happy when Smitten Granny pulled the nasty little item out from its logical hide. I am also happy the log did not go back as far as my last DNF.
Thanks for the cache MandyLou25

Today I spent the morning out caching with Albida33 who had compiled a list of caches that he wanted to try for. Luckily for us it was the second day in a row when we didn't experience any rainfall. We started in the southern region and wandered around gradually moving northwards. We only had one DNF even though we had spoilers to help us refine the search area. We did have one log that was completely soaked and photos were taken to prove our find. All other logs were signed sometimes just with our initials if the log was small.
It was a beaut morning finishing with lunch at Trinity Beach. Thanks to all COs for placing so many caches . Cairns is certainly a treasure house for geocachers.
Apologies for generic logs. They are not designed to detract from the individual caches rather they are an indication of how tired I feel this evening.

TFTC! There must have been an event across the road at the golf club, as there were lots of cars parked near GZ!
Thanks MandyLou25 for giving us a reason to explore. Good hide took a little searching to find this one. Tiny.
We found it! Great cache and a great hide. We are on holidays from WA and are quite used to theses small types of caches. Easy find. Tftc log was a little difficult to unroll without destroying but I can provide pictures to confirm we found.
Grey Nomads travelling around Australia - more recently, just Queensland, and of late, Cairns, where we are based for all of March. Out for a wander today, picking up a cache or five.
We enjoyed watching 3 red tail black cockatoos, who allowed us to sit for 5 minutes before they flew away. Oh, and we found your cache. Favourite point for the hunt for allowing this to happen

No luck - even when I have two very sensible nephews with me that are going to buy me really fantastic Christmas presents we couldn’t find it.
I went on a week long trip to Cairns to escape the Canberra region and do a little diving and some exploration with caching to keep me busy. The warm weather was refreshing after the Canberra winter. As usual after flying up there was lots of walking but it was great to be out. Day 10. This was my last day around Cairns and I went South for a bit of caching, after lunch I went back up north for another round before calling it a day.
I spent a lot of time on all things I thought could hold a cache, but I did not find it.
Thanks.

Looked everywhere metal and all through comments and photos. Think this is missing
They weren’t kidding when they said it was a micro! Took about 5 mins, but we found it. GPS was saying about 4m away. SPOILER ALERT: you will probably have to bend down to grab this one
Quick find with accurate coordinates, signed and replaced thanks again MandyLou25
Cache was easy to find and park is also very nice. Greetings from Germany! TFTC!
Parked across the road at the area where caddies would park and made the stroll across to the entrance of the parkland area.
The GPS was quite adamant about where to look and we soon had the container in hand.
Log signed, we were off in search of our next Yorkey's Knob cache.

Awesome, and very spider-free! Thank you! Over on hols from WA, great to cache in my old stomping grounds
Visiting my cousin in Yorkey's knob it was only fitting I picked up a cache. Nice easy find
A spider has built a thick web and eggs around the cache. Didn't touch or sign it.
Tftc. This is the final one for us jn the Museum Mystery.

Short stop on our way home, now we understand the name. We were wondering what so many people in this area do with a trailer.

First find of the day. Didnt fill out log book as we werent sure wed be able to put it back in. TFTF
We parked in the nearby carpark and sauntered over, just as a muggle came wandering our way. She was in a world in her own and startled herself when she bumped into the fence. Then she noticed us and we exchanged pleasantries. A quick find once she continued on her way. Three black cockies supervised from above. TFTC
2nd find for my Twin Chantie. Had to twist the paper with nails to get the log out.
