SL at 3:20pm. Day out with bdiaw. We were in the area today shopping so we decided to do these caches. It is nice what they have done with these rail lands for the community to use. It is very popular indeed.

This is a wonderful town that we have visited before, but we are still amazed at what the town has to offer.
Today we travelled around the outskirts of town caching as we explored the area.
Thanks for placing your cache.

We sat out the latest heavy shower and now we are in the move again.
A nice quick easy find.
We didn’t do the slippery slide we walked around as Mrs Riddell is recovering from recent surgery.

After fulfilling family duties and dropping Ostrich and Magpie off at the hotel Owl decided to head out to grab a few caches. The original plan was to walk the line, but with fading light she decided after this one to make it a drive and walk. A bit slippery, but thankful for a quick find under the circumstances.
Marvellous Mt Gambier. Staying here for the next week on our trip around Australia. Thanks heaps for placing this cache here.
This is our 7th cache here.

South East trip with the geo-pup. Day 9, around Mt Gambier and Mt Schank.
Couldn't see it on the only structure around, so did a bit of digging and found it well buried. Replaced on the pole side away from the track.

I see the bank is slowly getting destroyed here.

We decided that this one was the last for us today and head back to the car and caravan in the hope that it was finished and we could head back home. Kaniva to Mt Gambier and back to Kaniva in one day, this is not what caravaners are meant to do. SL TFTC
A very hot sunday but with water bottle in hand we made our way down the repurposed railway lands picking up this little trail of caches, also remembering the times we worked down on this corridor, like the new extension more walking opportunities, quick find on this one today

This weekend, I headed to the Limestone Coast / south-east for cave diving, but also to find a few geocaches when time allowed. It was only a quick weekend travelling to Mt Gambier via Bordertown on Friday, and returning Sunday via Millicent and Kingston. I was able to fit in a visit south to Port MacDonnell on Saturday, and a few other small detours around Mt Gambier.
Today, after cave diving just south of Mount Gambier, I elected to use the remainder of my afternoon with visiting Port MacDonnell to complete the *Port Mac* Adventure Lab. I made my way back to Mount Gambier via Wye to then attend the dinner event. A few miscellaneous Mount Gambier geocaches were also visited, in addition to completing the *Mount Gambier War Memorials & Artillery* Adventure Lab.
I only had four remaining *MGRL* geocaches in this series (I guess I had a few more, but they must have gotten retired in the last few months). So in an attempt to finally clean up this series, I drove and walked to a few of these geocaches. A quick find at this location, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@mogni](http://coord.info/PR1NT8Z) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Unloaded my little kick scooter to collect a few caches along the rail trail. Really enjoyed the exercise and the variety of caches to keep me going

A nice quick find after Christmas lunch. Strolled along the recently tarred track, but accessed from the grassy verge, as the asphalt was still a bit gooey. Signed and returned and covered. TFTC
Track has been very recently tarred. The cache was tar sprayed too. Still sticky. Had to access cache from other track as tar too sticky
Easy find on a nice stroll these pensioner legs had to walk abit after collecting to get back on track. Good fun
Quick find here cache is okay
Today I decided to head cache around glencoe and Mount gambier for the day before heading to Millicent for an evening event. Despite the horrible weather I came away with 49finds for the day.

A quick trip to The Mount to visit the vet so Reg could have his stitches and cone removed so took him for a short walk down the rail trail afterwards, before the trip home.
Another quick find with dog in tow.
Thanks

Thanks for another one Mogni.

After three months of traveling being back in the mount also meant, that Nick and I had to complete the railway track as it turned dark last time. The only thing that really scared me here was a huge spider sitting on the Container.

Thanks to mogni for placing the cache for us to find.

Found during a long weekend geocaching around Mt Gambier that saw an entertaining variety of caches and events, some caches as easy finds, others challenging, a few that required a hint from a kindly CO to locate, and one or two failed attempts that will need a return visit for another search! A nice quick find here. Thanks for the cache mogni!
A morning workout as others did the same.

out with the co for a maintenance run on the whole rail trail. Found dodging rain showers on a cold wet day.
Came back a couple of days after finding the other caches as there was a tractor driver cleaning up the area on the Monday, today all was quiet.
Nice co ordinates led to the cache being found and signed and replaced, thanks mogni. TNLN

Accurate coordinates and the name of the cache led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks mogni for the cache and the series.
Great to see the new extension to the rail land walk / bike track !!! TFTC - Dance Laugh Sparkle
Suscoe walked down to the W and made a quick find here.
The grass was dead and being mowed close to the ground made the walk over the way much easier.
Thanks to mogni for this hide.
All good at GZ.

Staying in the Mount overnight for work and after dinner decided to head out for a cache or two. The MGRL was close by and so This was the final target as it was getting dark. Wandered along the track but the GPS wanted me elsewhere so this time I followed. Spotted the obvious spot but could not find anything. Then the GPS went mad and had me wandering around in circles. Put it away and went back to the obvious spot and this time a cache was spotted. Phew. Extracted the log, signed and replaced. Headed back along the track which made it a bit easier. now back to the motel.

Geograndies and I with Belimozan and friend singing going on a cache hunt through the long grass must of looked hysterical to any muggles if there were close enough to hear. Lol. Tftc
Out and about caching the MGRL trail with earthlight, Cabbos and joined by my muggle sister.
Overcast and occasional drizzle with a walk through wet grasses.

Off the track for this one.. Further down the trail we realised why the name of this cache.? Another smiley ticked off.. must be getting close to coffee time.!!?? Thanks mogni
I promised my 4yo grand daughter we would go caching during my visit this weekend...it was getting close to the time I was meant to leave but we managed to get 3 & 1 DNF...
This was to be the final cache find for today...and it was...I carried GD to GZ through the long grass from the track...shortest route ... we quickly located the cache...I had parked some distance away so we got a bit soaked as the rain poured down while returning to the car...I had given my jacket to my GD...she looked a bit like a scarecrow but it kept her a bit drier...
Love the Rail Land extension...
