The cache is building site at the moment. The gate person let be grab the cache and move it outside of the fence.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Tew's day the fifteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. A nice walk along the creek today finding the caches as we went, all the caches found are in good condition hereTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache

I made my way out here to this part of the Federation Trail on this very windy Sunday afternoon to find a few caches. I have been on this trail in the past, having already found a few caches during a previous visit. My plan for the day was to get myself a few more smileys from some of the remaining nearby caches I have yet to find. All in all, I had a fairly successful afternoon finding the caches I intended to, with only one DNF. The previous DNF log had me slightly worried that this cache may not be there and that I would not be able to find it. Fortunately for me, I managed to find it pretty quickly and easily in an expected nearby spot. The cache itself was in good condition, however, the condition of the roadside at GZ could certainly do with a tidy-up.TFTC

We packed the ebikes and headed to the big smoke for a couple of days. While Mr Morris conducted some business, Lady Morris joined the CO and hit the trails. Despite the smells, the blunt pencils and all the works going on - it was a great morning's ride. Thanks for adding the trail Robmc

Spent the morning with Chewinprickes on our deadly treadlies completing a maintenance run on the FT and KCT trails. All caches are now in good condition and ready to be found.Robmc.

The weather looked like it was going to be nice to us today so it was decided to head to the other side of town. We encountered a couple of snakes but they weren't interested in us and slithered off home. Most finds were made although we did have to leave a couple and search for them on the way back and a couple of others seem to be missing. We got a little bamboozled with the tracks but it was a lovely day to be out and about. Thanks for placing all these caches for us to find.

31-Dec-23
It was a lovely day for a scooter ride with Geo-turtle. I encountered tiger snakes on the path twice in different locations, and I had to swerve my scooter to avoid them quickly. Thankfully, I narrowly missed them! Geo-turtle managed to take some photos and a video. I ended up with a pretty bad sunburn by the end of the day. Umm, Melbourne is the best! Robmc, thank you so much for placing this cache in this area for everyone to enjoy.

Todays mission is to grab enough caches to get the solstice souvenir. With that in mind I looked at the map to find a nice cluster of twelve or more with out to much of a walk and somewhere I could park. This little bit of the Federation Trail and Kororoit Creek Trail seemed to fill my requirements and had a plenty of extras if the dreaded DNF occurred. With all that in mind I parked around 2pm and headed off.I guessed the hide here from quite a way back on this one. Things are going well so far for the day hopefully I can keep it with without and DNFsThank you Robmc for the series and the opportunity to get the latest souvenir

I found this cache today on my 35,000 step walk from Sunshine to Laverton via the Kororoit Creek Trail and the Federation Trail. I wanted to at least do the closest 3 NE caches on the FP trail on Divert #5 before turning back the other way towards Laverton. A car parked right next to this one but thankfully, nobody in it. Thanks from D B-A

Have had my eyes on the Federation Trail series of caches for a while so was grateful for the caching opportunity that presented itself today. With SpursNorth in company, we started on Fitzgerald Road and finished the day at Altona Gate shopping centre for a well deserved snack before heading home.

A blustery but mostly pleasant Friday afternoon minus the intermittent unbearable stench along the trail. With thanks to Robmc for placing and maintaining a variety of caches.

Out for the day geocaching with my brother Ketchthor. Some good spots threw out the day and no DNFs which was amazing. TFTC

22-Jul-23
Found it on a fun ride! TFTC

13-Jul-23
such a well chosen spot- yes there’s a fair bit of passing traffic but you’re not required to hunt around looking suspicious- the cache is quickly retrieved and you take a seat on one of the rocks to fill out the log..nothing to see here folks- just an ordinary person having a rest on a rock TFTC

07-Jul-23
Good spot ! Love the dino

02-Jul-23
Quick find on this one, as we were watching the road for approaching traffic before crossing to the next section of the trail.
Always entertained by the signs that look like they have shrunk in the wash!! (Noting that this was from further along the path, but they are endlessly entertaining!!)

Out today to hit the FT trail. A nice quick find in a very traditional hiding spot.

Thanks to Robmc for the cache.

22-Apr-23
Couldn’t find anything - rubbish everywhere

18-Apr-23
We had to give this one a miss on our first run East as GZ was being used as a waiting area for the nearby construction vehicles. Fortunately on our return the coast was clear and we could make the find. Had to be at least 100 ants living in the container who were not impressed at being evicted. TFTC

23-Mar-23
Just as well I came by - on the ground amongst a lot trash. A CITO would yield a mountain! Out and about on trusty treadles on a monster LGA mission targeting Brimbank with a few others on the ‘border’. It’s proved to be a reminder of the pluses and minuses of urban life but very glad FRIENDS of KOROIT are active. TFTC and the incentive to visit!

Just a short walk while we were in the area. Looked for this for a while.

So last night I called up BackPAQer and like you do.. I said lets go find some caches...
so after some debate on which trail we would tackle we decided to FT and KCT track.

So early morning start with two scooter and BackPAQer and myself hit the trails.
Hot day for it considering it is spring.. 33C out there today..

Day started badly with two Did Not Finds in the first three...
But we ended up with 27 Finds and 7 Did Not Finds and picked up a trackable

It was a fun day out and even managed a great lunch and a pint in Yarraville to break up the day.

Thanks to RobMC for the trail. Sorry for the generic logs

Picked up a trackable in this one.

Thanks for the cache and the hide
log book has been signed and returned
