Had a solid fair go at rummaging for cache as no muggles were around. No luck even with clue. Think it may have been removed again.
Lots of DNF and in a gross location, do not want to rummage around a dirty rubbish bin.
Sadly spent a long time trying to find, should’ve checked the activity before hand I think it may have been taken or moved
Looked briefly in the obvious places but couldn't see anything. Too many ppl around to have a good hunt
Searched a few probable places that PositiveTuna and I had suspect a cache could be hidden but no luck today finding this cache. Will go back on the hunt another time with more ideas of where to look.
We had a good look/feel around in the place we thought it should be, but couldn't find it! Understand that it has been replaced though, so will have to come back for another look!
Looks like this could do with a CO check in view of the multiple DNF over the last year. Thanks
TeamBOP are together again after lockdown decided to head to Gisborne for a day trip we have a list of 60 caches to get today. TeamBOP consists of myself, McJandals, Squirrel Nutcase and Fap and Gap. Had an early start of 4am today arriving into Gisborne at 730am. Thanks for all the hides.
Had a good look around under rubbish bin no cache to be found .

With (Mr) Davidson clan, Gap (of Fap and Gap), and McJandals. We planned a Gisborne roadtrip in August to get a jump on the Reach the Peak challenge, but Covid-19 lockdowns stuffed up our plans. As soon as levels allowed for it, our outing was back on the table. Today’s one-day mission meant getting up and away by 4AM…
Had an inkling about the hide location, but nothing there or thereabouts. Lots of DNFs starting to rack up…

Had a good poke around for ages, unfortunately not there for us today. Thanks anyway, hopefully will be back at some other time.
Had a few days in Gisborne holidaying with some friends. We had a great time, enjoyed the local hospitality and found a few caches along the way.

Cache # 4,882 - a reasonably quick find on a beautiful spring day. First find for CelloJoss and myself in Gisborne on my first journey here. TNLNSL. TFTC!
One of 2 in the Botanic Gardens as we went for a stroll. Not many people around but enough we had to be a bit cautious about this one. Thanks!
Another awesome find!! Not sure about the Jam jar though hahaaha currently on a roll tonight this was the 3rd find
Before the showers came again I decided to sign off a couple of caches. This being the second.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Raining. so caching close to car. I did not find this one last time as I never went near the place. I got brave and reached in today after visually identifying the object. Not the most pleasant placement. TFTC!
We are away for a few days on a TMGT tour journey through to Gisborne and back again. After a smash and grab on our last Whakatane Cache, we have had to be happy with a temporary perspex passenger window for the rest of our trip, so not too keen on leaving the car for any length or out of sight caches. Oh dear, really is that where it is.... we found it lol. SL. TFTC.
Found it! Gorgeous gardens! Loved the singing Tui birds and the cute ducks !
In Gisborne for the weekend, nice evening for a walk to find two caches. Thanks Skyuni123 for the cache.
This had been a planned trip in the company of HKCB to Whangarei but as the weather wasn't the best in the north we thought we would bring this trip forward and head over here to see what we could locate as neither of us had done a whole lot around this area.
Leaving home 7pm Friday evening and returning by midnite Saturday, 954kms travelled and approx. 70 caches located along with about 8 DNF's.
Thanks to all the CO's whom have put out these caches for us and completing the maintenance to keep them going.
The start of a new day and after a few hours sleep it was time to see what we could find with the real challenge being the new virtual as that was a primary goal for the trip. With the light up and no rain the day was looking good for a few caches. Had the place to ourselves with the container in hand shortly after arriving at GZ
Thank you for the placement, thanks for the cache.

This weekend had been booked into headed to Whangarei with Cats&Dragons for a bit of caching, but as the weather wasn't looking flash at all, so we decided to head East instead to Gisbourne as we both hadn't done much caching in te area. Leave home about 7pm Friday, and returning home midnight Saturday meant we got a fair bit of caching time in for the limited time we had. All up we found just under 70 caches in total, so a big thanks for all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches we found on this trip.
Soon had this one in hand.

Today we made a trip from Gisborne via Opitiki to Whakatane, again at least at the end on the route of the Pacific Coast Highway, thereby visiting many new sightseeing locations and looking for caches, too. On this trip we searched, found and logged a lot of caches. The weather was very good all day long, a bit colder in the morning but it got warmer in the afternoon. Funny clouds were our compagnions especially in the afternoon.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had other things to do than observing harmless geocachers.
Thanks to Skyuni123 for showing us this location and for the fun we had at MM #1: Creature From (Near) the Black Lagoon. The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

This was a quick find
I spend some hours walking around in Gisborne. I found 12 caches on different beautiful places. Great way to get to know a city. Another 3 caches I searched for but did not find. Tomorrow I am heading for Palmerston North visiting my brother. Thanks to all co for each and every cache

Decided that since I had an extra day off work I would come up to Gisborne and visit family as I was in the Hawkes Bay for work and it wasnt too far to travel the extra distance and it also gave me the chance to pick up a few caches in this lovely community.
After a DNF on GC5JDT3 - Bus Stop 59 (Gisborne), I decided that it was time to move on to another cache and decided that I would go and attempt my next nearest cache. As I was driving towards GZ I was surprise how Gisborne has changed but still remained the same.
The drive to near GZ really didnt take too long and I was soon near GZ, I decided that I would park on the road and walk to GZ as it was less than 50 metres walk, so this wasnt going to be too hard. The walk to GZ was very pleasant and as I neared GZ I took a few seconds to make sure the area was clear before dropping down to look for the cache.
Was very surprise how quickly I was able to find this cache, and the size of the cache, managed to retrieve it without any issue, signed and then replaced it back as found, well that was impressive, how can a cache of this size not get muggled, well must be because of the surrounds.
Well that was fun, thanks Skyuni123 for placing this cache here and for bringing me back to this spot that I havent being to for quite a while, TFTC TNLNSL (13173). Now to go and see if I can find a few more caches.

There was no one about today as the rain started so I did not have to worry about being seen. A quick search around the obvious place, found, signed and replaced. This is probably my last cache in Gisborne as I head back to Canada this week. TFTC
Happy that the muggles weren't in this particular area this afternoon... made looking for the cache really easy. Quickly spotted, signed and returned. TFTC
With this being a very wet day there were no muggles around, so the cache was brought to light very quickly. All duties were completed before we moved on again, including the signing if the log. Thanks for this cache go to Skyuni123, from a couple of Aussie travellers.
In Gisborne for my first work trip to the area for the year. Nice to see some new caches published since my last trip in November last year. Usually when I arrive in Gisborne, I have an evening meeting so today it was quite a change to arrive and have a free evening ahead of me. What to do, what to do? A bit of caching of course!
Walked down to the black lagoon and spotted the likely host. Not a big fan of hides using these hosts, not the most hygienic of spots to put your hands around.
Knelt down and spotted the cache straight away. If this is the same type of hide/container as the COs other recent hide Oceanic, then the CO might want to check Oceanic as I couldn’t find it earlier.

Thanks for the new cache. Been away for a few days so we were surprised it still hadn't been found. Great camouflage. TFTC
