The unfortunate deforestation that has occurred in the attempt to concrete the rail trail has resulted in the misplacement of this cache, and until construction has finished and the surrounding nature has had time to bounce back from the construction I don't feel the need to bring people to this location.
It's a real kiddies paradise here. This cache has more great swaps. Thanks for taking me to this great path and for the fantastic caches here.

Tuesday. Another cache we decided to stop and pick up today. Mr SP decided to see how good the new car could go when pulling off the side of the road here. There were a few cars right up our clacker so there was a fair bit of dust behind us by the time we pulled up. Don’t open up those doors just yet Straight through the long grass and saw the obvious spot for a cache quickly. Ah! There’s a nice path right there Back through the grass we go – more fun that way. Thanks for the well stocked cache container.
This was the 2nd of 6 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Miss_Direction***, for showing us this place.

Quick find today dobtge last one on our stroll before heading back to the car before those dark looming clouds open up. Tftc
Decided to head out for a few finds after a bit of time away from caching. Nice to get out even if the weather was a bit yuck. Quick find and replaced it back in it's hiding space. TFTF

A fine Autumn day for a drive around Moodlu and out to Wamuran.
Not that many muggles around here today and many good safe hides.

Yesterday I spent the day caching around Kilcoy. This morning I was taking a slow drive back to Brisbane airport finding a few caches along the way. I parked close to the track entrance and wandered along to GZ. No problems with the good sized cache here. TFTC, Biggles.
Parked in County Drive and set off on a walk for couple of kilometres to find the 4 caches along this stretch. This time the nicely designed signal posts indicated that this had been a rail track. It was very hot so I walked fast in the sun then slowed down in the shade to spend more time in it. This a fair size cache in a safe location off the track after making a bit of a scramble up and down the slope through some long grass.

Out after school drop off looking to collect a few numbers.
Started in a small circle around home, eliminating those I have not gone chasing after.
This was number 4 for the day.
Easy enough find, started walking down toward next cache when saw a snake in the grass. That's enough of the country hiking for me for one day!
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache. My daughter and I set out to find the multi nearby but had a difference of opinion to where the compass was pointing. Oh well, we found a cache, yay!
These old railway lines make great bike paths. Looks like the authorities could be sealing this section soon. I made a quick find as the cache was visible on approach. Kinda head to keep them covered with leaf litter in this dry weather. TN/LN/TFTC
Just off the highway, based at the bottom of tree.

First one on the list today. Chatted to some cops who were looking for a runaway kiddo, then headed down the trail. Spotted and moseyed onwards, thanks!

Out caching with Di Morgan on this beautiful sunny afternoon. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Nice location. Thanks Miss_Direction.
Today I headed out to see if I could finish off the current souvenir hunt. Only 12 more to go for the World Turtle!
I parked near Sister Act, then took the walk to Make a Wish, then all the way to this one and back to the car, a very leisurely wander of about 1.5km.
I felt very conspicuous here, but a read of the Description allayed those fears! A bit of an up and the cache was in hand. TFTC, Miss_Direction.

tftc. lovely walking track, csnt wait to see what they do with it in the next few years
Took lucky geodog for a different walk this time, all so I could find this cache. Easily located, signed and replaced hidden. TFTC
It was decided reasonably early today that we would drag our weary tortured bodies out into the sunshine & fresh air to ease the frustration the VCs were experiencing from being virtually under home detention for the past 7 weeks (with considerably more to follow) as a result of injuries & ailments recently received/diagnosed! LOL ...
Having met Miss_Direction not too long ago & realising there were now quite a few new caches on offer we decided to 'test the waters' around Wamuran/Caboolture today.
As is usual for us we seem to have taken the 'longest' approach to GZ. LOL …
Knee-length, slippery wet grass made access interesting but I was soon looking at the object of our short search here.
TNLNSL & replaced as found.
Now to see if we can pull back onto the road without sliding down the slope!
Fired up the beast & exited stage right with only a little 'slippage'.
Sorry about the wheel tracks.

We can across your cache, Miss_Direction, after completing some QOGM business in Morayfield earlier today.
We were able to park safely on the side of the highway and walk cross the not too long grass to GZ. Nice quick find. Now its time to get back home.
Log singed and replaced at 3:09 p.m. on 26 June 2018. TFTC.

With my son onboard for today's mission, I knew that I had to include some caches that required something more than a drive-by. I was happy that some caches have been placed on this rail trail and so we parked on County Drive and on a very cool morning set sail. I still had half a coffee on the go and so I took it knowing full well I would be walking most of the way with an empty cup. Some cachers (mainly just me) would consider an empty cup as swag to be put in a cache but I have to go with the general consensus sometimes, even if everyone else is wrong.
Closing in we saw the only location a cache could be and so I sent my son in to grab it. There was no way I was going to risk losing the little bit of coffee I had left. My wife and I could see it so it was fun watching our son's paltry attempt at looking on the wrong side of the tree.
We cracked out the stamp and added our name to the log, keeping an eye out for any ghost trains in the area. The only thing scarier than a ghost train is a ghost ticket inspector so it was lucky we were armed with ugly faces to scare them away. tftc

While staying near Caboolture for a little while. we thought we would go out today and do a bit of cache hunting. Just picked a selection and headed off. We found all that we looked for and soon had our name written on each log.
This cache was located right at the co-ordinates and was quickly and easily found.
Thank you to Miss_Direction for this cache placement.

2011, One of the rarest rock t-shirts in the world sold for $10,000 (£6096.00), the largest sum ever paid for a vintage t-shirt. The record-setting sale of a 1979 Led Zeppelin t-shirt on eBay was sold by Kyle Ermatinger of Stormcrow Vintage. The recent completion of the transaction placed the purchase as the world's rarest and most expensive vintage t-shirt.

Stortigirls and I enjoyed another walk along the tracks to this cache. At GZ, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Another nice stroll along the track rewarded with a quick find. We enjoyed our surroundings and spotting the remains of the old tracks. Tftc Miss_Direction
We drove down the track to GZ - lazy aren't we! Took two TB's from the cache and dropped off one.
Cache wasn’t where it should have been - found it up in the grass and the container camo is chewed - maybe an animal tried to access the inside?. Nice to all - must do the whole walk one day soon. Tftc

Today my old mate Konie and I decided to go and attack a few caches in the area. So we jumped into the infamous “Red Outlander” and powered off down the Steve Irwin Way toward our target area.
Once we arrived nearby it was only a short stroll to GZ, and after a little search soon had the log book in hand.
Once signed everything was replaced exactly as we found and then headed off to the next one.

I’ve always wanted to ride the length of this trail, but I’ll wait now till it’s done.
Later in the day we saw a section they are already working on.
The cache was quickly located and signed and we were out of there quick as a flash and on to the next one.

Having grabbed the other caches in from here, we headed back towards the main road and then took a quick detour down the track to make a quick find at GZ. It was only afterwards NyssaFlutterby noticed this was right near the CO's house, otherwise we may have peeked across and waved.
Thanks for the cache Miss_Direction.
