Have tried before. Hint is too vague to know if it is there a gz i am just not seeing it. Lots of lomandra and fallen logs. Or could be hidden in our behind Looked low and looked for hanging at gz. On both sides of the path.
Had a good look around including under leaf litter and base of trees but thats a DNF for me today
Didnt see any butterflies but I did find the cache out in the open and not near a fallen tree as mentioned in the previous log. I wasnt sure where it was meant to go so I placed it next to a tree and placed leaf litter over it. Thanks for the hide!
Came back to redeem our DNF. Got it pretty much straight away. Great start to the day . For reference, the cache is not at coords but close, it is on the side of the path furthest from the road near a fallen tree. Best of luck fellow cachers.
Mrs Woodyrothwell and I found ourselves in the middle of the path ready to dive into some plants. Sometimes you are just ready to get itchy fondling the greenery and other times you just have a token look and move on. Today I was in the mood to qualify for a horticultural degree and had even bought my shovel.
The only way my wife will have a green thumb is if she sticks it in a cucumber. She went straight for the old logs and thankfully she did because I would have wiped a few plants off the species list searching in the wrong spot.
The best hint was in the most recent found log and also gave me the chance to click the “Helpful” link. We moved a bit further off the path before we spied the hide. tftc

First cache of our day unfortunately having to move on after searching for half an hour.
Shazzar66 and I had planned to hit the caches at Central Lakes and Bellmere this afternoon. The two caches over the road here weren’t, for some unknown reason, on our list, but we couldn’t just leave two of caches without smileys, so we headed across and parked here.
We looked around GZ, but couldn’t find anything, so resorted to reading some logs. The cache was found further in, thanks to a previous finder’s log. Signed ShaDup.
Thanks Waz and Vik for the cache

I finished up work early today and as there was an evening meeting planned, I decided to head up and grab a few caches in the area beforehand.
I had been out here yesterday for the tree climb, I saw these two caches sitting on my map. As time did not allow us then I was back today to find these.
This one I did while I was out doing an adventure lab, nice easy find and the hint was a help.
I signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the hide and the cache placements.

Having dropped the partner at the airport at stupid o’clock I had a couple of hours to cache before work…
A chance to avenge my DNF… and using Clif5009’s log as a reference concentrated my search at shoulder height-ish and ended up further into the foliage than Geepers wanted me…
Thanks Waz and Vik
For a path that goes nowhere, it certainly is busy in here…

Thanks to the previous finder’s explanation of where he hid the cache, we were able to find it today as it has narrowed down our options. We needed to get a little further in from where the GPS indicated but there it was in the crack in the trunk. Thanks Waz and Vik
Thanks to the previous finder’s log we were able to locate this cache after a little bit of a search. All good. TFTC
Have been here last year, but with no luck, today had some time to fill in before visit with geoson, was not a quick find, but did locate the preform lying on ground at base of a tree, so stamped my sign, and replaced about shoulder height above spot, in a crack in the tree, next finder could maybe bring some thin wire to really attatch cache
otherwise all is in good condition here, Thanks Waz and Vik

A chance to do a bit of blanket caching around Caboolture…
My first DNF of the day, but not my last… I spent about 20 minutes trying to concentrate on where Geepers wanted me (with some bounce) but failed to find anything of interest…
Another day then….

Spent a lot of time looking in trees around GZ as per previous cacher's notes where they put it but to no avail.
Waz and Vik I found your cache Butterfly Alley on 31/8/2022, 10:10 am. This is my find 4040 and find # 1 today. GPSr was all over the place. Eventually found it on the ground. Replaced it in a tree. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
After grabbing a coffee Alycem89, YouTubemouseboy and myself decided to stay in the area and grab some caches despite the rain.
It took us sometime to find this one, as we search everywhere thoroughly with no joy. We were about to call it quits when I noticed a container of sorts poking out from some undergrowth, I went over to expect it and sure enough it was the cache we were looking for. Unfortunately I wasn’t sure were I had to place it so I popped it at the bottom of a tree and contacted the CO.
The CO responded to me and notified me that they have replaced the cache back to its intended hiding location.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Me and my family had gone caching when we found this. It didnt quite look like the picture though.TFTC!!!
We were a little confused when we found this cache as previous picture led us to believe it was something different until we realised it was just a deceptive photo.

We looked around in circles and used all the clues we could but the rain ended up getting the best of us. Will be bacl on a dryer day to give it another go.
had a few hours to spare so decided to come here with my push bike and find a few caches. i ended up finding 11 and a 13 km bike ride. What a beautiful path this is . I was glad I had my mountain bike today. At gz I used the hint to narrow down the search but it still took quite a few looks in wrong places before I found it. thanks for taking me to this lovely path. I saw a few butterflies on my ride. Thanks for the fun
After an exhausting week at work due to the end/beginning of the financial year, I was chomping at the bit to get outside today into some fresh air and hunt down a few caches. Couldn't have picked a better day for it, it was certainly Goldilocks weather - not too hot and not too cold, even with the wind blowing. Although the main reason for my trip over this side of town was a bust, I did pick up quite a few others including this one.
This cache was not actually on my to-do list today but I realised I would be walking right past it on the way to another so I called in along the way. I wandered around in circles for a while before resorting to the logs where some further information changed the way I was hunting. Still not a quick find even then, but finally spotted it much to my relief. A few butterflies flitting around the area today. TFTC

Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. Waz and Vik TFTC *533* streak. *3138* Finds
After two dnfs, we discovered today that the stump and cache had been destroyed. New cache has been added, it is tethered to a tree approx three metres away from the stump.
My second visit. Despite having instructions from the CO, this cache still proves elusive to me. Another DNF. Maybe I was only having a girl look.....???!!!???
Another day..................
Another day..................
After a very long search, I have to admit defeat and record a DNF.

Found it on our vacation together with my brother, Aussie Vikings, that lives in Caboolture.

It’s my second time here and I must have been suffering from cache blindness. It was a quick find today. Tftc.
Swooped on Caboolture today chasing green boxes ... my afternoon walk today will take me a few kms up and back on this track. First up here, and no worries getting started.
Thanks Waz and Vik for entertaining me at this location.

Took me way too long and was on fourth dig in likely spot that had first attracted me that the cache eventually revealed itself ! Good hide! No butterflies today ️
Parked close and hopped of the fence which had been pushed down. Found on our run picking up gems for Mystery at the Museum. TFTC
Decided to take the kids and dog out for a walk this morning. We haven't done this walk in a very long time and the last time the was only one cache along this walk! Imagine the kids excitement when we saw 5 small aircraft coming in to land at the airfield close by. That in itself was worth the walk.
This was the first find for our walk. We didn't see butterfly's but there was plenty of bird life around. This was a quick find for us and we soon had it signed and returned to be on our way to the next one. TFTF

Wednesday. Mr SP was on his own after dropping Mrs SP off. Wow, talk about making life hard for yourself. The clue and my geosenses made it obvious where the hide was, but could I find it? I eventually found it, right where I had been, - waaah! [xx(]
This was the 7th of 7 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Waz and Vik***, for showing us this place.

I'm catching up on logging today, so sorry for the generic logs . Today I was out caching with barbbowman and Net88 in the Moreton Bay Council area, starting in Warner, heading to Caboolture and then finishing up in Burpengary. Phew, it was a busy day - I ended up finding 18 caches . Thank you to each of the wonderful COs for placing and maintaining these caches and providing us with a great day filled with finds and friendship
I very rarely go caching but decided to head out with Barbbowman and Rio today. This was our fourteenth find for the day. As Rio parked the car we headed over to GZ the direct way, no long paths for us. Not when the fence was only a foot off the ground. Today I had one of those long groan moments you get when someone makes a really bad joke. Barb and her me-wire joke had me wondering if my whole life had been a giant mistake leading me up to this moment of horrible joke hearing. Regardless we trudged on and soon had the cache found. Thanks for the cache Waz and Vik
out with rio and net today
I have a plan … follow the trail to the multi and then wing it lol
I don't like butterflies
but I do like me-wire
thankfully approached from the side to find the later

While staying at Elimbah we ventured out and found this cache. Loved the creative hides. Thankyou Waz and Vik for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
A pleasant walk with the dog this morning and a quick find. Thanks Waz and Vic.
After a morning on the water in the kayak, stortigirls and i decided to continue the fun on dry land. There were a few new caches out in this area, so we headed here. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Selva Girls and I were out on a caching adventure day today, collecting some smilies from this previously cleared area. We had enough light left to collect these two stray caches, so we parked the geomobile and took a stroll through nature. This cache was a quick find once the muggle jogger passed us. We added our names to the log and then continued on for our last cache of the day. Tftc Waz and Vik
First looked on wrong side of track, then stopped and looked around and saw an obvious hiding spot. TFTC
GPS playing with me today so sat down and read previous logs and even though I was ‘40’ out - managed a find. Tftc
TFTC smile 3430 out and about with miss millie geodog on this lovely day we had our lunch sitting on the lovely side of the road as they dont place enough parking spaces in these new subdivisions then walked to all the caches along this walk way Thank you for placing this cache here for our enjoyment
Unfortunately no butterflies today but Jelly the Wonderdog and I created a smiley instead.
Thanks for the cache Waz and Vik

A blank spot on the calendar, so I made this cache fit in with some errands I had to do. Found in the first place I looked but not the first time I looked!
After finding Snails Pace we came back for another look on our way to the car and found it quickly in one of the obvious spots that we had previously checked.

Found on a Sunny Wednesday morning. 4° celcius at home. What would possess us to go outside.... a geocache.. found with my amazing Geo-Wife KaleidoscopeCass and those no gooder VeganCachers... oh wait.. vegan... ha! So are we... all is good. Cache found. Log signed.. no vegan cooties left. Tftc
A late exchange of messages last night soon had the 'Vegans' on patrol today! LOL ...
WallabyTim & KaleidoscopeCass teamed up with Vegan Cachers (& Winter the Geo-cat) & after a quick internet search we came up with an area, as yet relatively untouched by all, for us to invade today collecting smilies, sharing great company & spreading the word! .
Our eleventh cache for today.
Another quick find here.
WT, KC & Mr VC headed in for a short stroll & it was WT who made the grab.
Made our marks & replaced as found.

What a lovely walking track for locals (and geocachers!) to enjoy. Geo-hubby WallabyTim, Dennis from Vegan Cachers and I enjoyed the brief walk in while Mrs VC Linda patiently waited in the car planning our next couple of stops, especially looking for which cache was going to be #500 for me. WT made the find and all signed before heading onto the next smiley for the day. TFTC
Up at Caboolture for a 40th being held at the historical village so decided to grab a couple of cache whilst there. I chose the caches on this little walk so that we could get some exercize, see the lovely waterway and warm up! Thanks for placing this cache in such a pretty spot. Found quickly.
Quick little look in the bushes while not letting the muggles see me...
There it is. Signed and returned to hiding spot.
Cache is in good condition. Thanks for this one

I had been for a paddle out in Pumicestone Passage with IolantheK. We had refueled and this little series was the nearest spot that we both had an unfound cache. I had lots. IolantheK only had the one to find.
We did not see butterflies today. Probably too cold and windy for them. A pleasant walk alongside the lagoon anyway.

After grabbing a subway breakfast roll we headed off again. Short walk and cache in hand. Tftc
Fun find down a lovely trail with 3 other geos just after it on the same trail. Very fun!
I'm out with Nurseyjulie for a few hours today and we've come to the Caboolture area as we both have plenty of caches to find here.
I've walked down this path a couple of times for caches, but this one was perhaps the shortest walk! A quick find in the obvious spot, and we did see one black and white butterfly [^] TFTC, Waz and Vik.

A cache that was just where you would expect it to be so quickly signed the log as it was starting to rain. Replaced cache as found and the rain stopped. TFTC
This was a quick find today. We didn't see many butterflies just a big spider web and fair bit of dog poo. At GZ we found the hide easily. TNLNSL TFTC
