This was the only cache along this path that I had on my to-do list for today, but I was able to pick up a couple of additional ones along the way to top up the days tally.' My phone decided to play nicely at GZ and led me close enough to the cache hiding spot that the guardian and cache were soon spotted. TFTC

A short search was required due to inconsistent GPS readings. It just wouldn't settle!!
Then the cache companion/guardian was spotted. Very cute!!!!

This one was a nit hard to get too as on otherside of waterway to us. Got there in a roundabout manner. Lost signal and took a few goes to find. Saw the guardian and cache hiding behind tree.

Decided to take the kids and dog out for a walk this morning. We haven't done this walk in a very long time and the last time the was only one cache along this walk! Imagine the kids excitement when we saw 5 small aircraft coming in to land at the airfield close by. That in itself was worth the walk.
This was our second find for our walk and it was just as a quick sun shower came over. We retreated to the cover of the trees and took on the search for the cache. The mozzies found us first but then we found what we were looking for. Our youngest daughter was most excited about the guardian TFTF

Out for a bike ride, to find one cache and to do maintenance on some of mine.
34km bike ride all up!
I had to paf for a hint for this one as I started freaking myself out about being in here alone. I hadn’t looked there as my arrow was pointing me to the other side. Neither of my pens would write properly on the log paper so the Scribbly black pen mark is mine.

Selva Girls and I were out on a caching adventure day today, collecting some smilies from this previously cleared area. We had enough light left to collect these two stray caches, so we parked the geomobile and took a stroll through nature. We collected the first smilie and continued on here to gz, searching for a bit longer than we should have as the gps took a while to settle. After moving something I thought we'd already moved, the little guardian appeared and we added our names to the log before making the brisk walk back to the car before dark. Out with Jelly the Wonderdog, enjoying the track. Happily still no axe murderers Razz Sorry, had to throw that in for a friend.

We arrived at Gz and while I tried to find the cache Jelly sniffed a few plants and stuff. Eventually after looking on the side of the path away from the creek I spied the cute beasty. Left some scribble and replaced as found.

Thanks for the cache Waz and Vik Big Grin

Good morning.
A walk along he path today (coolish at 8 degrees, so did not keep to the pace suggested by the cache). Got to GZ, and figured out where this might be...
Cache and log in good condition.
Logged and wandered back on out along the path, stopping to pat a dog (out with owner) along the way! Thanks for the cache.

Up at Caboolture for the day for a 40th birthday and decided to grab a couple of caches before hand. We didn't have a lot of time, but this little walk looked interesting. It didn't disappoint. The walk was beautiful and certainly we were warm by the time we got to this cache - it was freezing to start! Now we knew what we were looking for (guesswork) .... just had to find where. Mr EMC came up with the goods for us. Thankfully didn't take us too long. A fp from me for the cute cache container! TFTC.

Out and about with teamdfl again today Big Grin

We had a paddle on Pumicestone Passage this morning, and after a refuel at our usual watering hole, I suggested the walk out to get this cache sorted. My buddy would also get 3 other caches along the way so we soon found ourselves parking on Baptista Circuit. A couple of easy pick-ups for her then we arrived at this one's GZ. The numbers took me to the right spot first up, but I missed the hide, and we searched elsewhere for a couple of minutes before I went back for a better look and made the find. I was hoping the container would be something like that! TFTC, Waz and Vik.

This one took us a little while to find. We were almost in the right spot to start with, but missed it. Bigger circles. No real obvious hiding spots . Back to the first place and IolantheK spies it. Cool

A free afternoon gave me the opportunity to find some newer caches which have been recently published between Caboolture and Bellthorpe.

Went for the walk along a very familar path, this must be the 3rd time I've taken a wander for a cache along here. Nearing GZ my GPS went flat and I had trouble locating anything. Eventually I circled back and the cute guy was located.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache **Waz and Vik**, this makes Smile #4823. Discover our TB

A nice long stroll to this cache.
Did actually see a black and white butterfly.
Heard the parrots coming in to roost but mostly heard the traffic on the highway.
Had been down this trail a few times before.
Arrived at GZ for a nice quick find.
Took photo of this one.
Signed the log and returned to where I found it.

We had just finished our dinner and sat down to relax Big Grin when we noticed a few new caches had just been published which were so, so close to home Razz Now do we or don't we bother to rush out to try for an {FTF}? Well it has been a very long time since we had made a dash out the door all in the name of a cache, but what the heck, Mrs Just a Trifle needs the exercise anyway Surprised

When we arrived at the start of the walking track there was a car already parked there and we were worried it may have been another FTF hunter Sad but our concerns were alleviated on finding a clean log sheet at the first new cache along this path Smile

As we were walking (or was that sprinting) along the track, we lamented the fact that we were perhaps missing out on a great opportunity to experience the area we were walking through during the night Sad although at night time, you do get to see the bright eyes of spiders and other animals Surprised We then remembered there was still another cache right at the end of the track that we had not yet taken the time to search for ... we can leave that one for another day and come out again during daylight hours to see what we had missed Razz

On arriving at ground zero, the GPSr didn't really want to settle, sending us around in circles so we eventually decided to just go at our best guess. It didn't take long before Mr Just a Trifle located the cache Smile and we added our name to the log. Now there was something already written on the log sheet Surprised although we're not sure if it was from another FTF finder as it was not dated, but we did pass someone along the track walking their dog. I suppose we will soon see.

Thank you Waz and Vik for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy [^]
