Nice little cemetery with surprisingly recent deaths. But no luck today. A load of garbage, but no cache
11:53:00 AM. Pasted this cache so many times but today we didn't have the caravan in tow so pulled in. A quick park and grab. Log signed. Thanks for the cache Miss_Direction.
Looking in the wrong place to start with but when the coords settle we found the cache, a fave for this one.
We found it not in the cemetery right outside of it. Not very small and we found it quick but it was cool finding it as it was the first one we ever found. Hint: fence.
Do love a resting place cache, the history here is so emotional. Beautiful little cemetery being watched over by a cute little guardian. TFTC TNLNSL. All is well here.
On my way up the coast and had to stop for a quick phone meeting. Nice cool spot under a tree at gz and then a quick find after the meeting concluded. Amazingly this place is tucked away from view but still appears to be wonderfully maintained. TFTC and for highlighting this place
Easy find, cute cache guardian.
Up this way for work, time to fill before starting. Beautiful location, lovely and peaceful, if you ignore traffic screaming past on road.

We have been staying at a campground very close by to this location.
Having seen there was a geocache here, we decided as we left the campground on the last day of our time here to come via the cemetery and collect this one.
A smiley on a map often helps to pinpoint when and where one was at a given time.
With accurate coordinates, we were able to park very close to GZ and spotted the quirky hide upon arrival.
We have added our name to the log, as we noted that we have visited so many cemeteries over the years, almost always in relation to Geocaching.
Thanks Miss_Direction

No curlews today and I was a bit concerned that they might have taken the cache away with them. Easily found the guardian but the bison tube was missing from its resting place. Searched around the area but couldn't find it. I was getting ready to provide photographic evidence of the find when I spotted something shining on the side of the hiding place. Yep, the bison tube was there hanging from a bit of barbed wire at the side of the cavity. Signed the log and replaced the tube where it obviously fits. Thanks Miss Direction.
Wow and we found two beautiful curlews hiding out right at the site! Wasn't sure if they were the cache as they were so still!
Startled a pair of curlews at GZ.
Barbed wire about here to take care. Very well maintained cemetery.
Thanks

#9, late start due to a change of plans and caching areas. Quick find. Love this container. TFTC, TFTH, TNLNSL & TFT.
Driving from Gatton to Sunshine Coast through Kilroy was the plan today. Hopefully collecting a few of the rose caches as well as some high favourite caches on the way.
I didn’t get as many of the rose caches as I would have liked but certainly made up for that with a number of other caches. Some very very cleaver caches that have given inspiration.
Tftc.
Brilliant little cache - works so well with the name and location.

My uncle Byron is buried here, it's so nice to come say hi to him, and find this.
I must admit the cache guardian gave me quite a fright!
The logbook is a bit disintegrated, but filled in our names all the same

I was in the area today and thought I would grab this one. Nice little hiding spot and an easy find. The cache is in good condition but the log book needs replacing as it is very full and falling apart. TFTC.
Miss_Direction I found your cache Praying to Loved Ones on 12/6/2022, 10:00 am. This is my find 3495 and find # 1 today. A quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Made me jump and that made the Princess jump... TFTC... cheers and thanx from the Jester-kiwi and the Princess
TUFTC. Made my geostepdad explore a potential location first as I was already uneasy because of the cemetery. He found the guardian but it scared him which scared me. Not too stealthy and it would have been funny for anyone else in the area. Lucky for us, there was not another living soul.
50th find on the Thommo Road Trip 2022. TFTC!
That container scared the crap out of me at first!

Election Day Saturday as there is a lot of rain, we decided to mainly do AL.
Before mid day the rain became too consistant & we called it a day. We did manage to take a good drive around the coastal area.
We were praying that it would stop raining today, but our prayers were ignored.
Thankyou Miss_Direction for placing this cache.

TFTC.. Oh the things that we do to get a smiley the weather had eased a little and I decided to go out to the cemetery to find a cache. About halfway to the cemetery the heavens opened up again and by the time I got to GZ it was absolutely pouring. Not deterred a quick find wading through some floodwater around GZ. Took the cache back to the car to sign and then into the rain again to return.
Nice quick stop to look for this one, whole area nearly flooded around GZ but that didn't deter me in the least.
Cute hide, thanks CO, well done.

Aww sick.
My literally expression of words that came out of my mouth when I found it, on my way home.
3 days someone lived then died. Geez
1936 was the oldest grave I saw .. maybe not the oldest here ...

With my brother still to visit i didn't linger long here, instead making a quick find then took it back to the shade for a sign and photo before replacing.
Thanks miss_direction for the cemetary cache.

Quick find by Peppa. Out with PirateLinda and Peppa and abeck58. Met one of the locals out feeding the birds.
Second find for the day while out with PirateLinda, Giraffe18 and abeck58… while the others distracted a bird feeding local I went after the cache… a nice quick find of this cute container… tftc…
1MinnieMoo were in the area when she remembered this cache. I hadn't gotten it yet, so we made a slight detour for it.
Well I can safely say I wasn't aware this was here. We pulled up in the nice area and I made my way toward the cache. I thought I could see the container while I was still in the car. Well - no - I couldn't. But I was in the right area.
I soon bought the pray-beastie to light and signed the log. The log was a tiny bit tatty - but still in good condition. A great little place to visit. TFTC Miss_Direction

After visiting the nearby large cache Mr CNQ stopped in here as well, picking up a couple more on the way from Bribie Is to Charters Towers via Biloela today. Quick find, neat little cache thanks Miss Direction.
Heading north to attend an CITO at Nambour and had to collect a cache or 2 along the way. Quick easy find and the cache guardian is still looking after it. Maybe he thinks one of the nearby residents might take it. Signed log, replaced cache as found and headed off. TFTC
It's very quiet here at 06:14 . Accurate coordinates made this an easy find . All's good at gz . Thanks Miss _ Direction
Geokids on school holidays so I am breaking up the day with a quick stop to find this one. Was in the first place I looked and it scared the youngest geokid thinking it was real..... TFTC

A quiet (for me) week off work so far, and so Crew153 and the mighty Geofalcon offered to get me out up this way and about for the day. No issues here - there's roadworks and a muggle in a truck seemingly permanently parked all but on top of GZ, but not exactly so we could wonder past checking out the gravestones and surreptitiously retrieved (cute), sign and replace our apt target. No issues at all.
Thanks Miss_Direction for entertaining me at this location.

Pprime and I took a day trip around loop from Beerburrum, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford to find the caches in the area.
As we approached we were concerned that there was roadworks in the area but we found that the area around the cache has not been impacted. There was a truck parked close to the search area so we had to park further away and stroll past him to get to the cache. Nonchalantly, we retried the cache and signed the log without him glancing our way.

A cemetery cache to start my day! Could not be happier. What a gorgeous spot and a cute cache guardian! TFTC
Finding any time leading up to xmas is problematic. The best time is early morning before the muggles arise and the Bruce becomes a car park. Didn't have the time to pray last week so the day started here. Found a few bogus containers including a snorkel before finding an appropriate container attached to a friend. Thanks for setting up this cache Miss_Direction in a spot I didn't know existed.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC Miss Direction *318* streak. *1986* Find
Lots of roadworks happening right out front , but it’s still accessible.
All good at this one. Log signed and put back
