Accompany with Groot-1983. What fantastic weather today! It feels warm. Thanks to ALL7 for taking us to Braidwood town for some caches. Excellent, enjoyed the day, and here lovely spotted, sign the log by the stamp of us. TFTC
Beautiful day out with the team. Quick find on our way through in a lovely garden/park. TFTC Kittykatch!
A great day out in Braidwood and surrounds. This was a nice straightforward find at GZ; all good with cache and log. Thanks, Kittykatch!
Day 22 of my interstate trip. Today I packed up and left Bateman's Bay and finally made my way to Canberra where I will be staying for 3 nights. I managed to find 11 caches today and only 1 DNF.My first cache find in the Braidwood area. TFTC Kittykatch
Found on a weekend away with the geo wife! How nice is Braidwood! Thanks for the adventure.
Cooma to BraidwoodStopped for a couple of caches along the road where suitable with a caravan on.Now at Braidwood we are camped near the golf club. A nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks Kittykatch for hiding this cache.
Ftf the updated cache and log.It wasn't at catcher level, unless your a 2cm hight catcher. Re adjusted it a little higher. I hope you don't mind.Tftc.
Cache disabled until I can check on it. I am heading to the coast in mid-January and will check on it then
local spotted me as I was rumaging around. He said that the cache has been missing for some time now and let me know where it should be. He said that a fair amount of people come by to look for it and he thinks that some of the local kids have taken it. Cache owner attention requested please
Whaaaaa! 2DNFs in a row. I’ve lost my touch. Didn’t know ant to disturb the wasp baits
For some reason this one evaded us but will be back another time for the Dojo Bakery plus cache cluster!
Started the day in Canberra today driving through to Batemans bay and then up to Wollongong for the night stop over. 12 hours on the road and a bunch of Geocaches found. Thanks to the COs for placing for mine and alls enjoyment. Wow it gets dark early over here!
Homebound after spending a week fishing Tangtangra for trout then Bermagui for flathead. Not a lot of fish caught on this trip due to bad weather, made a lot more time for caching. Heading home via Batemans bay then onto the Kings Hwy to end up on the Hume, hoping the flooding doesn't affect to much of my route. Lots of caches targeted along the way.
My 2nd visit to Braidwood. A lovely historic town. Wanted to grab a cache or 2 while passing through, this being one of them. GPS was a bit bouncy here lots of potential hiding spots. Ended up putting the tech away and just looked, once then cache was soon found.
Tftc!

I wasn't really sure whether I'd get away for this caching trip, but in the end I bit the bullet and headed out for a few days through the southern NSW countryside. The roads were a minefield of potholes, fuel prices were off the chart and nearly every cache had some form of water damage from the recent big wet but that didnt detract from the fun.
Thanks to all the CO's for contributing to my caching finds on this 2-day trip. Apologises for not writing something unique about each find. TFTC

TFTC a nice quick find and I wasn’t bowled out or over. Love the camo. That’s it for me today. Braving it and going back to camp where my husband and I are the odd ones out. We are staying at Warri Bridge for a few nights. Usually a lovely place. Off to Bungendore tomorrow. I’ll give you a favourite.
Cache maintenance. Checked on container. Yes kids have made a cubby in here. Log sheet placed in bison tube and container rehidden.
It was a day out and about Bungendore and Braidwood with the FFLL ladies and the ladies picked the best day to do it. It was a warm day with the sun shining and our main target was to get some multi's under our belts. A day of lots of laughs and quite a few caches found, including multi's, puzzles, traditionals, adventure labs and even an earthcache. Finished the day off getting caught in a hail storm on the way home, was a day of all kinds of weather.
This area has become a hang out for some kids as they have built themselves a fort here. Had a search around and was able to find the cache housing, however the cache "inners" which included the log was missing. A new log sheet in a zip lock bag has been placed inside the cache housing and cache rehidden with natural camo in hopes the kids do not find it. Reached out to the CO who has granted permission to log, thanks for that.
Thanks for the cache placement Kittykatch and thanks for the lovely day out FFLL ladies.

All we found was a bottle lid that looked identical to to another picture from a few years ago. It might have been stolen or destroyed.
Out with LuckyL10n for a run to Braidwood and this was our next stop. Lot and lots of multi's however we only hit a few of them today.
No issues here and out names were soon in the log. Once we finished in the area, it was off to the bakery....of course.
Thanks for another KK.....a neat little container.

#11849 - 10:38:00 AM; Another day and another caching run with Sol de lune to meet our calendar day challenges. Braidwood was our destination of choice today as we build our number for 19 July. Fifteen finds with a single DNF for today's mission, with all our found caches in good order. Not quite sure about the hint, as we found the cache very much at 'ball' level. Glad we didn't strike out here! TFTC Kittykatch
Deserted around here this morning apart from a cat and a magpie in close proximity. After a short hunt the container revealed itself. TFTC Kittykatch
Nice hiding place
Too k a few minutes to find
Cute container

Yay my last find for the day. Suck a clever little cache.
Keen for a drive and a bit of caching today - Braidwood looked like it might do the trick! Has been great to pause and explore the area as so often I just stop in quickly as I am passing through. A great little adventure and a very successful day. Can’t wait to be back!

Finalf29 and I are on another caching road trip... woohoo! So good to be out with my bestest bud
Loved the cache container. Thanks

So..... the weather is a bit crap for any walks, the grass length suggest staying to the paths..... so today Aquilus1 and I decided to target some numbers....being the newish trail from Captains Flat to Braidwood. We were in lucj as we spotted rainbow unicorns again, and this time we have a tame one with us!
Of course we grabbed a few others in addition to the trail, starting the day with a ladder cache, then onto the power trail, having lunch and with it a delightful bunch of simple caches around Braidwood, culminating with some oldies & larges on the way back to Canberra making it in time for the fabulous event TikvaNZ hosted on the lake.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining, we had a nice day out in some pretty nasty weather conditions. We did a ladder cache and three fishing pole caches today....nuts I know.
But, all I remember of the day was the freshness of that beautiful cake at the event.... and driving Aquilus1's car home..... she let me be a grumpy old man I let her be a social butterfly...whats not to like.

With GreyHams we set out for a newer trail between Captains Flat and Braidwood, lovely sunny day, a bit warm but the the cars aircon had that covered and the wind... OMG was it windy, so windy it was crazy! Debris blowing out the trees made their target of the car many times, we battled to just get in and out the car doors! I lost my hat a few times before it was placed safely back in the car and the prickle bushes that the wind blew into you, there was no escaping the long sharp thorns as the wind forced then in deeper!!!
Certainly not the greatest day to be out but we continued on happily, would seem luck was on our side with the Magical Rainbow Unicorn that appeared today! Mostly the caches were straight forward and easily located but we managed a tree climb while swaying in the wind and battled to complete and return 3 fishing pole caches, but we did!
A good variety of caches of all sizes through the day and even managed to collect quite a few nice caches in Braidwood after lunch. Heading back to Canberra for an event we stopped for a few old and large caches, as well as a few that there never seemed to be enough time to stop for previously.
A great day out, weather aside, and TikvaNZ's celebration event was a nice way to end the day by the lake and with absence of the crazy wind, finally! Nice to have a chat and the cake and sausages were great, as was the nice ice cold drinks which I got to enjoy while staying on for a little longer!!!
Thanks for your cache that was part of an enjoyable day! Have been meaning to get to this for some time now but never seems to be the time, today we made the time and the well themed cache was found without issue.

ALL7 had advised that she was thinking of placing a new trail around this area and asked if we wouldn't mind helping her, so we decided to tag along.
After finishing with the placement of the trail we decided to stop in Braidwood for something to eat and collected the caches around the area.
Nice cache here yep caught out indeed. With coming out of retirement and returning back to softball this year this cache container alone was a favourite for us.
Thanks for the hide Kittykatch

I was looking for it, and probably in the right area, but all I found was a bit of rubbish.
Decided to introduce so family cousins to geocaching!
Was out at Mongarlowe, having a few days with some cousins at my Nana's place. We went out to Braidwood to geocache and we ended up finding this cache!
We went for this cache first. Nice easy find with a good theme as well as pot on coordinates.

Normally the stop in Braidwood involves a pastry stop at the local bakery, this time I decided to pick up a cache instead, being this one. It’s well hidden under the foliage, but co-ords are spot on. Tftc
Jasch family on a pie run to Braidwood decided to stop for a cache. We were getting a bit flustered as we knew we were sitting on it. Read some comments that the coords are slightly off and widened our search and found immediately. Neat themed container! Thanks for the fun find.
Didn’t realise the baseball tip as I’m not savvy with that sport but easy find and pretty cool cache. Signed and put back right before muffles walked past. Tftc
We stayed near Braidwood for a couple of nights and found your cache. What a cute town this is. Our thanks to Kittykatch for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
