This was a good hide, and earned its favourite points. We are not in a position to maintain it at the moment , and so will archive and free up the area.
So many muggles around and sadly ADF from us as well after some 20 minutes of looking
Look on the ground for a blue pen it will guide you too the cache( unless someone moved the pen/through it away)
Nice quick find in between muggles before heading off to do the nearby AL. Fantastic area, thanks for bringing me here.
Quick and easy find. Full logs still in container and liable to falling out so care needed. TFTC

Waiting, waiting, waiting, people around, sitting on seats, trying to be subtle to find it. Eventually found it, similar to some other finds today. Signed and returned while hubby took photos!! TFTC
Out in Southbank this morning for a work thing and had some time to spare. Feeling bored because I left my switch at home I tried to remember what I did before I got my switch. Oh yeah... Geocaching.
I opened the trusty app and headed over to GZ. There was a man resting on the closest bench so we sat nearby and waited him out. It was exactly where I expected and was a quick find once the area was clear.
Thanks for the cache!

Took a second to centre myself at the fountain. Everything in life is within reach if you focus.
Last day in Brissie and this cache was close to my hotel so I didn't want to give this up! Took a while (but a nice place to relax and think) but I found a past log that made things click for me and it was soo obvious! Very nice hide! TFTC!
In Brisbane for a couple of days. This took a little while because my gps was al over the place. Found it and logged. It fits in very well. Thanks for the cache and for showing me this place. Regards from Sweden.
Actually logged as a dnf.
Walked away and I had a thought.
Not as difficult as I made it..

Down in the Brisbane area with friends to go to the Outback Spectactular. A great night, and now for some walking around town, picking up a cache here and there as we pass. This one was a revisit from a couple of years ago, where e left empty handed.
Not this time, had to make a quick dash here as we were catching the nearby ferry for a trip up the river.
Thanks domsky for the caches.

Total Cache Finds 13958,
Loved this one! Such a fascinating spot! There was a muggle nearby but she wasnt paying any attention to us. We waited for a break in the sight-seeing muggles and then went for it. There was something of a red herring nearby which drennostar was focused on, but due to a miscommunication I reached for the actual geocache instead What a happy accident! TFTC!
The photos previous ppl have sent really help refine the search, followed a red herring for far too long haha, so satisfying to find tho!
Started off on a wrong path but then the light bulb moment came after reading an earlier log and the cache was soon in hand. Log signed & replaced. Thanks for bringing me to this lovely spot. I did go to Expo 88 but it was so long ago I have no memories of this pagoda. TFTC - fav point added.
Had to come back a second time. Coordinates appeared to be a bit off, they took me to the wrong side of the pavilion. When exploring the area around a different bench it was a quick find. Might be tricky if you have not seen one of those before. Pretty spot, great GC, thanks a lot. R
Perfect place to visit while relaxing after a great dinner catch-up with an old friend involving decent amount of margaritas nearby….such a peaceful spot in the city, at 8.40pm on Wednesday night with not a soul around, so plenty of time to search for this elusive geocache. Like previous hunters, I totally overthought it and spent way too much time looking under objects. Eventually had a brainwave and there it was! TFTC
Resumed our caching itinerary where we had left it yesterday because of the rain.
First we explored the South Bank area, then we enjoyed a river cruise on a KittyCat to Howard Smith Wharves and the Story Bridge and back again. A stroll through the Botanic Gardens brought us back to George Street and to our hotel.
What a lovely and peaceful place, very quiet this morning.
A neat little hide. TFTC Domsky

Quick find and quiet today. Hitting the town on the escooter again!
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!

Today we found Urban Caching in South Brisbane 9 on our travels. We are on another visit from Melbourne just because…well, maybe it’s all those puzzles we solved during those many lockdowns! Having the opportunity to sign some actual logs is exciting! We avoided this one on the weekend as it was way to muggley. Today it was less so, quite peaceful in fact.
Thanks domsky for being part of our geocaching fun.

Very busy with families close to gz. Waited a while found the right moment to retrieve the cache! Great spot thanks for the adventure, from Alex and Jessie
Happy to have found this. I nearly gave up but knew it was hiding nearby. Great cache, lots of muggles. Beautiful spot. Tftc
School holidays found us in Brisbane, my old stomping ground. Haven't been to South Bank since the wheel/Eye went up, and still remember the site as it was during Expo 88.
Geoson Rednight2000, non-geoson and I found this one after riding the Eye (waht a great view!). Popular spot here next to the pagoda so had to time our search between floating groups of muggles.
TFTC domsky, from a fellow Canberran cacher

After more than 3 weeks in Australia, it was time to return home. KellerClann suggested a brilliant idea of getting into the city centre for a ramble before my flight. After a trip on the CityCat, we did some exploring, find some caches and had some lunch and a beer. Creative hide! TFTC

Thanks for the cache. Took a little bit but managed to make work and find the cache!
Took a minute but got it! Signed one of a couple logs so it's not in chronological order but thanks for the hide!
A maintenance walk to this are today. Thanks Davidwazza for the recent log replacement.
Added new plastic bag today.

Thanks to Domsky for such a tricky little cache. These ones are always such a pleasure to find. I’m not sure why a previous ‘finder’ spoke about a green box.
The Swampdevils came down to Brissie for the KISS concert and a lovely stroll today topped off our final day down here.
I’m sure Paul Stanley should sing: ‘I wanna rock and roll all night, and cache every day!’

Tftc. Took a while but located in the end. Bumped into Jenjen also searching. Thanks
Walking past and saw two others with a green box. Said hi and there you go. It's definitely there. A week staying in the area and by chance coming across it indirectly. Great hde.
Lovely location, very peaceful and serene, especially early morning with only scooter riders and cyclists zooming about. Muggle hubby made the quick find of a classic hide. TFTC domsky
Found it with JayJJHawk, who actually made the find (after we both struck out on a near by one). Great hide. TFTC from Tennessee, USA
Found after visiting GOMA on a Tuesday afternoon. Good hiding spot, managed to get the cache without too many Muggles around. Good hide, TFTC.
I have been trying to find this cache on and off for a year, finally I realised my gps was way off and u was looking in the wrong spot. Right coordinates in hand and there it was. Awesome cache
Great hide! You found the perfect spot for this hide. Giving it a fav because if that. Good going! TFTC
First find in Brisbane. Travelled from US with a couple of Trackables. Need to find a bigger container. Pen gave out. Hope foto is ?
Great little pagoda, definitely would not have known it was here.
A muggle near GZ but luckily was able to discretely find the cache, sign and return without getting spotted.
Thanks!

One of the coolest camouflage cache we have ever found! Found by geodad in two seconds flat. Would have been sneaky had dad not expected something like that. Fav added; TFTC
An excellent concealment in plain sight. Found with The James Gang today. Thanks domsky.
Thanks for this sneaky hide domsky. Followed the GPS and had a look at where it indicated. The hint was very helpful too.
A wet Friday is the best time to be visiting the area. Not many people around at all.
