Umm couldn’t find the sty? Or at least not one that would have been usable for some time! Still had a look/feel around but couldn’t come up with the goods

18-Sep-21
Found it on a beautiful Lockdown day.
Didn’t have a pen so included picture of log
84.

12-Aug-21
I had to grab a cache to help fill my calendar days, as the lockdown last year threw my plans in the bin. I headed to another nearby cache to be met with a constant stream of muggles so tome to garb this one.

Upon arriving at GZ I quickly spotted a likely location, waited for some dog walking muggles to walk on by and made the grab. No attempt to go up today as I had to head to work. Thanks for the hide. Lovely area for a cache #1259

21-Jun-21
A nice quick find on the way up Mount Hobson, all good here, nothing to protest about Smile TFTC

Dogs, dogs, dogs! And dog owners. But finally got to retrieve cache and sign. Up the hill next time; already have earth cache. Tftc.

09-May-21
We found this area to be very quiet, probably due to all the mothers getting breakfast in bed and a rather drizzly morning . A great spot to take the dogs, take in the views and get the heart pumping. Tftc!

Easy find on way past .... been up the hill lots when I used to live round here TFTC

Mrs Beconaze had an appointment nearby and we were early so we burned up a little time walking to this cache. We had looked for this one in the past with no luck so lucky it was a very quick find on this one today

Returned to my favourite hill in the city to relax at during uni times. TFTC Smile

11-Jan-21
This one is still there, I found it on Friday morning in the rain. It’s behind a post, GL, site of stile. Log to follow

11-Jan-21
Well well, it’s still there.

10-Jan-21
Need to check— again.

08-Jan-21
Moved the car nearby to here and started the slog to the top. First though a nice GL cache to find. No worries here though the sty has gone, just a couple of posts where once piggies ran, in stile. All good and replaced as found, behind.

I was tasked with the airport run today as our daughter was flying back in from Blenheim having spent New Year away at parties and friend's houses. Never one to look a gift-cache in the mouth I volunteered to do the job as it meant I could go to the airport 'via' Mount Hobson and the TMGT cache there as well as the collateral others in the area. If I had time I was going to do some more out Mangere way.
Alas the rain came down and a severe downpour put the dampers on the plan and so after the Mt Hobson area ones I headed out near the airport onto Landing Drive and mopped up a few out that way.

07-Jan-21
Not sure what happened to the sty. No sign of it today so hint didn't exactly help. Searched all around the opening in the fenceline and bit further away. No joy. Guess it could be in the dense thicket near the opening but not in places I checked there.

09-Dec-20
Nice cache! I have found lots of your caches G-2. Found 1 in Takupuna yesterday. Thanks G-2

Just as I was about to give up I decided to check one last place and found myself victorious! Brand new log too! My search was interrupted a couple of times by dog walkers but it was a good find in the end. TFTC!

05-Apr-20
This day was similar to other days while waiting for our flight back to Sweden. Walking, lunch in a park and a walk back. Good for the brain and the body.

Always keeping the distance of 2 meters to other people and using hand sanitizer before and after logging.

Just when we arrived at this cache we got a message from a GC reviewer in NZ. That stated that we were forbidden to log anything but earthcaches and virtuals. We took a photo of the area around GZ. CO will be contacted.

As this was the last cache we found in NZ we will give it a collective FP. Thanks all cache owners that made it possible to examine all those places that is forgotten in the guide books.

Thanks for the cache!

Was going to do it on the way up, but a muggle put paid to that so did it on the way down.

Oh, G2, you are the master of cache construction! Back in the UK we have a cache master known as Kevham who goes all over North Devon placing the most wonderful caches. If only you and he could meet up one day and swap ideas! We came to this hill about two years ago and found (or perhaps didn’t find) a cache near here up the hill with a similar name, but it’s lovely to have the excuse to come back.

Found 11am
Labour weekend in the past has been a Mega weekend, but not to be this year.
Rough plans made last minute as to what we would do, so target was TMGT caches in Auckland, lots of solved puzzles and any thing else we passed.
Plans always change as we got half way through the weekend and decided also to collect the Te Tai Tokerau TMGT caches also.
First stop for the weekend was a visit to Waikato Hospital to visit a Huntly cacher who has had a knee operation. (guess this is going to slow him down for a while)
The weekend seemed to fly by and before we knew it we were back home.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the cache placements. SLTFTC

Labour Weekend - Saturday. With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... This long weekend has come at the right time for us. We are using the extra day to get a jump on the TMGT. Auckland and Northland are our targets...

We had our sights set on Mt Hobson, but couldn’t find an easy way in. We ended up circling the mountain, and that brought us close to other hides. It was pleasantly warm and most people would have had things to do on a holiday Saturday morning. It was quiet around ground zone - So much so, we were able to search freely. A great hide, but we expect nothing less from this CO... Thanks G2 and TFTC.

20-Oct-19
After climbing Mt Hobson, the coast was clearer to make the find here. Nice camo. SL. TFTC.

Day trip to Auckland to pick up some TMGT series

19-Oct-19
I was in the area and decided I should grab a cache while out. I noticed there was a Geotour cache near my destination so picked that for this morning's mission. As a bonus there was three other caches near by with a few favorites.
Before heading up the hill I grabbed this cache. It was easily spotted (despite my GPS being everywhere else) and is very well made camo which earns an FP from me (another of my FPs goes to G-2!).

Find number 6128. Decided to come north to collect some of the caches for the Geotour so this was a stop before we headed up the hill. Hide was spotted but there was a little surprise before the log was signed. Placed back and then headed to the top. Thank you for the placement.

19-Oct-19
Grab this one as we were in the area
Very nice hide
Thanks to the CO

Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
I stopped by this one on my way up the hill to log the new geotour cache. I needed a second log to spot the ingenious hide. TFTC

We're going from Whangarei to Hamilton with a few diversions. This was a clever container.

Yay school holidays! Time for a road trip with my friend Ethness. I flew from Christchurch to Wellington. The idea is to drive up to the top of the North Island and back. We planned the trip ages ago.

Thanks G_2 for placing this geocache 7863 find for me.

Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

Quick find - sneaky hide. The school holidays are here and NosyNel and I are on a road trip north - to the far north. TFTC. Signed NNES.

***======== NZ Mega 2020 ========](http://nzmega.com)***

Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:

* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!

Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

After having found "The Geo-Quiz Cache(Auckland)" in a very early morning, I left hubby for the day as he needed to work. decided to take a walk, without any specific direction and see where I ended up.
next on my walking tour was this one. I was warned by a dog owner that it was very slippery, and yes, it was. I should have weared another par of shoes. Nevertheless, after having done the climb, the well camoflaged cache was found. I would have done the enire climb to the top if it hadn't that wet in the grass. Thanks for another great cache G-2 Wink

18-May-19
Found while on a long weekend trip to Auckland. My son and I regularly come up to the Hutchwilco Boat Show for a father and son trip each year. This year we organized a fishing charter and also took the time to scatter my father's ashes as he passed last year.

Later this morning we have to do the more solemn stuff so to take my mind off it, I decided to spend some waiting time geocaching. This was the second of two caches I targeted being approximately 390m from our motel.

From reading previous logs, it seemed as if this cache was a little different from your average cache so I wasn't sure what to expect at GZ. Once there I was lured by the red herring but soon discarded that. Then I searched further afield for a while, also to no avail. Going back to where I originally looked, I noticed something else worthy of further investigation, and that is where I found the cache.

A quick and easy find. Well done with the camo, FP for that. Cheers

Another quick trip up to Auckland to visit family, and another opportunity to find a few caches. Lovely caching weather today too.

Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

#608. After spending a while looking at the wrong hint object, I looked and saw whose cache this actually is and of course that made me realise I should investigate some things that normally I probably wouldn't. And then sure enough there it was.

Opened it and bits of paper popped out everywhere. But I collected them all up and signed and replaced and was on my way again.

Thanks for the cache!

30-Mar-19
As TWS and I pulled up we caught a guy who had obviously been caught short so did our best to ignore him and fortunately the cache was away from where he decided to relieve himself. Cache soon located after a short search. Love the camo, cheers

All that remains of this cache is the log book floating around in a cut-off plastic Sprite bottle. It needs to be disabled or replaced.

This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.

A bit of spare time this morning before work and as it wasnt pouring decided to collect a cache or two.Had our eyes on this one for a while so today we finally got around to taking a look.Spent quite a well here noticed the cache early on but mistook it for something else it wasnt until we were about to leave that we looked more closly and found the log.

18-Aug-18
As it was International Geocaching Day I had to go out and find the nearest unfound cache to home. Love the camo.
Thanks G-2.

I was showing my little buddy Miley how to geocache. This was close to her house so we walked over and she soon found the log book lying on the ground but she did not spot a container. After a bit more searching she found half a bottle so we signed the log and placed it in the half bottle in the hope that it may stay dry. CO will probably want to check this out as I’m sure there is a clever hiding spot for it close by. TFTC Smile

Need to check

09-Jun-18
bit of a scrounge around on the hand and knees required, but logged it i did.

27-May-18
Found ourselves without the geo-kids and a little bit of time before we had to collect them so decided to stop and grab a couple of caches (particularly 2 in the area that were blue frowns).

Quick find here and a great camo as usual, G2! Am surprised there are no caches up the hill...well maybe they are puzzles and I haven't solved them as yet. Didn't complete the walk up, raced back to the car between rain drops and onto the next cache.

Thanks for the cache - fav point for the camo.

08-May-18
Only once been to the top of this hill and it was very late at night for a FTF with the funky munkee. So wasn't planning to head back up there today. Personally I think what a waste of time protesting like that with weed killer, the only ones who would see it if at all would be the runners and the walkers, if they happened to be noticing. The cache is a great camo! Nicely done G. This cache ended up being my last for the night since I DNF'ed the one at the bridge over the motorway.

08-May-18
Log later

29-Apr-18
I thought I had done this cache back in February but I hadn't logged a find on it so rather than assume that I had in fact done it if I was wrong I decided to go and check on one of caches that is nearby and pop in here to see if I had or not in fact done it. Once I pulled up near GZ I remembered exactly what to expect so my recollection was correct as it turned out. Walked Albert over to see if I could see my name in the log but since the log is new I signed my name again.

Another clever cache of creativity from G-2, very good. Thank for the cache, all good here.

22-Apr-18
Added new log
All ok

20-Apr-18
Thanks for the cache.

20-Apr-18
Logbook is gone. Improvised one. Need to be replaced by owner.

19-Apr-18
I am heading out to do some maintence on one of my own hides, but since I was passing, roughly speaking, nearby, I determined to collect this one after making a small detour. The trickiest part of this cache was getting a carpark! Eventually I just copied the tradie vans in the area and simple invented a parking spot. Made the short dash to GZ and found the well camoed cache in the second spot I checked. However, the log sheet appears to have gone AWOL. I recall finding another G2 near here some years ago. Cheers for the cache placement!

12-Apr-18
Wow what a beautifully made piece of Camo.

11-Apr-18
Walked along to here from Bassett Rd, and another very cool camo. Almost put it back down before I realised. Another FP from me, cheers
