Logs
Passing through the area on a fine spring day collecting a couple of smileys on the way. Signed the log and returned the cache to where it was found. Thanks @Nickag73 for placing Sign of the Times for the GC community to find !!
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 65 - Swan Valley Perth Day 10. My last Suburban county was today. It turns out I have been in and through Nedland a few times already, but just Labs so far. I had a mixed result from my list of caches today. Some of the camo is way too good for me. I then moved back to Subiaco and had a great walk around the main town centre and enjoyed myself before driving home via a couple more caches to round out my day. The day finished with shopping and cooking at home. With coffee going on nearby, I was happy to see the container quickly and get it on the move. Not too busy here at the moment today. Thanks for the cache Nickag7348137.2 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & September 2023 The Jeweled Darner A#535**Albida**
Tftc! Meeting friends for brunch saw the opportunity for a quick find on the way! Love this area
Long time since I frequented Steve's. The old place has more atmosphereFound and replaced. Needs new plastic bag. TFTC
I swear that was not there on my previous visits! I have tried twice before but both times during busy periods so I didnt have a good look. Today I spotted it immediately. At least I have a find now. TFTC
I managed to spot this on my initial reconnaissance walk-past, and grabbed it without breaking stride.
This was the last find of our epic trip to the other side of the world. Many thanks to all of the Perth area COs for the great variety of hides. We had a great caching experience!

On a maintenance run today and checked on this cache as well. The container had fallen off its host but we were able to replace it where it should be.
Happy caching!

Good cache but it won’t come out from where it is. It is stuck. I don’t want to post a photo and ruin it but it will not come out.
Snuck out whilst the family was fast asleep to collect a few smiley faces and a near by Adlab. I'm finally back in W.A visiting all my family and friends after being away for so long. Really enjoy being back in my home state. Found at 8:17pm... Be easier to come out of opening hours!! Thanks for the cache
Back on track after a couple of DNFs. I was searching in the wrong spot for awhile. 9 for 12 today...
Alas I was never one to hang around here in the olden days. Only took up drinking when business drove me to it.
After a quick refreshment break we were back at it for this cache and SirFancy calmly extracted the log and cache soon after.
Once signing was completed we returned everything as found and headed on our way.

Working towards 1000 caches for the calendar year and gave a call out to SirFancy, Meme28 & I C Nothing to find a time to head out and grab the last 18 caches needed.
Tonight worked for everyone so with the details worked out we met up in Dalkeith and the hunt was on.
Spent sometime as a big group and split up occasionally making mainly quick work with everything we were chasing.
By the time we started heading for home I was well and truely past my goal finishing up with 31 finds and 0 DNF’s.

Thanks Nickag73 for placing Sign of the Times for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 20:51 on 28/12/21.
This is find number 3788 for me.

With this heat we haven’t been caching as we usually would so tonight we decided to get together to grab some caches and help Cirrus_WA get to his milestone. We had a great night caching with Meme28, Cirrus_WA and Sir Fancy. All caches found in good condition. Logged as MIcS.
A team MICS(Meme28, I C Nothing, CirrusWA and SirFancy) caching night.
We painted the town yellow with smiley faces picking up caches in Dalkeith, Nedlands and West Perth.
Congratulations to CirrusWA getting the final caches needed to have found 1000 caches within the year.
This is my 1216 find.
Thank you Nickag73 for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!

Group catch-up for the end of year with Cirrus_WA ICNothing and SirFancy. Cache found in good condition. Cheers!
Quick park and grab in between showers. Geohubby read about the sculpture whilst I stamped the log.
With cmb212. Sat at Steve's having a meal and I realised that there was a cache very close.
Rude not to.

Have tried here so many times. It was either too busy or just couldn't find anything. Finally can log a find. Signed and returned as found. Tftc
It's been a while but we finally got back to have a look. A cold day so no one is in the nearby cafe.
Attended to discretely on a quiet night.
The baggy could do with replacing in a smaller size to help the container attach in its intended position.

Very muggly location, extracted and replaced as quickly and discreetly as possible. Tftc
Been wanting to get this smiley for ages but always too many muggles around. Today I was in the area in a rainy day so the coast was clear. Note that the magnet has come away from container. I managed to make it work and reattach but it may need some attention. Thanks.
Find 12 of 15 with 2 DNFs on a mountain bike ride from Lake Monger through Subi, Nedlands and the CBD in beautiful spring sunshine.
We had a very half-hearted DNF here a while back and didn't log it. With a lot less foot traffic the cache was quickly found today.
TFTC Nickag73!

This was a dismal failure for me a couple of years ago - so when I realised I'd be reasonably close by today I made sure to come here for a second look and avenge my DNF. As expected it was a busy little spot even on a public holiday (or maybe more so!) but thankfully this time the cache was a nice quick find. I know I checked this location last time but clearly I didn't look close enough! Great to finally convert this sad blue face into a smiley All ok here - TFTC
After grabbing a new cache nearby we decided to grab this one too. We parked nearby and started our search which was paused by a brief shower of rain. Once the search was back on we spotted the prize but now we had to make the grab in between muggles. Finally a gap and we made the grab and signed your log. Now to wait for the next gap to get it back. Finally cache replaced and time to head home. I enjoyed this cache, favourite point coming up when I get a new delivery. TFTC Nickag73.
Found with axell33 while getting a new cache nearby. This one was fraught with muggles and rain, but we managed to make the find. It's very pretty here, even it the rain. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.
Found the 'container' on the floor with no log attached. Have replaced the paper and put it back in the obvious spot. CO may need to check placement. TFTC
Now I understand why you are supposed to find at least 20 geocaches before placing your own! I had never seen or heard of a geocache hidden like this one, lots of fun
I had to drop my daughter of this morning in Nedlands so I decided to go for my morning run in this area and grab a couple of 'Jewel' caches as well.
This was the last one for the morning as I had to get to work. I started by searching the wrong 'sign' but when that proved fruitless I shifted my attention to the correct spot and soon made the find. It has certainly changed from when I was last here 30 years ago.

2nd time lucky ants have invaded the cache and are inside it so beware. TFTC
Had to be at Mount Hospital at 7.15am for tests and then after lunch in Subiaco for another test. First tests finished before 8.30am so Mr dimor drove around getting GA and GC caches and going to some places we've never been.
Was a good day and the weather was a tad humid but apart from the many ants at most caches we enjoyed ourselves caching
Willing to forgo caching I cut my list short due to wanting to visit my Great Grandparents grave at Karrakatta before my next test this time in Subiaco.
As we got to my test early, I went in early so walked out the door just after appointment time, how good was that as it now gave more time to pick up the caches I bypassed but this time doing them in reverse order.
Last cache for the day that wasn't in the place we thought. After using a TOTT I saw it but didn't think that was it but discovered it moved so bingo

Very easy find saw it on approach, interesting history and sculpture.
Very difficult to place back in place so it cant be seen, Perhaps it needs a second anchor.
Thanks for hiding

Nice wee piece of work here Nickag73. What a nice spot for a quiet coffee or two on a Sunday (Anyday). Thanks for the history lesson and bringing us to this work of art.
We headed out today to clean up another area on the map. Happy to say we came up trumps with a nice quick find and walked away with a smilie TFTC
Up in perth for a event, and a bit of caching on the side. Thanks for placing caches for us to find. Tftc..
Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
Quick find by her after the event.
Thanks for the hide and

Stopped after the NY Day event and made a quick find outside the deserted drinking place. TFTC!
Out on a bit of an evening drive and cache run after a long day at work.
Caching is always easier when there is no muggles around, so this one was a quick find! Log signed right on 2130hrs. Cheers Nickag73!

No joy here - checked the obvious place and some not so obvious places. Then ran out of places to check. Will keep watch.
Nice quiet intersection on a brisk Monday morning..nice art work..cache and log in good condition tftc
Found with Mrs richlink while Mr was at an appointment. Thanks for the cache Nickag73
Before geohubby had to attend an apt nearby, met up with iluvtrekking to grab a couple of caches before breakfast. Arrived at this one at 9am which was fortunate because the road and surrounds were quiet. Can imagine retrieving the container would be a more difficult task when the nearby establishment is pumping. Thanks Nickag73
Cold, wild and windy day, keeping the muggles away, yea. Looked in the obvious places and there it was. Thanks Nickag73 for the hide.
Out for a drive north of the river with Chwiliwr.
After success and a blank log at the last cache we came here where we made a quick find of the cache but not quite so quick a retrieval as it was not put back right. Eventually the log was signed and the cache returned in the proper position.
Thanks Nickag73 for the cache.

Out for a drive north of the river with the better half.
After the success at the previous cache with a blank log we drove nearby to park and then came here where we made a quick find of the cache but it was very hard to recover.
Eventually the log was signed and the cache returned to an easier to retrieve position.

After app with SCGH so need one or two caches so detour and search for short and found it. Signed the log. Like your hide spot. Thanks Nickag73.
Fav from me.

Council worker was at the sculpture in the centre of the roundabout fishing down some sneakers, so had to be discreet. Didn't take long. TFTC Nickag73.
Headed up to the city today with two objectives. One was to meet up with some fellow travellers with whom I will be trekking the Headhunter Trail in Borneo later this month. The other was to try and round up a few mythical creatures. Arrived at gz and checked that muggles weren't watching before conducting a quick search of the other spot, but wasn't there. Thought about it a bit before spotting the right location. Enjoyed the information plaque history spiel too. Thanks for the experience and the smiley earned here Nickag73
Went to check on this geocache yesterday and found it on the ground. We put it back to it's original location.
Thanks,
Nickag73
