19/8/20 Find #4031
Well this one is it. My last cache for our Wacky Wednesday out and about today, so while wombles and co made a short stop at the nearby amenities, I headed over to begin the search. It wasn’t until wombles has joined me, where she obviously had pretty good memory, as she walked straight up to the right spot, that I was able to make my find. Well we actually made two finds in the same spot! So I decided to sign both logs.
Thanks for the cache Waz and Vik.

i had a few hours to spare so decided to come here with my push bike and find a few caches. i ended up finding 11 and a 13 km bike ride. THis was my first and at gz i went to admire this nice pond and the birds enjoying the cloudy day. i took a few looks at the wrong places before i spotted this cache. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Finally found this cache was here once before. And reach out for a paf. And still couldn’t it. But this time found the cache. Sign the log and move around the tree to replace the cache and found another cache. So now I signed two logs. I wonder in I can log it twice

TFTC, we didn't sign the log, covid-19! And someone logged it only two days ago. Great to be out walking though on a gorgeous autumn day
I had a little free time before I needed to be at work so I thought I would try and grab a couple on my way.
After all the rain we've had the walk down to the cache was very soggy under foot. I had a few puddles to try and dodge and had to walk a weird way around as to not get my shoes any wetter than they all ready were.
After my puddle jumping and dodging I made it to the final location. Found quickly, signed, replaced then I was on my way.
Thanks for the cache.

Almost gave up on this one. I had done some circles and back and forth. Then a chopper came along and did some funky moves so I watched it.
Decided to read some logs and tries a slightly different spot and there it was.

Checked on this one a couple of weeks ago and there was nothing, today we replaced it all good to go now
Swooped on Caboolture today chasing green boxes ... took a bit of backwards and forwards and round and round before my quarry was finally spotted.
Thanks Waz and Vik for entertaining me at this location.

Had to go check on my dad in Caboolture so déjàvu, back in this park again! A lot dusty today though!
Another quick find here, wouldn’t want to be trying to find this one on parkrun day!

We found this nice little cache on a run picking up gems for Mystery at the Museum. Its position was a bit flimsy so we secured it in a safer position at GZ as per the hint. TFTC

Wednesday. Mr SP was on his own after dropping Mrs SP off. Went for a walk to find this one, followed the clue and soon had it in hand. It has rained so much herte that the ground around and near the cache needs a temporary wading attribute!
This was the 6th of 7 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Waz and Vik***, for showing us this place.

Tftc. Geocaching is so much more fun than just walking. Well, perhaps walking around this lake is an exception. Thanks for bringing me here.
Wasn't quite as the hint suggested but found it eventually. Placed it more inline with the hint now.
Thanks!!

I'm catching up on logging today, so sorry for the generic logs . Today I was out caching with barbbowman and Net88 in the Moreton Bay Council area, starting in Warner, heading to Caboolture and then finishing up in Burpengary. Phew, it was a busy day - I ended up finding 18 caches . Thank you to each of the wonderful COs for placing and maintaining these caches and providing us with a great day filled with finds and friendship
I very rarely go caching but decided to head out with Barbbowman and Rio today. This was our twelfth find for the day. We walked here from Black is back and on arrival I was sad that we didn't see any ducks here, nor geese. Instead we played Crow, Crow, Ibis... which is a similar game just a little smellier.
We were searching for this cache for ages until we had all given up and turned around to leave. my GPS says it is 8m from GZ but there it was, with a clean logbook, staring right at us. We signed our names and headed back to the car. Thanks for the cache Waz and Vik.

out with rio and net today
I have a plan … follow the trail to the multi and then wing it lol
turned and was about to say 'I give up' … but instead said 'I see it'
not as up as I would have thought

An extensive and thorough search, but still nothing. But I did find a pair of scissors!

After two dnfs, went to check on cache. It appeared to be missing so was replaced. All good to go now.
TFTC smile 3434 out and about with miss millie geodog on this lovely day and what a great place for a walk Thank you for placing this cache here for our enjoyment
We have met up with Liz and Bruce, camping in the Caboolture showgrounds for a couple of days.
A good variety of caches & hides found as we worked our way around the town & countryside.
Thanks for placing this cache Waz and Vik

Out caching with Di Morgan on this beautiful sunny afternoon. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Nicely done. Thanks Waz and Vik
Visiting the area for a horse event and trying to do a couple of caches each day, this was an easy spotting but hmmm we do not have any TOT with us but a bit of ingenuity and a cache was in hand, log signed and we were on our way. TFTC
Quick find, some fun retrieving. Nice park would be lovely to go for a walk around. TFTC
Not a muggle in sight, just the way I like my GZ.
It took a while before I finally found the right up longer then it should have.
Maybe time for a coffee!
thanks for the cache Waz and Vik

Lucky last cache find as a group today, with geo-hubby WallabyTim and the delightful Vegan Cachers. Took a little bit of hunting as some of us were looking in the more dense area before WT exclaims "found it" in a more sparse tree. We wandered back to the cars, chin-wagging some more before calling it a day. However, after the chatting didn't stop, we decided to venture to the nearby picnic table to make a coffee and chat some more before eventually WT and I headed north for home and VC south. Was a great day with great company! TFTC
Found on a Sunny Wednesday morning. 4° celcius at home. What would possess us to go outside.... a geocache.. found with my amazing Geo-Wife KaleidoscopeCass and those no gooder VeganCachers... oh wait.. vegan... ha! So are we... all is good. Cache found. Log signed.. no vegan cooties left. Tftc
A late exchange of messages last night soon had the 'Vegans' on patrol today! LOL ...
WallabyTim & KaleidoscopeCass teamed up with Vegan Cachers (& Winter the Geo-cat) & after a quick internet search we came up with an area, as yet relatively untouched by all, for us to invade today collecting smilies, sharing great company & spreading the word! .
Our seventeenth & final group cache for today.
Once again the more able bodied were quicker & more fleet of foot here today with WallabyTim once again finding the cache while the rest spent our energy elsewhere. LOL …
Made our marks & replaced as found.
Today's caching done it was time to part ways & head for our respective digs.
Isn't it funny how you can spend all day with someone yet still have something to talk about to delay the parting?
An executive decision made, we settled at the nearby table for a coffee before finally cutting the proverbial cord.
Coffee & conversation over & it was time to move on.
I have a feeling that while the 'joint' caching is done for the day more caches will be found both north & south!
A great day caching with great company & thanks to all the COs who placed the caches found today.

I had parked closest to the black one and made my way around the lake and estate on foot. Pleasant walk with lots of birdlife and only a few doggy muggles.
This one was not quite as up as I was expecting. Soon lowered my gaze and had it in sight.
Having fun on this solo caching adventure on the quest for Hidden Creatures - now that there are only a few left to find on the Sunshine Coast and these all involve some more time and effort that I had available today, Caboolture was the closest unfound caching pasture.

Amazing camo. Had been looking right at it and not seen it. Thankfully my fellow cacher spotted it.
Like lots before us this took ages then when we found it couldn’t understand why it took so long.

Took a walk with Geocheryl to this cache. We spent quite a long time looking up into the trees before Cheryl made the find. Didn't have to look up very high for this one! (or perhaps someone has moved it from its original placing)
After having a lovely chat with a local couple on the bridge we casually walked to gz.. why rush with scenery like this. Tftc
Well well, a dog park and exercise area and beautiful walk ways - well thought out. Tftc
A few choices where this could be. A couple of circles around and Iolanthek spotted it. Tftc
I'm out with Nurseyjulie for a few hours today and we've come to the Caboolture area as we both have plenty of caches to find here.
Time for a slightly longer walk. We parked near this one on Summerfields Drive and did a circuit of the lake to get three smileys. This took a while to discover as there are so many similar hiding spots here. TFTC, Waz and Vik.

Nice little walk to make a quick find here. Signed the log and replaced cache as found. TFTC
This one took us ages to find - it turns out we were looking in the wrong area having been mislead by a previous log. Eventually spotted the well hidden cache. TNLNSL TFTC
After work today, stortigirls and I met up to find a few caches. Our phones had us searching in the wrong place to start with. I decided to expand the search a bit and spotted the cache right in front of me. We added our names to the log before continuing on our way. TFTC
I was out caching with Selva Girls after work trying to pick up a few smilies before dark. We arrived at gz and my gps didn't know where it wanted me. Over here!, no...wait...over there!...hang on....back over here! Ughh Luckily Selva Girls gps was more cooperative this afternoon and she made the find. Tftc Waz and Vik
A return visit here after a DNF last time - how did we manage to miss it!!! Our only excuse was that it was pouring with rain and the mozzies were making a meal of us. All good with the cache and returned as found. TFTC Waz and Vik
came back to get this one today no muggles when we arrived to made a dash for the cache as we finished upmore muggles arrived you need to be quick for this one TFTC
A free afternoon gave me the opportunity to find some newer caches which have been recently published between Caboolture and Bellthorpe. Last find for the day, quick easy find here.

Geokids tucked into bed and I pryed myself away from netflix to go play spotlight but really did end up playing duck duck goose...duck under this tree and ducked between spiderwebs, and then after signing log and returning to geomobile I realised I was a goose and had to go for my car keys I left at gz. Thanx for the very close to home cache!
Water returned to the lake, so we grabbed this one too... before the predicted deluge sets in again. Tftc
2TF @ 3 pm. Very wet underfoot here.
After a bit of two and froing here, I worked out where to look and the cache was there. Signed the log and returned to where I found it.
It really is ducks weather today.
A few ducks on the lake but definitely could not locate a goose.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Waz and Vik All good with this cache

After doing Black is Back, we arrived here and the rain had got even harder and we were soaked to the skin so our hearts were not in for a search. Will be back another day when its a lot dryer and the lake has returned back to where it belongs!!
We had just finished having something to eat when we noticed that a few new caches had been published not very far away from home. Well we did need to duck out to the shops sometime for some more bread, so why make a trip out to the lake on our way
We located the cache easily enough and with our name in the log book for another {FTF} we continued on our way.
Thank you Waz and Vik for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy
