Staying nearby, so as we walked home, I walked a bit extra to come grab this one.
Can’t leave the closest cache unfound!!
Log was completely soaked, so I added a new one. All good now.
Thanks for all your caches!

Found it! Found this one after the banana one and hey, this, in comparison was a piece of cake to find (or a slice of apple ? ) lol. Fun to find, however, the paper was wet and probably needs to be replaced
Nice and easy find here for M23, although he had a hard time getting there.

Could have been and endless search without the hint, and again, Pyphant made the find... He actually found ALL the caches today, I found NONE... Wow.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining, tftc.

Out and about for a spot of cache detection out east on this rather sunny day. I recall previous visits to this walkway. Anyway, I parked up and entered the reserve. I headed towards this fruit bowl first. Once near GZ it was a short off track scramble which resulted in a nice and quick find. Right, off to find number 2 now. Cheers for the cache placement!
Over this way today whilst the teenager was at college this afternoon, so decided to take a look at this series of caches as they haven't been found for a wee while....the sun was out for periods which meant for a pleasant walk and I thought there would not be too many people in this reserve, but I was wrong and only managed to locate this one before having to head back to college for the teenager....
The cache was all good.

Quickly found this one while on a walk in reserve after dropping the kids of nearby at their Grandparents house for a visit. Tftc
Made plans with TheWonderStuff to head out to the Eastern Beaches to target a number of caches that we both hadn't found.
We made our way carefully to GZ, as the ground was slippery after the recent, desperately needed rain. It took us a bit to find the nicely themed cache, having not looked closely on the first pass.

I made the rooky mistake of using my phone for the cache and the area actually has no signal! I still had GPRS but all the information I had was a location to head to... no maps or description or hint. Luckily the GPS was fairly accurate and after a small search the appropriately camoed cache was spotted! Glad to be out of there quickly as there were heaps of paper wasps flying around, TFTC!
Grippy shoes would have been handy but got there in the end! Trust the coordinates and all will be revealed. SL TFTC
I wondered about the name of this and all became clear when I found it. Tftc
We had to wait for a family of muggles to move on up the track before we could approach GZ. Coords were spot on, and we soon spotted the cache. We added a piece of paper as there was no log in this cache.
We had to wait for a couple of muggles to pass by before we could leave the track and find the cache which was found easily as co-ords were spot on
Having a bit of a frustrating time caching in this area this afternoon, with more than a few DNFs. When we failed to find Realm of the Nymph on our second visit, we decided to continue up the path and look for some fruit. GPS was not being very consistent, but past logs indicated where we should go. After a while the GPS settled down and a potential hiding placed was seen. And a quick search there revealed the Apple, looking a little the worst for wear. TFTC.
Made the found, but didn't quite understand the hide. Why in the bush like that? We where quite lucky finding it actually, cause searching the 2 of us using 2 devices at some point we where both at GZ (0 metres) but 50 feet away from eachother...
Did a little bit of backwards and forwarding on this one, should have trusted the gps more in hindsight rather than look for potential locations in the immediate area. Eventually I got to the right place, signed the log and headed back to the main track..... coated in hook grass which I’ve just plucked out of my hairy legs! TFTC, just had the call to pick up a family member so alas we’ll have to come back for the second another day.
And here I am, #100 cache, a day of DNF finds, an unacceptable amount of whinging and cussing and there it was. The little bush willies are incredibly tame, saved them from the local cat. Don’t know if the cat or I got a bigger fright as we ran into each other. Thank you for a very memorable cache
Out for a small this afternoon and collecting some caches too. A great walkway very peaceful and plenty of wildlife.Took us a while to find this cache.Gps was all over the place but persistance paid off here today.Found the cache and opps in our excitment dropped it but luckily it didnt go any further and we were able to retrieve it.good job it hadnt rained for a a while as this bank was slippery enough for us today perhaps one of us needed slightly more sensible footwear.A good hide.
Never turned right at the entrance before so a new area for me. Another very muddy slippery cache to get to, couldn't get back up the way I came down so had to find another route.

Its MrsNZT's birthday today and as a birthday wish we headed out to do some caching this morning. After a cooked breakfast we headed to music point to tidy up some unfound caches on our map.
After grabbing a banana, we decided to walk further along the track and collect an apple as well! saw a likely spot from the track and made a quick find. All good here, TFTC!

After failing to find a previous cache it was nice to make a quick find on this one. Cache is in good condition, TFTC.
Continued on down track from banana cache......this one was much easier....
Apple getting a little mouldy!
Thanks so much Coblets for showing me this lovely bushy walk....which although close to houses is really peaceful and private.
Enjoyed my walk here....

Tufty managed to find an entrance that suited us for both caches we needed to find and this was the first one on the list, no problems here and glad it hadn't been raining too much. TFTC
Mrs Team Welsh rang me yesterday and asked if I would accompany her on a tour of some of caches out East Auckland way today. I am never one to turn down a fun geocaching adventure so I agreed.
Very glad it hadn't rained for a day or two as it could have been a tad slippery in the wrong footwear.
Cheers for the cache.

Tftc. Found with minieme2003. Took a bit of finding as GPS was really jumpy. Perseverance paid off. Great camo.
Missed this one when it came out in Feb. Pity, cos it's quite close to home and one of my favorite tracks to run along. Had time this weekend, paid my respects to the Nymphs along the way. Had to be stealthy as a chap was mowing his lawn just on the other side and visible from GZ. Quick search in a few places and soon found, just after the mower finished off. Great idea for a cache here, much appreciated. TFTC
Up in Auckland for work again. I had a few hours to spare before meetings kicked in so I went off to find a few caches. Nearly time to finish up, so I had one last short walk up this walkway to see what I could find. On approach I saw that I might need to leave the track. Made my way carefully to GZ and found the cache exactly where it was supposed to be. Last cache for me today. Time to head to work. TFTC, Biggles.
I found the cache after a little wander around the area in a place that seemed big enough to have the cache. TFTC.
Out this way this morning for a trademe pickup and thought we'd find a couple before heading home. A few weeks ago we were in the area but ran out of time to do these two fruit bowl caches.
We parked up on Haseler Cres and enjoyed the walk to this one first. A short scramble down from the trail to GZ and soon realised that this was best not done in jandals.
A few spots were checked relating to the hint and the cache was in hand. I must say we do like apples. TFTC!

Bit of a fight through the trees. Once at GZ a nice quick find. Loved the apple. mozzies starting to bite.
FTF Made our way to GZ & checked a few spots. GPS a bit jumpy but we just kept looking & eventually earned a smiley. Nice camo.

After a failed attempt at trying to locate a nearby banana last night, when I returned to the area this morning I had to make the decision as to whether I try to re-find the banana or try looking for an apple as I was on a tight time schedule. So apple it was... which is how I came to be looking for this particular cache. So after arriving at GZ, this was a nice quick find... and when I opened the log I was second to find... 20 minutes too slow. Oh well. After I signed the log and put the cache back in its spot, I had to stay still as a couple of muggles were passing on the path and I would have frightened the living daylights out of them had I moved... am I too polite maybe? Anyway, thank you TheCoblets for taking the time to set up this cache. As always I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. At least this one didn't drive me bananas.
