I passed this one four years ago when the weather was too miserable to spend time looking. This time I tried to turn on the GPS at Lake Oberon but the batteries were flat. Luckily I remembered where I needed to look and had brought the photo clues with me. This meant I was able to make a quick find soon after exiting the hole, in perfect weather conditions.
On a soggy morning after a day spent sheltering in a tent at lake Oberon my merry mob of miscreants and I began the traverse to High moor. After being overwhelmed by some incredible views as the clouds cleared we arrived at the chute. IAS my friends set up rope to do a pack haul Sunshine and I scouted around looking for suspiciously placed rocks but I think the only things we found were secret poo caches . However once our packs were hauled and we found ourselves in the correct location, the cache was soon in hand. As you can see we were delighted.

Four of us did the Moraine A to K traverse over the period 15th to 22nd March. Incredibly we scarcely saw a cloud during the entirety of our walk. The two caches up here were definitely on our radar and fortunately both were found without any difficulty. With the marvellous weather we had, the walk was a succession of stunning view after stunning view. Absolutely glorious. There were a number of hairy spots though where one has to take a reasonable amount of care. Bit of pack hauling required in places to boot. An unforgettable experience. Both caches are in good order. Thanks for the cache bonus Team Justice, Clint & Abby.
We left Lake Oberon in drizzly conditions which deteriorated as we started climbing Mt Pegasus. We came up through the hole and soon after my GPS showed 1 metre to the cache but I didn't look for very long or hard due to the conditions.
