Location is somewhat compromised with railway sleepers recently piled high. Too dangerous for the kids to get too close. Will maybe reestablish in the future if site remains available??
Lost our caching mojo here!!! One of only 2 DNF's today.
Had two attempts at this one. One before tackling the nearby multi and then another after successfully finding that.
Read the logs, searched, read the logs again, searched again, no luck. Walked round and round trying to spot something but after about another 20 minutes there on our second attempt had to admit defeat.
Definitely missing something with this one.
Will try again next time we're up this way.
Thanks.

With the recent DNF, stopped by to check on this cache. Unable to locate, believe it to have been muggled or moved. Will endeavour to replace in the coming week or so.. thanks..!!
An easy find on my early morning walk. I love the history here and will be coming back to the museum later today. TFTC
This was a nice quick find while tying shoelaces after dropping off my car for a service across the road.
Many thanks for placing and maintaining this cache dankpig.

Doing a lap of Tassie over the next 2 weeks while here on holidays from Perth.
After spending the night in town we came down here in the morning to have a look after a trip to the Gorge. Kids enjoyed the tram ride. Quick find once at GZ. TFTC

High muggle area ... great find on way to museum thank you! Found with Reego_amigo
In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
It was a warm day, as we wandered around the CBD picking up a few of the hides. With no professionals about, there were few muggles about at midday, so it allowed us to make a quick find, unlike ordinary circumstances. Stopped here for a bite of lunch ourselves.
Thanks dankpig for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

I reckon that this was a "Train stop" rather than a Tramstop. I am old enough to remember the 4:30 rush as the Tas Gov't Railway workers blocked the road as they left the workshops at the end of their day! TFTC again dankpig!
Found... after several attempts. Not sure if the cache was exactly where it was meant to be though (or I’m not sure how we managed to miss it previously!) TY.
After looking through the museum on a wet Tasmanian day we walked over to look at the tram stop.
A quick find in between showers.
The geo kids enjoyed the team tracks and balanced all the way back!

Found with NoahJMc. So obvious, but this is the second time I’ve looked for this cache.
Back in Tassie finding caches published since our last visit and this was one of them
An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

With x3 recent DNF's in a row, dropped by today for a maintenance check. Cache is alive and well and exactly where it should be as per the hint - low and magnetic.. thanks..!!
We walk the dog by here quite regularly and have had a couple of searches with no luck. May just be expertly hidden (likely) or possibly muggled.
Mrs frilk and I are on our annual kidless long weekend. We arrived last night and after a great night's rest we set off for a day of walking interspersed with some caching (that was her view...mine was caching interspersed with walking!).
A quick find. TFTC.

Sat in the sunshine on the edge of the stop, grabbed the container , signed the log and replaced in easy fashion. TNLN. TFTC!
So after finishing competing in the Subaru Tas Rally I discovered I’d been 40m away from this cache quite a bit of the weekend!! Had to go in search....
While in Launceston we thought we would grab a few around the town and this was one we found. A cold, drizzly and then pouring rain made for few muggles to disturb us on our caching hunt today. A good hide and a good hint, deserves a favourite. When I saw what it was hidden on I thought I might be here awhile but had it in hand by the time Mr W had found a car park. TFTC
This one was a quick easy cache but very well made and fits in perfectly, i think we were a bit lucky tbh.
Thanks for the cache.
Myself and goose of gooseandegg planned a trip North into the badlands to get some caches to help with our hidden creatures finds, early start for a Saturday with me picking Goose up at around 7 O'clock even with a couple of stops along the way we made good time which helped us to clock up 42 finds on the Saturday and 24 on the Sunday before heading back to the civilised South, getting back in my drive at just gone 6pm with 580kms under my belt, 66 caches in 35 hours while not a bad haul is less than 2 an hour, I must try harder next time!

I love this area, there is so much to see and do tucked away in the sheds. The tram museum is my favourite. We parked as close as we could (you can see SSRs new wheels in the photo) and were quickly shunted to GZ. Stainless steel rat wasted no time in finding this cache. All I did was write on the log sheet Thanks dankpig
Hello dankpig thank you for the cache.
A quick find in the dark waht a great cache.
I wanted to find some caches so I could get some Hidden Creatures souvenirs that I can proudly display on my profile page that no one will see.
I travelled up from Hobart for this search.

Have looked at this tram stop while driving along Invermay Rd, but never stopped for a closer look. And amazingly not being notice by the traffic passing by as I unstealthily search for the cache. TFTC Dankpig
The second quick find on the way to York Park to see the Hawks vs suns with a trip to the museum in between. tftc
Good hide! Easy find but there is no pen. You might go across the road to borrow it from restaurant like we did.
Thanks to the hint I identified the hide as I approached. Nice strong container. TFTC
TFTC. Shame I was here late in the afternoon and didn't get to visit the tram museum
#2957 at 11pm. Visiting from Canberra with the M team. Our TL made the find. No muggles at this time of night. Replaced as found. TFBMH Dankpig.
Had to circle around a few times to spot it. Bit of an interesting challenge trying to look casual with the heavy traffic.
Decided to grab this one at lunchtime today. I had found it during the AFL footy match a few days ago but didn't have a pen to sign it...doh...so knew exactly where it was. A stealthy move and I had the logbook signed and cache returned in no time TFTC dankpig.
Back home in Tasmania for a few days, in the process of collecting the new caches around! Nice and easy find TFTC

Out today on our bikes to collect some more planet souvenirs. Despite it being a muggly Saturday this was an easy grab. TFTC!
After visiting George Town to look for a cache that had been published today, we came back into Launceston to look for some of the caches that had been published whilst we were on the northern island. This was the second one we looked for in Launceston.
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of an exceptionally well designed, constructed and placed cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks dankpig for another very thoughtful and skilful cache - it earns a favourite from us.

Just got a FTF on a cache nearby and realised that I was very close to another cache that I hadn’t found so a quick detour had me at GZ. No one around and it was a quick grab and run. Another cache well hidden from muggles. TFTC
Once I got my bearings and the clue made sense. Quick find was had.
Thanks Dankpig
Thanks Dankpig
Luck there wasn't really anyone around when I found it. Quick grab and go. Knew exaclty where to look since I am very familiar with this area. I was a student at the campus for years.
