Found it with the QR code but unable to open it and sign it. Possibly needs maintenance.
Found the qr code but unable to sign it going to say weekend over the dip when leaving
I came, and I found the outer container the link offered nothing. I could not open the outer cache container even though I thought I had a fair idea of what was holding it together. Will limited time because of an appointment I shall have to return. BTW cool Dip, not quite what I was expecting.
Found! Very wet in the surrounding areas. The dip is very cool. Did a big 'WEEEEEE' Driving across
With restrictions lifted in Regional Vic once again it was time to get out the house and enjoy the outdoors. I found part on f the cache on the ground, it was obvious where it should go so I placed it back together. I have not seen one like this before so giving it a FAV
We decided to take a bit of a detour to find this one. We found an interesting feature in the road and an even more interesting cache container.
We have never seen one like this before. A favourite point from us.
Thanks SansMary.
Chiefton!!!

Cool container. Great little spot. I live 5 minutes away but had never heard of the 'dip'. Thanks for being us to this location.
Found with GeoHubby TB142 and GeoFriend RogerZ1956 and Nature Girl. TFTC. Log is very wet.
Absolutely loved this cache, clever hide. The log was wet and probably needs replacing, a bit hard to write on. TFTC, Silkyie.
Found with Brigstar and Mangomermaid.
Dad isn’t a premium member but he has replaced the plastic bag as this one wasn’t waterproof.
Will sign up soon for it soon though, thank you for this cache
Also log was pretty wet.

Awesome find! Briggstar found this one first! Was a race in the rain! Briggstar replaced the zip lock bag as it was very wet and log book was soaking
Found with buffalo briggzie too

Oddly at the start of this road was a sign saying "No thru Road" but my GPS said is it and I did drive all the way thru.
Took a while to find this one as I had searched all the signs and then went back to the first one and then found it on the ground in the long grass.
Returned as should be after waiting for the peak hour traffic to pass. I expected it to be quieter on this back road
Thanks for the cache Sans Mary

The interesting places you find doing geos. This dip is pretty awesome, wouldn't like to hit it at speed though. Rainy today and from the markers either side of the dip it can flood pretty well too. Tftc
We play the road trip game sometimes and come up with dip words. Here we just came up with the cache. TFTC
Serendipity. Cheese dip. Diploma.
Found on another epic caching loop with H423L which included the St Arnaud mega and many other magnificent Australian locations.
Thanks SansMary and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

Fresh from just finding Victoria's most unloved cache by mid morning, Ilukaperi and I were grabbing caches on our way back to Traralgon after having lunch at Walhalla. This was a nice pretty drive, which I don't think I have ever done before in all the years I have been coming to Walhalla.
A very cool cache container. The co-ordinates that I entered into the sat nav in the car pointed to one side of the road, which we searched for quite a while. The hint was quite specific, but it wasn't helping. That's when I loaded up the GPS on the phone, which took me to the other side of the road, to another object matching the hint. But, try as I might, I couldn't spot it. That was until ilukaperi pointed out the ingenious, hidden in plain sight, container. Very cool. Have not seen one of these before and would dearly love to seemore of them.
TFTC!

This was a cool cache container, I have never seen it before, it took us a little while since the phones were pointing us to the wrong side of the road. Day1976 was searching around when I pointed out the sneaky hide.
Well that is a decent dip. And a decent cache to. I like. Cache found in good condition. Tftc
Tftc. Second for the afternoon. Lived in Traralgon for most of my life and just maybe ventured down this Old Maffra Rd but pre concrete causeway. Neat little holder which I haven't come across before.
Out for a motorbike ride on a glorious, sunny last day of winter. Certainly an impressive dip! Tftc
A quick find on the way to our usual Sunday morning shopping trip, and another road I'd never been on! We'd seen this nifty type of cache before, so a quick grab and sign and we were on our way. Tftc!
After a long break due to Petal's life threatening illness, we decided to ease our way into a few caches today, so made this cache a stop on our outing. A quick find here and the log was soon filled and returned.
Thanks for the cache placement here today.
A favourite point here for this one.

The cache needs a little bit of love, so will be disabled while a new bit is made to fix the broken bit :- )
Found by Mary and David, with Mrs Crackers and Mrs Coffee, at 1529. After the Latrobe Valley Geocaching Event earlier, we set off to target the COTY_nominated caches in the area. The advisory speed sign here means what it says, so we didn't get airborne or bottom out. Congratulations on your COTY nomination. We'd read good reports about this one, but spent a few minutes searching in the wrong area before widening our search. Mrs Coffee came up with the find, and we admired the construction that was clearly custom-made for it's spot. The outer container had sustained a small breakage (that didn't affect it's use, although another similar failure might do so in future). The engineer tried to repair it with some superglue, but it wouldn't stick. The CO may wish to check it out. Our thanks to SansMary.
Found the well constructed cache with Maccamob and Team Crackers. Took a little bit of searching but there in the end.
Thanks,

I was lazing about this morning scrolling through my facebook feed, when I saw that Bushies had started making hot cross buns again. I could go for a drive i thought.. but its a long way to go for them.
Then i thought that i hadnt been Geocaching in a while an thought I would do some of the ones in Toongabbie. I messaged GrannyGeo to ask if she wanted to come out with me.
We headed home and and decided to stop off an do this one as its the only one in the area i hadnt done. I dont even remember it being released or hearing anything about it. "Its been nominated for the GeoAwards for the best cache," Granny read and told me.
That's cool I thought, but I didnt really have any expectations. I was pleasantly surprised!!! I was busy discussing the 'dip' and how being on such a rural road in the middle of nowhere and the danger that it would have provided if i hadnt planned to have stopped at it. It was really surprising and dont think ive come across anything like it on a road before.
Granny found this one. As I was trying to get the log and the amazingness of this cache presented itself, I couldnt quite believe the effort that must have gone into it.
Thank you so much for this cache. It was pretty cool. A definite Fav for me.

Out and about enjoying some sight seeing and finding a few caches. This one was a short detour and we were grateful to read the 20km warning and yet as we approached it would be so easy to be fooled and approach a bit faster. What a speed trap. Great container and an interesting location that we would otherwise have bypassed. Thanks for the cache and congratulations on the nomination.
Congratulations!

We are slowly managing to fill our calendar grid, seeking out all the reasonably local hides to our home in Churchill to help us with the task. We really should have found this one ages ago as Mr Ski's older brother lives in Tyers, so we can't count the number of times we have driven straight past this road without investigating what is down here!
This one took us a while as we made the usual assumptions about where we thought it would be. once we let the GPS settle though we got close to GZ promptly. That is where the fun began. A lot of overgrown grass and vegetation, and a cache container that had been put back incorrectly made the task of actually finding this one more challenging that it needed to be, but we got there in the end.
A very good hide that we carefully put back in its correct spot, and with its correct orientation!

It took me a while, but I found it concealed by nature as well as the intended camo and I hope the residents didn't mind me scavenging around the side of the road like a weirdo. Nice job, TFTC!
Had to do a quick trip over to the valley today. Errands finished and time for a couple of caches, so decided to come for a drive out here and see what this dip was all about. Wowsers! That’s a ripper! Looks more like something our shire (Wellington) would do, haha - bet it has caught more than a few out over its time. Thanks for showing us this marvel, a fav point for the spot plus of course the clever container! SL TFTC
Oh Dip. Dip Indeed
Found on the way to the shops, and made this find.
Great making the container.
Sometimes i think i would like a machine like the one that made this cache.
Out caching with d@geo
Thank you for the hide SansMary

In the area with gwd.aussie working on my hidden date calendar which brought us here. Thankfully gwd.aussie quickly spotted this well crafted hide.

A warning to those approaching this cache by car - they aren’t joking when the sign says “Dip”. It’s a very deep dip. We wandered around the area and the finding device indicated an object that we examined carefully with no apparent cache. Then I got desperate and started trying everything. Suddenly something came apart in my hands and I’d found the cache! I’d never seen such a wonderful cache a favourite point is coming this way.
When surefoot24 and muggle partner called and asked whether I would like a day out? What would the answer be? Yes, please. The first of the day for me and has to have a favourite point as I haven't seen a container like this before

This was the first cache we looked for, and found obviously, after heading north from the Princes Fwy toward Walhalla. This was a rather unusual cache container/hide and not one we have seen before and because of that and the, er, "dip" feature I reckon this one will make it into my favourites! Just as well I was just "puttering" along the road rather than the usual high speed approach!
TFTC (& kudo the the CO for not using one of those damn leaky Sistema contraptions!)

On one of our day trips we found this one and it's one of my favourites as it was different, the cows and their calves were so interested in us too, worth the visit.

Out for a quick cache with NoonaB who quickly spotted this cache, a very well crafted cache hidden in plain sight, I love it.. but that road... Why would they make it.like that?!? So.many people must come unstuck here.. but a great spot for a cache
Found this one on a quick afternoon cleaning up the last few caches around Traralgon. What a bizarre location, why on earth would anyone build a section of road like this instead of putting a bridge in? Loved the location, not a road I’d ever have travelled down if not for this cache. Thanks for the creative hide
I found your cache on a nice sunny morning.
I liked the hide.

I had to wait for this crazy wet & windy weather to ease up so I could get out of the car and finally when it got better I dashed over for a look at the very well hidden masterful cache, like your work...TFTC
Well here's to the most epic dip ever! What a RIPPER!!!! Decided to use this lovely new one to fill a spot on the calendar (which just happens to have a huuuuge barren stretch in March for no good reason) so loaded up munchkin 1 earlier than needed and headed here before heading to get munchkin 2. Of course munchkin 1 wanted to get out and check out this great dip too so we both approached gz, me gobsmacked at the awesome container I was sure I was eyeballing and munchkin 1 trying to pull me to the concrete. Brilliant container, definitely my first of this nature and a fav for me. After replacement we walked the whole length of the dip and back again although some of the dip experience was definitely lost at walking pace! Thanks for a great cache!
Wonder how many this DIP has caught out over the years. Oh the damage that would be caused.
A very quick find with something that looked different. TFTC

At the time this cache was published, I was wiping a bottom that's not mine. Once the toddler was confined to bed, and then his brother too, I saw the notification but thought, meh, it'll be gone. So I watered the garden and decided to go for a drive anyway. Despite living in Traralgon for 10 years now, I've not been down this back road and have been missing out on a really spectacular dip! Thank you so much for bringing me to it, it's great! I pulled over and spotted a divvy van in the next driveway.....they watched me but decided I was worth ignoring, I made a quick job of finding and signing the clever cache as *FTF* . That's camo I've not seen before! A cool location that only locals know + a cool container = a favourite point from me. Congratulations on your first hide.

Arrived home and checked my emails ... bugger a new cache an hour ago .. and I'd just driven "past" that area .... I check the log. Not logged yet .. still a chance ...
I drove to GZ and quickly found the cute cache container ... . alas . ... already found.
=======
I didn't know about this dip until I drove a local kid home after a play date ... we were driving along, i saw the dip sign but didn't appreciate the extent of the dip until the last second .. I hit the picks and rode through the dip faster than I would have liked but fortunately no under carriage damage to the car.
I bet it has screwed more than a few cars over the years.
The locals must listen for the crunch everytime a speeding car takes their little shortcut.
tftc .. congratulations on your first hide.
