What a stunning view from the top dont just find the cache, walk to the top!Enjoying two weeks on Norfolk Island always wanted to visit, now Im here! And theres caches of course! Beautiful place, thank you endeavour3 for placing this game piece here, showcasing this lovely area and contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
Logbook has now been dried out and placed in a new cache container. Hopefully this will keep the water out. Also, dropping off a trackable that I picked up in Sweden during my recent travels
Found, but in bad condition. Found the bottom of the container lying out in the open. A search around located the lid and log book. Log book saturated, as the baggie wasn't sealed. Put back together, and placed inside the large nearby object and covered. Maintenance needed. CheersBundy
Absolutely gorgeous location - thanks for placing a cache in this perfect spot! ??
#7531- After doing the AL at the Botanic gardens, we headed to the north east of the island. A lovely spot here. Did a bit of a cito as someone had left their beer bottles behind. Thanks - easy find.
We spent a fun and productive week geocaching on Norfolk Island, as well as seeing the spectacular views. We also did several tours and other activities on offer, which highlighted different aspects of the island life and history. Had to be careful at this one as there were muggles around. Thanks for this cache.
Found during our geocaching week on Norfolk Island. Some muggles turned up but we managed to find and sign the log without attraction their attentiom. All was then returned to place. Endeavour3 gets our thanks for placing so many caches all over the island.
Found with Ris768 while travelling on Norfolk Island TFTCLog 3325Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache endeavour3
On our way here, a park ranger asked if everything was ok, to which we said sure, we are looking for geocaches. He still wasnt sure about us but when he got back in the car his offsider tried to explain. When we arrived, we found the cache and waved it at him so he got it. Walking just a short way up the hill you find a truly peaceful place where you can sit and watch the sea and the land and the weather passing by.
Another lovely spot. Signed log as G8, for ItsDozzie, Everest High, Max Adventurer, Tardis, Ziggyau, Brewmaker, Cryptic8 and 4Rods. Thanks endeavour3.
We've been getting up close and personal with the flora quite a bit here. Found with MummyPenny in fading light this evening. Thanks endeavour3.
#7586 NI Day 4With no organised events until late this afternoon, we headed out after breakfast to focus on the north eastern part of the island. End of the road and no plans to enjoy the walking tracks today. We did closely inspect some botanical features to add our names to the log.TFTC endeavour3
My buddies: bella at waggyAfter the Bird Rock Trad and EC, we came here to find the cache. The cache was where the hint said! The air here is so fresh! We saw a little sparrow like bird flutter around us as we wrote our names in the logbook Norfolk is gorgeous!Thank you endeavour3, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot.Follow my story on Instagram @AlphaDeltaIndigo
Found with ADI after our trek out to Bird Rock cache. A nice setting and a quick find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Found with oldmorty.Id be very uncomfortable looking for this cache at a busy time. Thanks to the CO for the cache.
OCW frazeydaze. I sent frazeydaze to wrestle the Norfolk pine and find this one which was our last cache for the day. Cache all good. SLRC as found. TFTC.
A fairly quick find before starting out on a pleasant walk through this beautiful area. TFTC
Love the history. After finding the cache, I took the lovely walk around the circuit. This is not only an outstanding picnic area, but if you walk a little way o nthe track you end up in a lovely clearing where the house used to stand. The views from here are amazing and there is also a picnic bench and lovely lawn up here. The palm glen is a beautiful walk through the rainforest, lots of bird call. I really liked this part of the national park. Thanks for showing me this.
Again, something you might walk right past if not for geocaching. Lovely spot!
Day 5 of my Norfolk Island adventure. I can understand why people want to live here . Its a little bit of paradise. Wow so much history on the island, Im enjoying my wandering seeing the sites . Some logs signed as N2OThis is my 12105find.Thankyou endeavour3 for placing and maintaining this cache
Meandered down Red Rd from the Summit track to find this cache. Negotiated the spider webs and found our 5th cache for the morning. Lovely spot with constant bird song. TFTC
Lovely walk around Palm Glen. Squeezed in to grab this one hadnt planned on getting so intimate with a Norfolk Pine, but there you go. At least there didnt seem to be any sticky sap! TFTC
Beautiful spot tucked out of the way and off the tourist maps. The road was a bit rough in spots but made it to the top in the little rental. Easy find on site, thanks endeavour3
T-Tech and I are visiting Norfolk Island for our 40th anniversary. We arrived from Brisbane and are staying for 2 weeks at Endeavour Lodge, and plan to get some R&R, see all of the sites, learn the history, and gather every cache here so we can claim the Se Dun Challenge Today's plan is to visit the Cascade area, and having completed that we made our way up to Palm Glen, as there are two caches we needed to grab. T-Tech did the dive for this one, and then we went up to the grassy knoll to take in the view. TFTC, endeavour3.
Over with IolantheK from Brisbane celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary [^]Todays cache collection is brought to you from the east side!!Nice easy find for the last one for the day. Now up the hill a bit further for a nice view over Burn Pine [^]TFTC endeavour3

Find # 10477Day 4 in Norfolk, here for a week of caching fun with geofriends Joolay, barb2e, StrangeTrousers, and iPlod. Zoom zoom zooming around in Kermit (green not red) Logging as DEMCBR.Wild and wooly weather here again today This was a quick and easy find and here at Palm Glen today. Thanks so much for the many caches endeavour3 and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light
On holiday in Norfolk Island with StrangeTrousers. Beautiful Island. TFTC signed as DEM CBR
# 8958 Norfolk Day 4, team "Dem CBR" myself, iPlod65, Joolay, barb2e and contesta had another fantastic day of caching and exploration. Another day of hard climbs starting with a trip to Bird Rock. It's a steep walk down there and even harder back up. The rewards were there withe great views and some whales to watch. Then we headed over to Cascade Bay to grab the caches over there. It's a rough path to cascades along the cliffs but well worth the trip. Logs signed collectively "Dem CBR", which in local parlance is "them from Canberra".Another lovely spot. Thanks endeavour3 for the Traditional Cache
During July my wife and I took a break from Melbourne and spent a wonderful week on the Island - the first time for me (but hopefully not the last) and the second for her. Such a delightful place! I took my GPSr, with the traditionals downloaded (I don't really make the time to do puzzles or multis) and figured I would find a few as we went around the place. I never had any intention of finding all 41 of them, but somewhere around day 5 I realised it was actually feasible.
In the end it was a close call - one quite tough-to-get-to cache (Bird Island) I had to visit twice after not reading the description before my first visit and discovering it is really a multi and then stuffing up the calculations so I had an almost blind search for the cache; another (St Barnabas) was out of its hidey hole so took three visits before I found it among some fallen leaves nearby). But I got there and managed to claim them all.
In the interests of saving the limited data on my phone, I only look placeholder drafts during the week and am completing them back home, a month later. So with all due apologies, they are going to be pretty generic for the most part. But I will add comments about those that I particularly remember. No matter how detailed the final logs, I want to say a big thanks to those who have placed the caches and those who continue to maintain them. I had great fun finding them and they really helped make sure I saw as much of the Island as possible. So - a big and sincere TFTC

This one was unexpectedly tricky to locate and access, but as almost the last traditional remaining for me to find, there was no way it was going unfound. So find it I did before heading off for my second visit to Bird Rock and my all important quest to find the cache there.

A couple of cars in the car park when Mrs. Gunnie and I arrived, but the area around GZ was deserted, so I nipped in for a scout around before hitting the trails. GZ became obvious as I drew close and with a swift scan, the container was spotted and retrieved. I etched my name in the log and tucked it back then it was time to wander around the circuit.
We misread one sign and managed to end up on the Red Road Track which, despite the sign suggesting it was an easy walk, was perhaps not the case. Many steps and a decent incline does not align with the word 'easy' I suspect... [xx(]
That aside, we survived and made it back to the starting point without issue.
Cheers endeavour3.

What a beautiful area this is. Thank you for bringing us here. It is a wonderful picnic spot and area to explore. Would like to come back one day to spend more time here. Thanks for the cache found on our day exploring the island.
Teahouse was shut when we arrived. Reminds me of some tourist walks in Europe where there are cafe/teahouses on top of hills. The cache was safe and sound on its little nook and was replaced after I defaced a blank spot on the log sheet. Tftc, endeavour3.
A quick find by Just_Jess! with ktbrwn1 as well. Left a unicorn pencil and stayed for a walk around the trails. TFTC
Miss Em dived in to grab this one. We’re out with dabble2899 and this is the last stop before lunch.
Under my favourite tree, if you look up you can see a deformation in the pine needles that looks like coral.
Found this morning before our 2pm flight out. Nice easy search, but a little more difficult reaching. Thanks Endeavour3 for all the caches. I couldn't get them all, but there is always next time. Greetings from the Blue Mountains NSW.
Found instantly
Happy birthday to a kid having a party next to us

TFTC,
First cache for the day. We thought we were heading to a Multi that we completed yesterday but missed the turn and came for this one.

Our 2nd day on Norfolk Island, Wazza9 made the find, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to endeavour3
On 15 October 2022 a new batch of prisoners were shipped out of Brisbane to spend 7 days incarcerated on Norfolk Island. It has now been 2 nights and 3 days into their sentence at Ocean Breeze Cottages.
The prisoners have made several unsuccessful attempts to find escape routes from the Island. To date including today's visit to the whaling station.each of these attempts has been fruitless.
It was time to again seek refuge in the high country. Here is so far away not a soul is likely to find us. Except for those muggles that just keep popping up everywhere. The island is a little less than 35 square kilometres and it is only 8 km long and 5 km wide. I'm not sure we can remain undiscovered for long.

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Certainly a big tree at one time.
Our second early morning pickup in National Park. A straightforward find in an obvious spot. Signed log and replaced. TFTC endeavour3
Find Number 2508 found at 14:53. Today we found 3 caches. We had 0 DNF's.
Day 3 of our holiday on Norfolk Island. Today we visited a number of local businesses on the "Over the Cattlestops" tour in the morning and had the Island Fish Fry for dinner.
This took me far longer than it should. I viewed the stump from lots of different angles, without success. Eventually I got down on hands and knees and grovelled around and finally unearthed the container.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks endeavour3 for the cache.

Time to head to Norfolk Island to celabrate our 70th birthdays. When we were here before we were not geocachers, this visit will be spent gathering geocaches and revisiting our favourite places. Our appologies for the generic logs it does not take away the enjoyment we have found in the fantastic places athey have been placed and all the different styles of caches that we are enjoying,

Norfolk Island and Sydney trip, Day 3, Norfolk Island.
After our event this morning headed into the National Park. The road looked flaky, but was fine, the only slippery bit was the turnaround at the end.

After breakfast, Mum and Oliver dropped us at the carpark here so they could go swimming and shopping while we had a nice walk through the National Park grabbing 5 caches throughout the period of our walk. Really nice area to hike and get some caches in the process!
After doing the full walk around the national park, we made our way from Jims Corner, up the hill, all the way to the loop track through Palm Glen. Quick walk from the top of the hill down and quickly found the cache at the bottom of the hill in its hide. Cache is in good condition!

While my wife and youngest were swimming, Samuel and I went bushwalking. We were going to leave it until the weekend, but didn't want to chance the rain - it even started to threaten again today as we drove up the mountain.
Approaching from Jims Corner after doing Bird Rock, we opted out of the Palm Glen loop walk today and cut through on the access trail.
Samuel ducked in for the find, then we had another fill of cherry guavas from the tree just down the road. TFTC!

TFTF. Weather has been perfect for our caching expeditions. Lovely quiet spot to walk and breathe in the fresh air.
We’re letting caches guide us around the island and boy! we’re seeing some really special spots.
This place has a great picnic and bbq area nearby for our lunch.
Wow! What a lovely big stump that is.
Thank you for the cache and showing us this place.

Spending the day caching around Norfolk Island between a few showers. We covered quite a bit of the island and traveled along many of the minor roads.
Thanks to the COs who have placed hides on the island as well as Endeavour3 who has many caches, as well as maintaining the caches of others.

Today was our first full day on NI with the weather overcast and only a few short showers. Due to the number of caches found, will do a generic log. Thank you to the CO's for placing these caches in the respective location. These caches brought us to many great views of this beautiful islands. TFTC Endeavour3
