I've been here today to check the cache. The cache has been vandalised so I decided to archive the cache on 20 April.

An absolutely out of this world cache. One of the best put-together that I've ever seen. A little tough to get to through the bush, but well worth it. A few mozzies around as well in this damp weather, but again worth it.
I took 2 TBs to take back to England with me. Have a well deserved favourite point, TFTC.

We took a longer path here, in our flip flops... I guess we will never learn how to do caching in Australia! Anyhow, we found great cache, signed to log and dropped three tbs. Thank you for the cache and effort put into it!
Back again to pick up a TB to take home to Western Australia.
Couldn't access the previous logs so didn't check the contents as has recently been requested. Sorry.

TB Drop! Team R3MC0 - I'll try and get down there at some stage and see if I can spot your TB too!
G'day from The Netherlands! My Travel Bug "1500" has been dropped in this cache back in August and has not moved nor has been spotted) since then: would either the CO or a visiting geocacher be able to check the current hotel occupants please?
Thanks a lot, happy caching!
Thanks a lot, happy caching!
What a great geocache! Exploring selected caches around Sydney with the NZGA 2019 group and we were repeatedly surprised by this cache. Too cool, a fav from me for sure. Thanks for setting this one up, great job with the treasure TB hotel!
Squirrel! I am one of the 30odd cachers and i am visiting from Tennessee , with muggles, and friends traveling to New Zealand and Australia. We signed or stamped the logs as NZGA2019 aka New Zealand Geocaching Adventure 2019. It is a 25 day adventure through 9 different cities between the two countries.
all is good, so cache on!

I am visiting from Beautiful British Columbia, Canada along with others from Canada, the USA, and Puerto Rico. Our cruise has now ended and we are spending a few days in the Sydney area. We are signing logs as NZGA 2019 on behalf of the group. Thanks for placing these caches for us to find and for adding to our fun day.
We are having a grand time sightseeing in this beautiful part of the world, caching along the way. Our group stamps logs NZGA2019, which stands for New Zealand Geocaching Adventure 2019. We represent Puerto Rico, Canada, and my home, the USA. We all got a kick out of the neat TB Hotel:). Here's another favorite vote!
I’m a Canadian Cacher with a group of 32 others that were on board the Celebrity Solstice cruising around New Zealand and Australia with caching in ports - we are from US, Puerto Rico and Canada. Signing logs NZGA2019 (New Zealand Geocaching Adventure 2019) TFTC
I am visiting from Rhode Island with a large group (31) of Geocachers from USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico. We will be signing as NZGA 2019 (New Zealand Geocaching Adventure 2019) to save room on the logs. We are out caching on this beautiful day in your wonderful country. If answers or pictures are required one if us will send them soon. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache!
Found with the New Zealand/Australia Geocaching Adventure 2019 group. We stamped the logs with our group Initials NZGA2019 to save time and to save space on the log. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to find. If answers or pictures are required, they will be sent by at least one of the members of our group.

Awesome cache find. Our group made the hike Dow this afternoon while on a bit of a caching tour by minibus. The cache container was awesome. Thanks for the imaginative cache hide.
Clever cache, very well done with a lot of thought. With the NZGA group. Fav. TFTC
Caching with the NZGA 2019 cachers. We are from USA, CANADA AND PORTI RICO. Sorry the wild fires have done so much damage and made tourism difficult.
Traveling with the NZGA 2019 group from US, Canada and Puerto Rico. Wow! Fantastic container! Dropped tbs and pathtags
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Found while out caching with the New Zealand/Australia Geocaching Adventure 2019 group. Like this one. TFTC.
Oh my gosh! What a fantastic cache and each level of looking was better than the last. Nicely done, bit hard to get too, but well worth it. We are a large group of cachers/muggle spouses from Canada, US and Puerto Rico. Calling ourselves and marking cache logs as NZGA2019 (New Zealand Geocaching Adventure 2019 group, as we started our adventure on a cruise from Auckland). Nicely done. We hired a driver with small bus to take us to old and favorited caches in the area. TFTC
Found as part of the 33 caching group from the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. We stamped the log with NZGA2019 to save space on the log pages. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache that added to our caching adventures.
Greetings from St Louis, MO. Traveling with other geocachers from the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico. Signed the log as NZGA2019. TFTC
I am traveling with 32 other people, most of whom are geocachers. We are from all over the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. We are signing logs NZGA2019 (New Zealand Geocaching Adventure, even though we are now in Australia ). Today is our last day in Sydney. Wish I could have given this more than one favorite point.
Took a while to find the box ....
but than: WOW what a cache!
Dropped 2 TBs and discovered 2.
Many thanks for this one.

With the sun going down I was wondering whether to seek out this last cache or whether to go more directly to the train station. So I came this way with no idea what I might see. Wow! I'm glad I didn't skip this, huge cache filled with lots of treasure! So very well done. I took no trackables, and left no trackables, but will discover the ones I saw in the cache. I also noted the trackable logbook (is it a logbook?) and wondered what to write in it, but it's blank so I wasn't game to defile its virgin pages. But I did sign the proper logbook. Put everything back as found. Great cache! Thanks for putting so much effort into this. Cheers
Treasure indeed!
Delighted to find a TB cache just a few minutes walk from where we are visiting family, and what a great container.
Exchanged trackables.

With several challenge caches signed earlier in the year we set about today to try and complete some of those challenges ...in particular the challenges which required a total of 50 large cache finds. A nice walk down to GZ as the cool breeze came up the harbour adding some relief to the morning heat. With the cache in hand we all signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache HUNbat - a favourite point worthy cache.

Took a while to get to the right elevation but glad I found it! I swapped a TB and will definitely return here in future. Next time I’ll bring the foreign coins I’ve accumulated over the years and leave them as treasure! TFTC!
Found this awesome Cache this morning. A fav point for sure. Probably the biggest cache I’ve seen!
I fixed the inside of the cache today but I have to go back and replace the moving parts on the surface. I also droped some TBs.
I'm over in Sydney for a few work meetings this week but I had some spare time today so I went for a walk to find a few caches (kind of) near where I'm staying. One of my objectives on this visit was to get to this cache. I was intrigued by the legend and had some trackables to swap too. I found my way to GZ but stopped a bit short of the cache and looked in some wrong places before I got down to business and there it was. Very cool hide indeed. Thanks for the fun and TFTC, Biggles.
Found today whilst on a trip home from California. This one is very close to my childhood home and I have fond memories of tearing the bush on our BMX bikes as a kid and simply love this place. Another awesome cache by the CO. I’ve seen some great caches over the years and this one like the last one is up there with the best. How many favs can you give? No wait, really? Ok. SL TNLN TFTC

Dropped some TBs and discovered some. Lots of inventory seems to be taken without logging them
I checked the cache today.
Condition is normal, though I have to fix some parts of it. It'll be done next week.
Some TBs are missing from the cache I hope they will sort themselves out.
If there are less than 8 TBs in there, please help me with leaving one more than what you took.
Thanks

As part of preparations for an overseas trip to both Europe and US, it's only fair to check if there are TB's wanting to travel. Additionally, I wanted to target a large-sized cache, and this particular cache fitted both bills. Nice! [^]
I approached the GZ from the path "up" from here and had to take a few sidesteps to get here. But my goodness, this hide has style! The effort put into this is fantastic, a service to the caching community! One of the best implementations I've seen around, including the cache guardian. We did high-fives as he was in an exceptionally good mood today. Where are the triple-faves when you need them???
Of the inventory of six TB's or coins only *one* - one - was present! I had earmarked four to follow me to overseas but none of those where in the cache. That's really disappointing!
Better bookkeeping by the cachers would be helpful, please. That is, mark the drop offs and retrievals so the whereabouts of the goodies are always known. As the owner of multiple TB's I always appreciate seeing a log come through as it means the TB is still going strong.
In addition to the one listed TB, there were two other ones which had not been dropped off yet. That's OK, their goals were to travel and that they will do, for sure: I'm offering 15,000 and 25,000 km trips to them.
All in excellent condition here and well organised. TFTC, HUNbat!

Today I went for a cache trip around the foreshore of our beautiful harbour. Coming to the end of my caching afternoon this cache was the best one. What a great hide and well worth a favourite!

An afternoon walk through bushland searching for treasure seemed like a great idea.
I wish I’d started slightly earlier and avoided the mosquitos and spiders that were out in force.
After some back and forth along the path, I finally spied a faint geotrack and carefully picked my way through.
Eventually I found my way down a little and spied the hide, magnificent!
What wonderful construction and what a joy to find such a large cache so close to suburbia.
A favourite point from me for sure.
Left a trackable as well.

A chance encounter with BoogieRogue in Castle Cove a few weeks ago mentioned this cache. Given I used to be very active in the area, I was surprised that this one fell off my radar.
Anyways, it was a pleasant Saturday morning and I needed to pick up something somewhat nearby so decided to have a crack with Baby J Man.
Know the tracks around here well and so a short stroll later ended up at GZ (a few cacher trails are apparent). Baby J Man spotted something amiss and went to have a closer look where we uncovered the great cache.
Not too many TBs in the Hotel so decided to leave them there.
Thanks HUNbat - definitely great to find a cache with a bit of extra effort.

Found with BillHill531 and my youngest son on a trip to Sydney for some points to reach 500 for the last souvenir. We were aiming for 25-50 point caches and achieved our goal just in time before dark, then found two extras. We also stopped for an hour at the new official Lego store in Bondi. A great day with 14 caches found and no DNFs.
Our twelfth stop. A large cache with lots of favourites? Yes please! This was awesome. Well deserving of another favourite. And now we have enough points for the 500 points souvenir. Home time... maybe...

Another walk along the harbour to Greenwich Point for the ferry home, this time from Waverton Station collecting two unfound cache on the way. After finding the Pearl I headed to this one and managed to get within 20 metres when the iPhone died. Ok wherte would I hide something big! Maybe over here? Spotted a cat and stumbled on a brilliant huge container. Not the biggest I found but up there and the presentation is excellent. A fav from me. Now for the challenge of finding my way to Greenwich Point without technology!! TFTC HUNbat. #779

Amazing! Instant FP!!!
After taking slightly the wrong trail back from Cache Me If You Can, I ended up doing a little side trip to The Pearl. Got back on the right path and then discovered one of the best containers I have found. Just while I was taking photos, I got a call to meet up with a fellow cacher, so I hurriedly packed everything away and totally forgot to swap some TBs. Just gives me an excuse to come back.
Thanks for your effort on this one HUNbat. It's surprises such as this that keeps us coming back for more.

Wow, our last in this Sydney trip and truly amazing! Thanks for this fantastic cache.
Oops! Just realised I left a TB when I was here on 17 Jan. Belatedly dropping it now.
Really brilliant! After finding a mystery cache nearby, I was wilting from the heat, and was contemplating retreating to somewhere air-conditioned. However, I decided to stagger on and attempt this one as I had a TB with international aspirations to drop.
I was so glad I did as I think this setup is one of the best of all time.
Thanks HUNbat, this deserves multiple favourite points.

What a wonderful cache! A lot of thought went into this one, I just hope that it does not get burned out.

Well, that was very enjoyable. We learned about the treasure of Captain Dirty Fred and decided to have a go ourselves. Wow, what a find! A pirate adventure in our own backyard. We looked through the loot including the untouchable stuff and decided to make a trade - lest there be a secret curse. A favourite for us for the fabulous, artful construction, the protection of the loot, the marine diorama, the lovely little piece of bush it's in and the well protected location. T the butterfly TB L (appropriately) the gold ingot TB and the Brian TB from Denmark SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

Companions: 2 Geokids
Muggles: None
Weather: Lovely winter's afternoon
Cache condition: Great
After dropping my wife and daughter early at Shore for a dance Eisteddfod I decided it was better to take the 2 boys for a quick walk than have them sit around for an hour. We headed down to the water at Oyster Cove Reserve then walked across to the bush path, enjoying the water views. Once at GZ I immediately spotted the container (hard to miss!), but Geokid7 was too focused on the phone's compass to spot it until I told him to turn back slightly. He'll learn! Anyway, wow that is an impressive container + camo! We decided not to take any TBs so instead just signed the log before replacing everything, then headed back to our car and the Eisteddfod. Thanks for the cache.

I visited this cache again today. I dropped my GPS cover somewhere the other day and was hoping it was near this cache but no luck.
If you've found it please contact me and I'll come and meet you to collect it.
While I was here I dropped off another TB, picked one up and discovered another.
Some of the TBs that were in the cache on Monday, which I discovered, are no longer here in the cache but are still listed in its inventory. Hmmm something's not right.

Well I wasn't expecting that!
After a major caching failure at St Peters this afternoon I was feeling desperate for a cache to keep my streak going. I wasn't looking forward to getting involved in the peak hour debarcle so looked at the geomap in search of something possible. I spotted this cache within walking distance of home that I'd left for a day such as this and forgotten about.
So geodog was leashed up and we set off for a sunset walk. He was very excited once we reached the bush track as there were so many other dog walkers here. I followed a familiar track then branched off away from the other walkers. When we were 11m from GZ I tied up geodog with the instruction to bark a warning when anyone approached. No one came.
I collected a couple of trackables, left a couple in exchange and discovered a few others.

What a treasure chest. Congratulations. This has to be the best we have found. Sounds of muggles but none in sight. Because it is Sunday we could not take the treasure with us! TFTC
What a fantastic geocache. So much effort went into its construction. We love it
Found it! Out of all the caches we have done this is our first large. This is my favourite cache of all time!
