With our trip to Callala almost at an end, there was just the power trail left to do. My main concern was potential ticks as our group had been unlucky and collected a few between us. The boardwalk section was cool and it was interesting to see all the different environments along the journey. All caches were found reasonably straightforwardly (signed as IM ZEBRA) and I enjoyed seeing this part of the local natural environment. Thanks for placing and maintaining mistysoho.
#15217 09:27A long weekend of geocaching away from Sydney. For this long weekend, a group of 8 geocachers descended down upon Callala Beach at Jervis Bay. Each day a different area was selected and all logs were signed with I'M ZEBRA, comprising of the initials of each member of the group. In the faint distance I could hear the sound of coffee beans being grinded.TFTC
After spending the long weekend staying at Callala Beach and caching around the area, we made this trail our last stop before heading home. The penultimate one, before we do the multi. Nearly all numbers were collected by now. TFTC
Nearly at the end of this lovely walk, albeit a bit overgrown in parts. Im pleased we are walking it at this time of the year and in reasonable shoes (even though they are soaked now). Went straight to this one. Thanks mistysoho.
A nice quick find. Definitely enjoying the second half of this track infinitely more. TFTC
The track this side is mich better for us and MrsFish found the cache which I logged. A nice hide but the log was fairly damp.
The cache senses were on point today.Super quick find like all the others today.Don't know what is happening.TFTCironbark.
Found after enlarging our search area, an obvious spot, but not where we had initially started looking. Thanks for the cache mistysoho
Tricky one hint-shoulder height for grass hoppers. We’re looking in the wrong spot the hole time but found it just as we were about to give up.TFTC
Came back for another look knowing it had been replaced l. Glad to finally tick this whole series off.
Leanne made the quick find for this one while I gave myself wet socks stepping through invisible puddles. TFTC
Not so sure it was the best time to head into the swamp and along the trail but it was the only time I had. Although it hadn’t rained much over the last few days, I sense it will be some time before the area is anywhere near dry again. Recent heavy rains had left much of it underwater, and while the elevated walkway was most appreciated at the beginning, the puddles only got worse i.e. deeper and wider the further I went. After a while it didn’t really matter anyway, my shoes weren’t going to get any more soaked or covered in mud.
So along I went, eventually picking up on what to look for. Geotrails helped some of the time, geosense other times as well. In the end it was 12 from 12, with some of the logs a little damp and only the one log too wet to write on. Mosquitos were at a minimum thank god, but I had came prepared just in case.
Finally made it to the final hide where eventually the sneaky cache was found. The muggle cleaning his caravan across the road either didn’t notice or didn’t care what I was doing as I was there for a good 15 minutes and I didn’t notice him even turn his head in my direction. Trudged back around the school to the geomobile and headed back ‘home’ for a well deserved shower. Favourite added for the adventure. TNLNSL TFTF

This one was a bit tricky till we read the hint. Cords were going all over the place. Thank you misty
It was finally a log we could write on
We instantly thought it was hanging

After a visit to the beach everyone else was keen for a snooze - perfect opportunity for some caches and with the sun out a few butterflies. Headed to Callala and had some luck with both. This was my main aim and I managed to find all the caches and the clues but no multi final.
Circled a couple of spots and found the cache - took longer to get the log and bag back in place.

I did well to spot this as the iPhone insisted it was always at least 13m away! The hint had me looking for the right locations and we were soon on our way to the last find on the trail proper.
When it comes to planning a caching day, which includes a day off work I'm generally in the lap of the gods when comes to the weather and today was no except..... Forecast temps of 35deg and high humidity greeted me as I headed south for the day.
This series was one of my targeted locations today. I really enjoyed the walk but with the track overgrown and the temps climbing I was ever watchful slimey critters. It should be noted its not a good idea to this series at high tide unless you're prepared to get wet. Sections of the boardwalk were knee deep under water today.
Thanks to all the CO's for your caches today. I may not have found as many as I wanted due to the heat but I had agreat day scouring the south coast. Thanks.

Looks like this track doesn't get many walkers, as overgrown in places. Still very much worth the effort. Some caches had logs so wet you couldn't sign them, but we did find them all. Struggled to find 2 of the numbers for the multi, so took a guess and failed to find it... TFTC.
Another easy find. Thanks app muck for a fun day out. Will recommend to other geocachers
Met up with Bonfire7 and spent the day smashing out caches in the Callala/Myola area.
Finished the day with 51 Finds & 3 Did Not Finds. A thoroughly enjoyable day, spent in good company. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contributions to the game we play.

Another great day on our one-year tripp around Australia. We love to travel in this country and we love to look for geocaches. This geocache has again shown us a place that we might not have visited without geocache.
Thank you for the geocache !
Greetings from Switzerland.

Log is soaked, managed to sign it anyway. Go to Officeworks and buy some ‘Tradie Paper’ best waterproof paper ever.
On a nice morning walk.
We did all the caches in this series.
Thank you. We enjoyed it.
Greetings from South Africa.

I scouted around a bit before my eye alighted on this one. A good thing for me the camouflage is a tad weathered, that was not what I thought I was looking for.
#4659 16th for today
A last minute trip out to coast with CBRChic. I was sitting at home after breakfast thinking: where would I like to go caching today: answer: the coast. So I called CC to see if she was keen and she was so off we went. Time was very limited so we restricted our searches to just a couple of spots: Nerriga, Tianjara and Calalla Beach area. We aimed to be back in CBR by 7pm, but that was a forlorn hope and it was more like 8pm. Anyway, it was a fine day for caching and we almost completed the "Power to Calalla" trail, which was just lovely. All in all a great day.
Thanks to the COs: mistysoho

Said no to a possible kayaking/geocaching with friends this weekend due to asthma and needing to see how it was affecting me. Steroids were kicking in and beginning to feel good again. At the garden centre with hubby when I get a call from StangeTrousers – “want a quick trip down the coast to get a few caches.? “ A little sea air would be good. “Yes Please.” Warned ST that we would need to take it easy and I would try not to become violent with roide rage on the trip (Joke). Got home in time to put the batteries into the Garmin and be ready for the ST to arrive in the geo mobile and the adventure to begin. We left close to lunch time and the day was sunny with not too much wind – perfect for caching especially after the cold days in the last week.
We picked up a few caches on the way down to the Calalla “Power to Calalla” power trail. Loved the earth cache Tianjara Falls. When we reached Calalla Beach close to 3:00 with a quick grab of a late lunch before hitting the trail. Nothing like hearing the waves at the beach.
Here we go again another discovery and place that caching has led me to. The wetlands and walk are worth a visit. Beautiful butterflies, flowers, a crab and no snake. Time was limited so we only managed mainly those on the trail before it was time to head home. The evening was finished with a meal cooked by my geo hubby for ST and I and the perfect way to finish of a great day.
Thanks mistysoho for giving me a reason to visit this place.

The Jasmine-like smell of something in bloom after on the breeze as we did the final few caches of this trail. Kutgw

My only DNF. Didn't read the hint!! I don't find the Garmin as easy to navigate as the Magellan so trying to find where the hint would be or even recording a find etc is rocket science. Not to worry. Thanks for the series.
On a nice morning walk Clematius and I tried to find all the caches in this series. We made it up to #11 but could not find the # 12 and #13. Anyway, I was a really nice walk. Thanks for hiding to mistysoho.
A morning walk together with ElizaBennet and another found in Australia. Thanks a lot for hiding to mistysoho.
OCW Pel Droed Gwin in Ellie the GeoKombi, we camped for the weekend at Currarong Beach, today we will explore Callala Beach.

Really enjoyed the hole walk through this interesting part of bushland. Glad I was wearing shorts today as long pants would have gotten very wet. The path is already overgrowing quickly, but that makes it more interesting for me. caches were all found rather quick, even when they were a bit mixed here and there.

Our etrex "lost it" here. Maybe it was ready for morning tea. We certainly were. We slowed down and then the etrex "woke up" and took us to a "prominent spot" as described by someone else. Dan placed the etrex on that "spot" and noticed something. Upon lifting the cover, there it was. A new altitude and cache container. TFTC
Had to start to read previous logs to find this one. Lots of scratching been done at this one. TFTC
