Nice to have a bonus for finishing off the series. But we could have found this yesterday when hanging around eating ice cream! That really was a cache right under our noses. Once we found this cache, our group parted ways and headed home. We had an excellent weekend caching around Callala and Jervis Bay.
#15219 09:42A long weekend of geocaching away from Sydney. For this long weekend, a group of 8 geocachers descended down upon Callala Beach at Jervis Bay. Each day a different area was selected and all logs were signed with I'M ZEBRA, comprising of the initials of each member of the group. Someone suggested we should first get the final cache before a cup of coffee. Luckily the cache was quickly found and we wasted no time getting to the bakery. Jumbo sized cappuccino anyone?TFTC
After spending the long weekend staying at Callala Beach and caching around the area, we made this trail our last stop before heading home. After completing the series, we had all the digits to go to GZ. And a familiar location that we had visited only yesterday afternoon, while relaxing after a huge day caching. Now it was time to go back to the cars, and relax with a cuppa and croissant from the local bakery. TFTC
Completed the series, unfortunately the famous Callala gelato joint hasnt opened as yet, thus its the bakery cafe coffee
Have collected the information for this cache over a bit of time in previous visits down here and while there were two on the Power Trail that we werent able to find yet, we had enough of the numbers to calculate the very likely GZ. While waiting for our dinner to be ready tonight, we made the decision to take a quick trip to GZ and with a bit of trial and error soon had this nicely sneaky cache in hand. We have a similar hide ourselves up in Sydney but without that this mightve taken us quite a bit longer! Thanks for this wonderful series.
We could not find all the caches along the power trail, parts just too overgrown or flooded for us older cachers. However i had some of the numbers and with a lot of trial and error had some good looking coordinates (had to ignore several in peoples backyards!). I drove there late tonight for the find in a very quiet and private place. Thanks for a great power trail and excellent multi final.
Found with The Matetrix, MilesMorales2 and Czechboy14. Favourite added for the series More to come
A quick find today, and the end to a pleasant series! Thanks for the cache mistysoho
Great series and great walk, thanks!
Could not get the log out the last cache, did not have tweezers handy

Woo hoo!
Despite 2 missing caches on the trail, I managed to get numbers needed for this.
I had started the trail last July with the geo child but had to give up, little legs got tired. Finally made finishing it a priority l. Lots of containers are waterlogged, but it's still a great walk. Thanks for bringing me here.
Now time for a ??

Great cache and track had to guess a number as ones missing on the trail? Thanks for your efforts
Tftc , one of the numbers were missing so had to do a guessing game for the last number , good little hide
After a beautiful Sunday morning walk, it was great to have this multi easily solved and found in a familiar Misty hide. Thanks again Misty!
Oh my gosh! We did it! Our first trail!!! Thankyou so much for the fun! Miss 6 & 9 looooved it
Back again and diverted the family via bakery for treats and to avenge this cache not retrieved yesterday. Adjoining np business was closed (much to kids disappointment) and I spotted the cache as I exited the car (I have a few similar at home). Log signed and on our way. A FP for the series.

How annoying - unlike others I had all the numbers and GZ was beckoning. On my all past there was a car right at GZ, grabbed the car and there were two. They then visited the nearby business and there was no way I could sneak in.
Hopefully I can get back one day.

After getting all the numbers yesterday I quickly assembled the coordinates for this cache over breakfast. The satellite view and previous logs combined to make me confident I hadn't somehow messed up so we parked nearby and a very thorough search of a wide area ensued. I turned up something that could be part of the cache but there was no logsheet and no difficulty extracting it. A quick message to the CO confirmed that I'd found the right thing and came with a very kind promise to add my name to the new logsheet. A pretty good way to end our Callala caching trip!
Looks like this track doesn't get many walkers, as overgrown in places. Still very much worth the effort. Some caches had logs so wet you couldn't sign them, but we did find them all. Struggled to find 2 of the numbers for the multi, so took a guess and failed to find it... TFTC.
Sadly it was a dnf for us. We had the cords and thought we had found it but the hole was empty so mustn’t have been the right one.
Met up with Bonfire7 and spent the day smashing out caches in the Callala/Myola area.
Finished the day with 51 Finds & 3 Did Not Finds. A thoroughly enjoyable day, spent in good company. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contributions to the game we play.
Thanks for the 'POWER TO CALLALA' series, Mistysoho!

Found the other 12 in this series today and got the coordinates for this, spent a good time searching, with no luck
A last minute trip out to coast with CBRChic. I was sitting at home after breakfast thinking: where would I like to go caching today: answer: the coast. So I called CC to see if she was keen and she was so off we went. Time was very limited so we restricted our searches to just a couple of spots: Nerriga, Tianjara and Calalla Beach area. We aimed to be back in CBR by 7pm, but that was a forlorn hope and it was more like 8pm. Anyway, it was a fine day for caching and we almost completed the "Power to Calalla" trail, which was just lovely. All in all a great day.
Some how we missed the F value, but we tried the general gz area without success. In the end we just ran out of time.
Didn't find this one.
Thanks anyway mistysoho

We seem to have left the mozzies behind thank goodness. Having finished the trail and missing one of the numbers for this GZ we decided to head over to the shops for some bacon, eggs and coffee. I put in what numbers we had found and made an educated guess. After breakfast we took a short walk and found our guess was spot on. We want to give a Favourite for the series so are placing it here. Thanks mystysoho. Nice quick find. Kutgw

After collecting (most of) the numbers along the track, I settled in to the cafe for coffee while I loaded the new co-ords. But d'oh, I'd missed the one in 12! Luckily Tuena was following me along the track, so with a combined effort we finalised the co-ords, enjoyed lunch, then went on the extract (with difficulty!) No.13!
I only recorded two numbers but they were crucial. After lunch with Rock Hopper we headed off & after using various wooden tools prized the container loose & found the last one. A most rewarding 2 hours. Thanks for the series.
OCW Pel Droed Gwin in Ellie the GeoKombi, we camped for the weekend at Currarong Beach, today we will explore Callala Beach.
Took an unusual route to GZ that involved but made a quick find once we got here.
An enjoyable walk

Really enjoyed the hole walk through this interesting part of bushland. Glad I was wearing shorts today as long pants would have gotten very wet. The path is already overgrowing quickly, but that makes it more interesting for me. caches were all found rather quick, even when they were a bit mixed here and there.

We did the whole power loop - found ABCDEF, but not the final cache There is a lot of rubbish including poo and used condoms... gave up after 15min of searching
Stopped by today to find this final cache in this fun series.
Took some searching but came up with the goods.
I had troubles here and couldnt get the cache container out,but still managed to get the log to sign.
Thanks for the power series and showing me a great new trail.

We attempted this cache after failing to obtain the final hint from #12. As it was the last digit, we simply used an average value. We walked up to this location, expecting to search an area of plus/minus 15m. (Which is about as accurate as our etrex is, at times.) We found this cache at the first spot we looked! How lucky were we. We were having a great day. This has been a great power trail. Some quick finds, some lengthy searches, nice scenery, some wildlife, a variety of cache hides. Fantastic. TFTC and the whole trail and the pleasant exercise for us seniors.
P.S. We did return to #12 and found it.

Once at GZ we did a scan of the outer premieres and spotter a sneaky hide. Extraction took a while but got there. Poor Honey dogs ready to go home, Billiy still is full of beans. TFTC and the series
After finding the last in this great series we calculated the final GZ and made our way there on our push bikes. While the iPad was pointed 23 mtrs away we managed to spot this sneaky hide. It did take a while to extract. FTF # 20 for us. Fav Point. SL TFTC Misty
