Tenth stop on a little Bathurst to Orange and return caching trip. Nice quick find at GZ. TFTC
#11421 16:20
The second day of geocaching in the wider area of Bathurst with Team Canary, Brewmaker, Noodles21, ziggiau and Rainbow Spirit.
From our base in Bathurst, we spend the second day driving through the wider area to pick up many of the solved puzzle caches, with a few other caches types in between.
Lots of animals were spotted: roos, blue tongue lizards, shingleback lizards, galahs, lots of sheep and turtles.
Logs were signed with the team name BRINTZ.

Tricky hide this one. Found with our Geocaching Adventurer Group Of Six during our stay in Bathurst. Signed as BRINTZ. TFTC
Second day on a caching holiday along with Brewmaker, Rainbow Spirit, Its Dozzie, Team Canary and Ziggiau. We had planned to start early from Bathurst and make our way to Peel, but instead on focussing on the cache cluster there were became distraced and continued to make our way further north before making a circuit back to home base. On the trip we enountered many animals in our path, Blue toungue lizards, shingleback lizards, roos, bunnies and a lot of sheep!
We finished the loop in time for lunch. afterwards most of us went back out to do another round before heading back to town for a CCE event.
Signed group as BRINTZ
Thanks for the cache.

After finishing work today, I headed out for a drive along some of the back roads I hadn’t yet explored. I grabbed the kids and enjoyed the nice drive to GZ where I took a few moments to spot the cache as we spent most of the time looking elsewhere. Nicely done.

Another find on the back rod to Bathurst. I felt quite alone out here in the morning hours. TFTC
About ready to give up, had another think about where it could be and spotted it. TFTC Code1
Orange 2020 Day 1. I headed out for a long weekend away with Fitzy1965 & MinnieK to cache between Orange and Dubbo. We explored forests and towns and camped at Macquarie Wood. The weather was great and we managed to visit many more caches than I ever expected. Today we headed off from Canberra and went via Cowra to Orange.
Thanks.

fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out for a long weekend away. Basing ourselves at Macquarie Woods, we ended up visiting Orange, Parkes, Dubbo and lots of towns inbetween.
This one could have taken longer.....but coming late to the party, I spotted the hide almost immediately. Cool camo.

20,237. Found with minniek and albida33 during a Canberra Day Long Weekend caching meander around the Orange/Parkes/Dubbo regions.
A plan was hatched for the three of us to head up this way for some quality caching over the 3 days. This was the next stop as we ventured into the forest. We soon spotted this one. Now for a U-Turn for some more caches.
Thanks Code1 !!

Took us s little longer than it should have. When you find it, it stands out a mile! Thanks Code 1 . A fav from me.
Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching.
Today we journey out along Freemantle Road then across the river and back to town.
Nice cache. The sun is warming us up now. Enjoying this road and the scenes it is taking us through.

Out with RoddyC while in Bathurst house sitting.
Caching to day in the area.
Our search led us to something that was a little out of place then it was a Quick easy find.

Nicely hidden cache. Signed and replaced. Will be good when Gowan Road is completely sealed, as an alternative route between Bathurst and Orange. Tftc
Saw these pop up and started the drive out as soon as I could. Always hopeful for a FTF but sometimes in this town you are just not quick enough.
Arrived at GZ and my hopes were increased as I was the only wheel tracks in the dust. Started the search and honestly was getting no where. Went back to the car to check my phone and that's when I had a light bulb moment. A quick search ensued and suddenly I had a very cool cache in hand. Back to the car and was awarded with the blank log and the FTF.
Made my day. A cool drive, a cool quiet location, a cool cache and first to get there. Doesn't get much better. Favorite point from me.
