TFTC. We were in desperate need of a cache today to keep a steak going. We are visiting our daughter in Wheelers Hill. We have previously house sat here so unfound trads are few and far between. We saw this on Cachly so on Saturday late afternoon we made the find. Did have to outwait a muggle walking around near GZ. Apart from a lid missing the cache is on good shape.

Today we found s h a p e O f w a t e r on our travels. We realised this one was disabled but seeing we were in the vicinity we thought we’d have a look anyway. We found the cache tucked away and although the container is lidless there is a log in place and where it is tucked the log was dry even though it had just been pouring down.

Thanks b l u e s t o n e s for being part of our geocaching fun.

Suscoe was up in the area today enjoying a day out caching while the Grand Final was on.
Fairly quiet streets greeted us today which was appreciated.
A cloudy day out this way but there was no rain or drizzle at all.
We enjoyed wandering the streets of this part of Melbourne.
Thanks to bluestones for this hide, a great water sculpture and a very quiet area today.

*24 Aug 2019, Found @ 3:56 pm, Find # 9671.*

While on my way home from a day in the hills, I decided to have a look at this one.
Not realising this one was disabled, I made my way to GZ, with the help of the hint, I started looking around and found this tiny container without a lid but it did contain a log sheet which was signed, I also found a magnet which was separate but maybe they should be one.
I placed the magnet inside and used it to attach the cache to the obvious.

**Thanks to b l u e s t o n e s for placing this cache.**

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###

----------

Even though this cache can still be found, based on the logs, it would appear to be in need of owner intervention. Therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility and includes regular visits to the cache to ensure it is in proper working order, especially when a seeker reports a problem with the cache. I cannot see any recent logs that indicate this has happened.

Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, have a read here: [**Cache Maintenance Guidelines.**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) The guidelines advise; **if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can.** This Help Centre article tells you how it can be done; [**Temporarily Disable and Enable.**]( http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235)

**Please respond to this situation within 28 days - so as to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.** Sad

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating a date when you believe the situation will be resolved. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned and archived without further notice.

**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post an [**Enable Listing**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) log to get your cache up and running again. If your cache is also carrying a Needs Maintenance attribute, you will need to log an [**Owner Maintenance**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) log to remove the attribute.

On the way home from lunch with the in-law and the little geokid insisted on geocaching. Typical Melbourne weather at this time of year, cold and wet so I parked as close as possible to the cache. But after a bit of search we still managed to get a soaked. It was just luck we spotted the cache and soon realised it lost its placement. Anyways, took the cache undercover to signed the log. Cached replace in the sensible spot.

We spent a very long time here and nearly gave up.
It was only in a desperate last act, that a bit of excavation uncovered it.
The cache is in pretty bad shape with no lid. We added some paper for future loggers.
Hopefully it will be a little easier to discover for the next finder.
We haven't seen one this small before.
Thanks b l u e s t o n e s for bringing us to this interesting little place.

Not that far from a cache G' of GJMMelb, lochb and I found a year or three ago it seemed, this one was almost a needle in a haystack of possible hides except that in the end it was found in probably the most likely spot - it just took a bit more work to uncover than expected/we'd've liked (it's a spot popular with those of a certain habit...) A stormy late Sunday afternoon/early evening was probably about the best time to tackle this one though, not a muggle in sight (but not to say the muggles weren't monitoring our every move?.........) This was a much smaller cache than I was expecting. Quiet1_au and I looked around and had to recheck places that we had already looked. Eventually I found the cache in an obvious place but very well hidden. Cache does need attention. Thanks bluestones

This cache has been temporarily hidden and CO informed due to damaged container.

Found the remains of the magnet used to secure the container and then the container lying on the ground.

Luckily the log was still inside and I was able to sign.

I have messaged CO and temporarily hidden cache in different location until they can repair and rehide. Thanks for bringing me here.

Find #10004

After parkrun this morning, I decided I should pickup a cache today on this, the 9th anniversary of my first cache find. Wow, what a great spot. Its when CO's bring me to locations like this that I don't even know exist that keeps me playing this great game. Really loved the water feature.

Happy Australia Day Big Grin

Many thanks to b l u e s t o n e s for the cache. TNLN.

Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2019?*

Ahhh, the second of our win-win LDCs (Learner Driver Caches) and what a pleasant spot after 50 minutes of laps, parking and reversing.

So relaxing here, flowing water, flowers, cushions, soft music...

I could see the inspiration for n0w0rries’ poetical side, and also saw that the cafe does receptions and events. Maybe that’s the next step for all the learner drivers...

TFTC Bluestones - would love it if you placed a few more caches in this estate Smile

Kato Potato and I were on our way home from the Parkville MEGA and happened to need petrol conveniently near two more caches! We parked in the deserted childcare centre, glad it was a weekend, and Kato made a quick find. TFTC b l u e s t o n e s

Caching our way home from the Mega event and Mummy Short Legs and I decided this little pocket of caches was a good spot to stop and stretch the legs. A final fuel stop before hitting the freeway to Gippsland in earnest and we couldn't help but clear the area of the few available caches. Loved this spot on a quiet Sunday arvo, the sounds of water as mesmorising as the shape of it. Fav for me for the location. Thanks for the cache bluestones

All quiet on a Sunday morning and we were impressed with the location - greenery and water and even the sounds of music. A nice relaxing area. The GPS devices were a little unstable however we soon found the container. Signed log and replaced. The container seemed a little second hand - the lid had been replaced with tape and the fixing was a little loose. However, replaced as found. TFTC

Heading out for the day with Happy pants, while dropping my son's car off to him, as he turns 18 this week. It is a bitterly cold, winters’ day with heavy showers of rain falling intermittently during the day which forced us to take breaks while making a few finds for the day. No DNF's and not so many muggles about in the cold today, allowed for some easier searching opportunities. We discovered a few great and clever hides. A very successful day, as we got a number of caches, and great to catch up with my family and son.

It was drizzling rain but thankfully didn't take long to make the find. Loved the garden design.

I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems a long way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 50 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

Thanks b l u e s t o n e s for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Wow what a great location. Found the cache quite quickly, then spent ages just sitting watching the water. Overnight rain left the ground covered in a film of water as well. Quite spectacular on this International Geocaching Day. Thanks for bringing us to the area.

Found today at 11:55am. Pouring rain just stopped as we arrived at GZ. Dark clouds bearing down on us meant that we only had about 3 minutes of search time before another downpour. Thankfully, that was all we needed. Could have done it in less if we had thought about the title more. Once again, our closest cache to home is off the list. Thanks from D& HA B-A

Found on 18 Jun 2018 at 2:08 pm.
After a nice ride around Lysterfield and Churchill park I headed back home past this one. Glad I had the bike so I could park at GZ and make it look like I was checking the bike and having a drink.
Moments later I found the cute little cache, signed the log and headed on my way.
Thanks b l u e s t o n e s for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I decided to take a detour here on the way home from work. Thinking this would be easy I searched in the obvious of places with the hint in mind. I was about to give up and after walking back down the steps, I turned around and there it was. Definitely don’t need to overthink this one which is what I did.

Out and about tonight, grabbing some caches in the cool night air! This is an incredible location, who knew this existed in this area? There was a big function party thing going on here tonight and I was happily searching a small distance away from the frivolity, but after a little while a friendly security guard came and moved me on. Will try again soon....

Catching up on a few forgotten logs and this one was found today with omegaman1971 while out grabbing a few caches in the area. We managed a park not too far from the GZ and we dashed across the road and had a quick search, the cache was actually spotted as we closed in and we considered ourselves lucky as there as plenty of sneaky hiding spots here. The area was quiet of muggles this morning so we went for a wander around the gardens and water ways, very nice indeed. Not your typical office building courtyard! Thanks b l u e s t o n e s for the sneaky hide and for highlighting the cool area.

Yay, a new b l u e s t o n e s cache! I was going to be in the area today anyway so I made the short detour here. Luckily it was a Sunday morning so I had the place to myself. As I got to GZ and surveyed the area, I braced myself for a very tricky and clever hide. I couldn't find anything at first and tried to think outside the box, when I stumbled on it - not as hard as I thought!

Sadly a DNF. Geokid#3 had a friend over for a play but they were getting restless after being in doors all day. So an outdoor adventure was needed.
A nearby cache that was recently published was our target as the CO is well know for well constructed hides. We arrived at GZ, and given it was a Saturday, the place was pretty much ours. My GPS jumped around as is tried to narrow down the location and after reading the cache page I thought I knew what we were looking for. But after a good search the girls became board so they decided to see if they could jump over the water........I was just waiting for one of them to fall in! After a 20 mins search we decided to call it for today. We will be back. Thanks for the challange b l u e s t o n e s!
