###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Investigate the situation and either restore the cache, or address any other issues, such as correcting the D/T rating if necessary.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done, and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary, or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this, that is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Zane and Bianca and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is there, and in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

No joy here had a good search. Started our 2nd tour of WA now checking out Kalgoolie and surrounds. 29 November 2021 11:35 am Tyfc Zane and Bianca total caches now 3257
Unfortunately we look every way over the structure and in various other things and couldn't find it.
We found something to climb on & looked all over this structure but could not locate the nano. Our only DNF for the trip so far.
Chickenhawk07 and I decided to head out for a few days and whilst it wasn’t a caching trip, we grabbed a few on the way. This was one.
Used an accessory to spy this one before grabbing. Mindful of where I was putting my hands.
Many thanks to Zane and Bianca for placing and maintaining Tom Starcevich VC. I was here at 1:03 pm on Friday and this is my find 8999.

Awesome thanks. All safe and sound and watching the world go passed. Thanks for your hospitality. Will catch you next time round and poss a few more caches. If not Peak Charles it will be
After living down the road for 7 months we can finally mark this one as found. TFTC.
pug002 found it on our trip to Esperance, got an early 6am start from Esperance apart from the flies it was pleasant. TFTC Zane and Bianca Great memorial
Fantastic roadside rest stop, we enjoyed wandering around reading the information. You had us going around in circles for a while before we made the find. Lucky for us, maintenance came just in time. Thanks Zane and Bianca.
###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
The cache will be disabled and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either
- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated in a Note log here, when action will be taken
**If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then we can only assume that the cache has been abandoned and, regrettably, it will be archived.**
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

Could not find this one, lifted the kid up to look high but still couldn’t locate unfortunately.
Today we travelled from Esperance to Kalgoorlie; here we mad our frist stop for a short rest and to look at the memorial. After a little search we were able to locate and grab the cache.
Being vertically challenged I had great difficulty finding this cache. Had to look from numerous different angles and then employ a rake lying on the ground nearby. TFTC
After rolling out the swag last night in the rain at Thomas River in the Cape Arid NP, I headed on to Esperance quite early, hoping to get up to Norseman and on the Hyden Road by tonight. But as is so often the case, with me at least, I got sidetracked and didnt even make it as far as Norseman! No surprise really, given that I wasn’t even planning to come down this way on this trip.
The weather has been woeful for the last day or so. It bucketed down last night and has rained on and off for most of the day. Great for the farmers, but not quite so great when you are camping. Looks like more rain as I set up camp tonight.
This cache was a quick drive-by.
Thanks Zane and Bianca for the cache.

Maintenance check, cache repaired due to damage and replaced back in original location, apologies to those who found it harder to retrieve than it should have been.
As our journey through South Australia and back in to Western Australia continues, towards home.
An amazing amount of history out here in the Wheat Belt.
We had found your cache tucked away nicely in a neat little spot and with signing duties done on this cache on our way over East in March, but forgot to log it.
Putting a smiley here now as we are heading back to the West Coast, catching up on logs.
Thanks for sharing this spot to stop and stretch the legs, southward bound now to continue our journey.

Geowife was enlisted to find this one after five minutes of fruitless searching.
Had a trip out to The historic ghost town of Gwalia planned for some time now and with the wife keen to check out some of the ghost towns and various ruins throughout the goldfields it was sure to be a great trip.
We travelled to Kalgoorlie and then upto Gwalia where we stayed at Hoover House, which is the old mine managers house for the sons of gwalia mine and offered great views of the pit.
We took a day trip out to Laverton and Leinster with a small detour to grab a few caches along the great central road. After our detours from Leonora we dropped back into Kal and down to Esperance for the last night of our trip.
A great trip away and thanks for all the caches along the journey. Thank you to the COs for their caches.

After recording a dnf on this cache last September, we returned today while on the road to South Australia. Spotted it quickly today but think the terrain should perhaps be a 2 as I certainly couldn't reach it unaided. Thanks Zane and Bianca
Travelling from Esperance to Kalgoorlie and towards real summer at the same time . Temperatures were rising constantly and reaching 39°C when arriving at my destination ! Definitely not that chilly as it has been down at the coast.... There have been lots of chances along my way to stretch my legs and find a box en passant [:o)]. This was one of them...... Here you don't have to stretch just your legs, you'll succeed mainly in stretching your arms .

Finally retrieved the mint - should be 2 terrain instead of 1.5. I am not 6 ft - i am only 5.1 ft short... anyway signed the log and thanks for hide the cache and hunt.

On the way back from Esperance and just checking caches on the way. All is well with them. Happy caching.
Travelling around and doing some caching with goingplaces2, brought us to this area as we headed towards Esperance. Found after a while. TFTC.
We were on our way today on a southward route towards Esperance, with ilook4geo. Stopped here to look for this cache and eventually found it. It would have been much easier to locate if we were about 7' tall. Terrain rating should be 2. All was in good nick and we added both names to the log sheet before we moved on again. Thank you, Zane and Bianca, for adding so many caches to the game.
8035. Locaed by baby &Mrs gopher at 13.55. Nice camo. SL. Tnx Zane and Bianca.
Found by Mary & David at 1010. Not where we expected. A great display to honour a true hero. M was delighted to notice an Alfred (Hospital) badge worn by the charge nurse. A wonderful tribute. The terrain rating could be a little higher. Our thanks to Zane and Bianca.
We have been travelling since January when we left Geelong and travelled up the centre and up to Darwin
We crossed the border into WA in May and we completed the gibb river road and cape leveque
Since Broome we have zig zagged from coast to inland and have seen and done some amazing things
We are now camped in the area and we will cache and see the sights

First time find for Mrs Pally! A great hide. TFTF! Did not have a pencil so couldn’t record.
Found on day 8 of our WA Adventure. After a very relaxing few days in Norseman this was a quick find on our way out to Esperance today. TFTC
Great hide was a good quick stop just what we needed better than just pulling up anywhere thank you for this cache.
Travelling Australia since March 2014 now we are making our way west for a visit with family.
Today we moved from near Salmon Gums to Esperance only stopping to pick up 2 caches.
This was a very good spot for a cache. Like historical caches.

My second day in Esperance and decided to head out of town for some history caches . TFTC and all the COs for placing them .....
Third day of our 'loop' trip following the wildflowers and grabbing some caches along the way.
Had intended to stay in Esperance a few days but the weather was foul and hail forecast and much the same for the next few days so decided to head for Kalgoorlie. The wind was freezing when we arrived. Thought we had a good look but couldn't spot the hide. Either gone or we have cache blindness! Thanks Zane and Bianca

The weather today is just about as miserable as we are. Today marks the end of the Western Australian part of this years journey exploring this great land of ours. We have set of for South Australia and the final chapter of our trip before finally landing back home in Victoria. We have loved everything we have seen and done here in WA, and even though it’s our third trip of over 4 months here, we still saw and visited places we had never been to before. There’s so much to see and do, and so many great experiences we will certainly be back.
We love the fact that we have been able to geocache as we go. It certainly helps break up the drive, especially when that drive covers many, many kilometres. You never get bored when there is the next cache to look forward to!
Lovely memorial to hero, and a good little picnic spot. Luckily as Victorians we are used to the cold and rain so didn’t bother to wait for it to clear before grabbing this one!

Mr Beetle found this one in an obvious spot while I was still trying to get some workable coordinates.
Tried to read a bit of information about this soldier but it was too cold and wet to stay here for as long as we would have liked.
Still a nice, well presented area and a fitting memorial to an Australian hero.
Thanks.

We have been here before when we found a chance here years ago here we are again but a new cache. As we travel throughout on Way to a Surprise party TFTC
Found as we travel towards Norseman and a return across the Nullabor. A perfect spot for a cache. Would have driven on by if not for the cache. Thanks for making us stop.
Interesting things to check out here

On our way home from Esperance, a quick find with geowife and dog! A high five for us for this sneaky magnetic hide!
