Find number 13926 at 12:17:59PM on Monday the 16 September 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Today we went for a drive in the country, and of course, some geocaching. We travelled over to Nannup from Cowaramup via Mowen Road and returned via Alexandra Bridge (our lunch stop)and Margarets River.Great views on a beautiful day, quick find **Thanks for placing this cache orrsom**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
first time geocaching, was going to give up because it was raining then we found it!! lots of fun!!
Think it's been taken. Nice view!Looked at everything metal. No joy this time. Onto the next
felt we knew what we were looking for, scratched and poked for a while no luck today
Last found in 27/8/23 but visited again 15/1/24 and didnt find at all, looked around for a bit, might have been taken?
Haven't been geocaching for such a long time. Was visiting the tank because it was recommended. Thought it might be a good location for one, looked up the site and was right.
Awesome lookout and awesome cows, TFTC and bring us to these places we wouldn't have known about otherwise
With Mr dimor on days off I thought a caching road trip was needed if I want 100 finds this month, of course course I do. So after a few caches around Nannup it was time to head to Bridgetown and some more caches along the way.
What a great location this cache is at. Mr dimor made the find while I was admiring the view.

I found this on the ground. Put it to the closest thing my GPS was pointing to. TFTC
Typical, came the wrong way to find a gate...mind you, the 370m walk was worth it, even if there wasn't a cache here. Tftc.
Staying in Busselton for a couple of days took a day trip to Nannup to do lab adventure and to look at this quaint little town. I found this cache in good order and loved the location thanks
Came up here with the muggles in my family after a visit in Nannup. I got the credit for finding a great view and I got an easy smiley!
After 20 minutes of searching we finally found it when we were just about to give up! TFTC!
I wonder if it is because new construction has taken place. Has it been lost?
Rain held off so we could enjoy the view. The MTB track being built here looks way more like a black grading than blue. Scary. TFTC.
My first find in the Shire of Nannup. Quite a trek up here it is on foot, and the views are worth it. TFTC
What a view.
Last one for the afternoon. Was quite warm and not too many places it could be so made for a fast find.
Brought the inlaws (blokes only) back to share a beer the next afternoon and for two of them to check out the downhill track I had spoken about when I found the cache.
Thanks for the cache orrsom.
Cheers

This was the final cache we looked for on our visit to Nannup. We’d seen signs to the lookout on the way out here for the first to find and the new cache, and so put it out of our mind. Now it was the primary target.
The drive up was pleasant. There were several cars up here, but they were working a little farther away and out of sight.
The cache was found quickly.
Then I stayed for a while to take in the peaceful ambience of the environment, and take lots of photos.
Now the bakery is calling, we are off.

What an amazing view here!!
I was a bit nervous going up the hill to get here, my poor little Mazda was struggling a little bit but we made it and it was so worth it! A few people on bikes trying out the tracks here today too which looked very scary
Thanks for bringing us here TFTC

Staying the week at Maranup Ford near Greenbushes and decided to take a run out to Nannup for a look around. Luckily the missus let me have a go at a smiley or two here and there.
Great views from up here, cache was found without problems.
orrsom I found your cache at 12:21pm, this was the 1st of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 7233. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Found today - TFTC. Lots of butterflies around and a great spot we wouldn’t have found without Geocaching
Got the better of us today checked all the possible locations based on the hint but didn’t come up with the find. Beautiful view regardless and enjoyed the swarms of butterflies
Slightly hampered by long staying muggles, had no luck finding it, even with nano cache experience. Will try again another time.
Found it. TFTC orrsom. This took far too long because I was distracted by the view. What a great place just to veg out. Thanks for bringing me up here.
We took the long way from Perth to Albany via Bunbury, Greenbushes, Bridgetown, Manjimup, Nannup, Windy Harbour, Peaceful Bay, Walpole and Denmark.
Took in a variety of locations and found some neat caches. A great, albeit long day with some massive distances covered.
Thanks to the local COs for their hides.

We set off from Perth heading to Albany today in the early hours of the morning. We traversed a fair chunk of the southwest and made it with a bag full of geocache finds.
Thanks orrsom for placing this geocache adding to the days journey and entertainment.
Now to enjoy WAGB21 in Albany TFTH

Our third DNF . First time wasn’t here. Second time was a look but one with muggles about. Today was a solid look but still no cache was found. Did a PAF later in the day and were doing the right thing so it may be gone again.
What great places geocaching takes us. We would never have come up here otherwise and it was great to see the view and the artwork on the tank. [^]
Cache was quickly found right where I thought it would be.
Thanks for the cache orrsom and for bringing me here.

We’ve always loved this lookout, don’t know why we didn’t check for a cache earlier! Tftc!
Like many others we searched the host a few times before we spotted this sneaky cache. We narrowed down GZ with hints from previous logs before finally making the find. Beautiful view! TFTC orrsom
Checked on this cache today and it's definitely still there. Last person said it needs maintenance so I checked it and it's good. Should have checked the profile of the person saying it needs maintenance as been a cacher for 1 day and has 0 fines. Happy caching
Didn’t trust google maps to send us there in the car as the terrain looked a bit sketchy. So we decided to walk up the super steep incline...oh boy! Only to find cars parked at the top! Oops..ah well we’ve had a good workout earning this one TFTC
Thank you ️ This was our first micro cache so it was very exciting. We were blessed with an extraordinary sunset under some formidable storm clouds. What a view from up there!
