Visiting the Adelaide region for a week from Port Macquarie. Today was yet another very long day. We headed south towards Victor Harbor, over to Cape Jervis, and then back up the coast, plenty of caches were found, and tons of adventure lab questions answered. We had an especially fun and very productive day and were left feeling very tired but satisfied by the end.Nice quick stop and find, visited just before sunset. Thanks for the cache
We are on a caravanning trip around Australia seeing the sights and finding a few caches. We walked along from the campground to get this one. I was looking for something slightly different but founded in the end. Needs a nano lid. Thanks for the cache
TFTC so much fun! We drove down to Marino and spent quite a while trying to find it, and then finally saw it. Amazing cache so cool!
Today out and about on 110 of 122 days to get my daily cacher Ruby Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!The cache is in good condition and the log book has very little space left Thanks for the cache.TFTC
Great hide!! Unfortunately no log present and i dont have any spares.I took a photo and sent to the CO as proof of the find.TFTC!
I took the wrong approach to start, but didnt investigate for long in that area as it didnt feel right for me. Eventually I found my way to the correct area and spent a significant amount of time searching. I was muffled out so returned to my car to read the logs and manufacture a temporary log sheet. When the coast was clear I returned for more of the same. This time I made the find - exactly what I suspected for this area. I have made a temporary log sheet, but the lid of the cache is missing & I dont have any spares with me. Log signed as M989. TFTC!
Requires a new log & lid. Have placed a temporary, but it wont last long without a lid.
We found the very clever Nano, in a beautiful spot. We however couldnt sign the log as it was missing. We also dont have what was needed to replace it.
Quick search and I found something that didnt look right. Log signed and onto the next one.TFTC
TFTC! 27 February 2024 8:26:02pm 7412 thanks to SunsetDuo for the cache! Off to the Great Leap year Mega in Adelaide. A stop off along the way! Really nice at sunset and after a hot day great for a dipping the feet and legs in the water. Really great cache!
Found with woolwood9 while on holiday.Soon had the container spotted.SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for the reason to visit this spot!
Wow there were so many options. But found it after a little bit of searching. Interesting spot. Beautiful coastal walk
Found, TFTC, no logbook, photo to prove. This was definitely a challenge and a great hide!
Fantastic sneaky one!!
Loved this hide. Well deserving of a fave point. Found with LittleLeah79.
No logbook inside but have photo of cache for proof if required. My spare logbooks are too big!!

Found this one while out and about on a walk with the family, awesome little hide, knew what we were looking for but still took us a little while to spot it, eventually found it, signed our name on the tiny log, rolled back up and placed it in the lid. Spent more time rolling up the tiny log than it took to find. The trick is, to roll it into the lid.
Log does need a replacement though as there is no room left. TFTC!

Ah! Clever clever! I audibly gasped when I found it as I wasn’t really expecting that to be the spot!
It’s a good thing my geodog and I approached coming from the beach or else I’m not sure I would have figured out where to look! TFTC! ️

Tough one here.
Asked previous finder, but had already left before I got response.
Will be back.

Found with Bektheraccoon for the Signal's Labrynth souvenirs. Very nice spot, thanks for bringing us here.
The sun was almost gone by the time we were hunting for this cache, which really didn't work in our favour. After a bit of hunting jambochicken managed to put her hands on it. TFTC
Not where we thought it was but eventually discovered this well disguised one!! Thank you
Great little find here. Was quick enough once I confirmed I was looking in the right spot. TFTC and have a favourite point for a creative hide
Didn’t take me too long to find this one thank goodness! Not too many muggles around, they were all fishing already! TFTC!
I got down here early this morning with my paddleboard and fishing rod in the hopes of catching squid. Lots of kayakers and boaters were out trying for the same thing, but I only saw a couple of squid being caught! Defeated, I decided to see if my geocaching luck would be any better and it was! A favourite point from me, TFTC!
Christmas and New Year holiday. Today I and J plus the little one visited Marino and O'Sullivan Beach. We tried two caches, and found both.
This was the first find for today. We planned to try this cache due to high favourite points.
We parked in the carpark, and walked to GZ. Found nothing. Then read the previous log, and realised I searched the wrong area. In the right place, I quickly found the cache.
Smart cache! No wonder so many favourite points.
Signed the log sheet, while no one else was around. Placed it back.
Thanks for the cache, SunsetDuo.

Thanks for arranging and hiding. We needed a PAF our coords had us about 8m out so we were looking in all the wrong places. Good to be having a look around the area. Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird. Deserves a fav
Excellent hide. I must admit this took us a while and were looking in all the wrong places. Can’t believe we didn’t notice it in the first minute. A fav point from me. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz & Bruce. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC SunsetDuo

Out caching with muggle mum to teach her how to cache! This was her first one and she was nearly the first to find. TFTC and for bringing us here on a beautiful spring weekend
Well that was sneaky. We thought we knew where it was, but had to backtrack and recheck several times. It then jumped out at us! Thanks for a fun find.
A pleasant afternoon out for coffee. Oh happens to be 2 geos nearby - even better. Tftc
Found while touring through the southern suburbs. Nice hide that really tested the powers of observation. Thanks for the cache SunsetDuo!
Now staying in Brighton for a few days this morning Mr Felix headed out on his bike to tackle a few caches south of here, once he returned we grabbed lunch and 'the list' and off we set for a full days urban caching. (oh the fear)

4 Nov 2018 was the last time i DNF'd this one and when i last looked for it too, if you don't count today before going for the cache [GC8P3M3] to the north a bit.
On my way back i saw a Starfish, Rat and a Snake on the beach doing the Earthcache below. I joined them and we all solved / worked it out
Then we walked up to this one which to them i said was doing my Blue-Birdy-Brain in ha ha. It was a group assault and the previously found cache was located Phew! I love meeting fellow Cachers just at the right time [^]
The log was missing from the cache so it was replaced and i SL at 12:35 on Wed 2 Sept 2020.
Finally! This one is now a Smiley {with help of course} [^]

It was time for Wednesday Wandering for three geo animals.
The Rat and Adder met up with the Starfish.
We met up with a Blue wren on the nearby beach.
The Blue Wren and the Rat wanted to find this one.
We searched here and there, then the cache was found.
Replaced the log. Tftc

Took longer than it should, up, down back again. Finally the cache was retrieved.. couldnt sign the log as it was full. TFTC
Walking with the geo-pup, had a brief look on the way to the nearby earthcache, but lost interest quite quickly and continued down the walkway to the next trad. Read a few logs on the way which seemed to confirm we were in the right place, and made a reasonably quick find on the way back. Nicely constructed... just so many places to look! TFTC
After a busy day of getting real life things done I decided a walk at the coast would be a nice finish to the day. Picked out 3 caches that looked like they could be done together and headed out. Really enjoyed the fresh air and exercise and saw a wedding on the beach which was fun!
This one took a lot of looking for but eventually found it. Persistence paid off and the coordinates were spot on. TFTC!

So many possibilities !
Geodaughter, UnicornGirl and I spent over half an hour initially.
We returned after having a break on the beach throwing stones and as others have said “going with the geo-gut feeling the sneaky hide was discovered.
No PAF required just determination.
A favourite point awarded. ️

Today was forecast as a brilliant day, so jesswrigley and I headed to Seacliff for its weekly Saturday parkrun event. Following that, an EarthCache was visited, and we parted ways as I continued to geocache for the rest of the day. I continued to head south targeting higher D/T caches, special cache types, and oldies, and I did see some great locations. Geocaching was done around Kingston Park and Marino, Lonsdale, O'Sullivan Beach, Moana, Maslin Beach, Port Willunga, and finally ending the day at Aldinga. Despite being solo, I actually quite enjoyed keeping myself busy with the combination of driving and jogging caches.
I ran along the coastal path to reach this GZ, despite having the capability to drive and park nearby. This Marino Rocks section was one of my favourite little outings with my dad - we use to look for crabs and climb the rocks around here.
So I had an idea to where this darn evil cache could be, and so after my initial search, I went towards my gut wanted me (as previous others had commented also). After a good 10-15 min of searching and scanning, I decided to reach out for some outside help. A PAF was made, and with their notes, it gave me good enough hint to narrow down my focus, and consequently a find was made. Wow, that is a hard find indeed, and I really do think the difficulty of 3.0 could be higher to 4.0 for this one. I think I would have struggled finding this one without some further hints or advice. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks SunsetDuo for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Argh nanos! Their frustration lies in the search, and even then when found, the difficulty in logging and rolling. Best characterised as that annoying friend that hangs with your bestie!

Third of twelve of my favourite cache type, traditional, found while wandering down the coast from Marino to Hallett Cove.
Managed to spot the camo quite quickly here, but I must admit, it was sticking out a bit.
Thanks SunsetDuo for the cache

Found after short search when on correct elevation. Caching with LíB. Great views today . TFTC
Found with earthlight after attending the nearby CITO.
Took a little while to locate as phones wouldn't settle and working out which elevation we needed.
First thoughts were right so should have gone with gut instincts.
Luckily the rain stopped long enough for the search.

Another Wednesday Wander for some members of the Puzzled Puzzlers group in search of solved puzzles and any other caches we might wander by. Today it was just myself Blackadders and suSHilOrD who is complaining I can't get the upper and lower case in his name right! [^]
sushILord had a DNF at this cache so we just had to stop and rectify that situation. With three sets of eyes the wrong elevations where soon eliminated and the clever hide discovered by the snake. But it is a nano and so the rant has to come......about.......[HERE] would be a good place. [:o)]
Another sad end for a kitten. And a great 'beach' to go for a walk on.

This was the scene of a recent dnf on a very frustrating day of caching. I now see how I missed seeing this well camoed cache.
Thanks for the cache SunsetDou.

After a Doctors appointment left the Adder late for the rendezvous point he had to catch up to the others of the Puzzled Puzzlers troupe consisting of the Starfish and Fish lord.
A previous DNF by Sushilord had us searching high and low literally. With the Adder searching below and checking all the possible objects working his way south to north, the sneaky clever hide was found by the fish lover. TFTC

After 2 multis for the morning it was trad time, arrived at Gz and hunted around but one thing stood out in peoples logs and I could quite see what they meant. A PAF was used and then the cache was found, tricky!!! Can see what others mean though.
A morning trip down to some of the southern suburbs on the coast line (seaview, maarino and Hallet cove). A different spot I had never been before but some lovely views over the coast line and the coastal walk had some amazing views. A lot of muggles out and about as it was not too hot, great to see the weather take a turn after the past week. Some great hides with a total of 19 finds and 1 Did not find.
Thnks for the cache.

Teamed up with RobbieCena for this one. We split up, I searched the top and he searched the bottom. After 5 minutes we noticed that something was not like the others. Great camo! Fav point coming your way. TFTC
Two of us took about 5 minutes to eventually find this one - good camo as well - enjoyed hunting for and finding this one - a well disguised cache in a great location - thanks SunsetDuo!
Took us a while but we got the find in the end.
We spent a lot of time searching the wrong level.

This must be an amazing hide, too smart for us today even with three of us searching for 20 or more minutes. Thanks for the adventure.
With a scene resembling Rundle Mall (Walking, Jogging and dog-walking Muggles like bees in a bee-hive, I never stood a chance attempting a proper search for this one here today, a perfect sunny 27oC Sunday (what was I thinking ha ha ) so even with that killer excuse it is still a DNF so a dreadded Blue-Face it is for this Wee-Blue Birdy today
Think I will return on a wet weekday
TFT challenge anyway, SunsetDuo I will no doubt have another crack soon

Dnf although we looked for ages on a beautiful late afternoon. Loved the area. TFTC
Well this one brought back memories from my childhood in the 60's when the family would come up here on a Sunday evening (we lived at Seacliff) and we would get fish and chips and sit in the car watching the sea as we ate them.
The area has changed a little and I can't remember when I was last here. There were muggles everywhere so I wasn't sure how easy this would be (remembering also that I was looking for a nano.
In the end I found the cache more easily than I first thought and it brought quite the smile. Managed to find it without any muggles being any the wiser. [^]
I must say this was worthy of a favourite point as it is one of my most enjoyable nano finds.
Thanks for the cache SunsetDuo.

This cache offers so much - views, boardwalks, a cache, friendly locals etc. Choices, high or low, if high how high, if low how low. Eventually we noticed something different to others and here we found a lovingly prepared cache container.
