The final for this is going to be a construction zone soon and no longer makes sense. I'll rework the puzzle if I ever spot a similar hiding spot as I like the concept of the solve. Thanks to everyone who visited.

23-Apr-23
Driving past today and saw there is a new fence right where the cache was placed so it needs a check as it is highly likely it is missing.

(# 7571) Day 2 of the West Coast trip primarily to go to the Wild Food Festival in Hokitika. Today we traveled from Nelson to Hokitika and grabbed a few caches on the way. Solved this recently and was a bit of fun. A quick find. Thanks for bringing me here.

Day 2 of caching adventure to the wildfoods festival. Today is Nelson to Hoki. Travelling with Mr McGoo and Justlooking00. After massive ferry cancellations, we have not been sure this trip was going to happen, so are making the most of it.
A great little puzzle Isis58 thank you, found no problem this morning and tucked well away again. TFTC.

14-Dec-22
We spotted this fun cache while having lunch in a Richmond cafe and had a go after lunch. It was quite hard to do on a phone and then we didn't get the coords quickly enough so had to redo it. All fun though and we've done a similar one in Christchurch. We found the hide tricky, spotted eventually by junior cacher in a place I had discounted, TFTC!

25-Oct-22
A bit of fun. And a nice walk.

Such a fun puzzle! And finally there was a good opportunity to find the cache also before leaving town. TFTC!!

Normally, I actively avoid any task that requires me to express myself through any artistic means. The extent to my art ability starts/stops at being able to draw a stickman. This wee puzzle was fun. Easy find at GZ, log was slightly damp but I managed to dry it & SL. TFTC Smile

found on a sunday morning before the traffic got to bad tftc

Found with NZDi, full log to follow.

One of my sons in Whangarei is going on an OE. He sold his car to his brother Tim in Dunedin and fortunately for me Tim wanted me to drive the car down. Of course I jumped at the idea of a geocaching roadie. I've had lots of puzzles solved for such a long time so geoarts were the main target of the trip.

In Palmy area I wanted the shield series and the 20/20 geoart. Then Wairarapa was stickman (which we ran out of time for), the new M geoart and some archived skindo challenges. Wellington was finishing off the kiwi geoart. Nelson I had a few challenges I wanted before heading to Christchurch. It was family time there and perhaps the smile series but time ran out again. Off to Dunedin for the airplane geoart. Then it was time to fly home to say goodbye to my son heading to Denmark.

It was great to have my friend Supernanny come along on the trip for company. We had a wonderful trip and fantastic weather apart from one afternoon. Now it's time to start writing the massive backlog of logs which is taking a while.

I've seen a few like this now and I really enjoyed them. Another quick find on our short stay in Nelson. Thanks for the fun puzzle Smile

Stealth was of the essence to bag this one but thankfully there were a couple of gaps in traffic. TFTC!

15 April 2022 12:02. I had the morning to dash about Collecting as many puzzles as possible. Hardest part was finding a gap in the traffic to cross the road! Tftc.

Thanks for this puzzle & cache, Isis58. I have had the co-ords for some time and was pleased to find it today, to finish a Challenge in Chch
Heading homewards again after a lovely week in Nelson, enjoying the sun and fun.

Well it's still there Smile Finally we got around to this find after having fun with the first part months ago. Mr NZH went into quite a bit more detail with the drawing than me. And I thought I was the artistic one. TFTC

Thank you for the fun puzzle as they are a bit of fun. Completed at home and today the find. TFTH

Called by to check on this one this afternoon after the last log and also because I had noticed the feature the hint refers to had recently wandered off. The cache definitely wasn't where it had been and what it had been attached to had also gone. I was looking for some where to place the replacement I had brought with me when I spotted the log in the grass. Interestingly it appears someone decided they had a better use for the bison and replaced that by double bagging the log and placing the wire ring through the outer one. I have left the replacement but it is quite visible so I will need to come back soon to adjust the hide.

We searched high and low, four grown ups and kids and didn’t manage to track this one down.
We worked a really wide circle in a very exposed spot, but alas didn’t come up with the goods.

20-Aug-21
Out getting a few caches this fine morning. TFTC.

09-Apr-21
Felt really exposed with were I parked the car but anyhow it wasn't yellow lines. Quick find and off I went.

24-Jan-21
Found at 24 January 2021 8:14 pm on day one of a short holiday to the Nelson-Tasman region. As it's an area I haven't cached in before (and a long time since I've visited), I of course wanted to pick up some caches (but not as many as I would have liked, but family came first on this one). Thanks to all the cache owners for putting these out.

I've done several of these types of puzzles, but I think this is the first time I've actually managed to pick up the final on one. A late-evening walk from the motel led me to this spot and I soon spotted the cache. Getting at it on the other hand was a bit trickier, trying to squeeze past the large, immovable object, but got there in the end. All good here, and TFTC

27-Aug-20
A nice quick find, easily spotted as I wandered to GZ, thanks. Solved a while back, collecting the smiley today.

Found as we cruised around Nelson. A nice day for cruising it was too.

Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Enjoyed solving this a long time ago, finally remembered to get the final today! Clue makes perfect sense when you are there!

**Found on our February - March tour around the South Island. Logging back home in Auckland in Lockdown isolation**

We stayed last night at St Arnaud, and this morning travelled to Nelson for a day of signing off on puzzle finals. We have done of few of this type of puzzle now. Loved the name of this one. And loved the final location, hint and hide too, so adding a Favourite point. TFTC

Found while caching with ABL973. Thanks Isis58

28-Jan-20
This is not my first adventure with stickman and I still enjoyed the fun of this. As I was hanging around nearby I figured I'd branch out this way and add my name to the log. Thanks Isis58, I like how you've connected the puzzle elements and your cache hide together! Deserves a favourite me thinks.

14-Dec-19
Heading out to my focus area today I could not help getting a few on the way. So stopped and had a search, this one has had some work done at GZ, eventually spotted the cache all good just a few metres away. Really liked this puzzle/game, I think I have my stick man saved as a photo especially for logging this. It’s not my best work....... TFTC Isis, FP from me.

Another day in Nelson/Tasman today, and the aim is to get some bike friendly ones. So I targeted a few trails and loops, then winged the rest of the day. Brightwater was the general area today, as there are also a few COs that I want to increase my find tallies on, and this area was a good start. A handful of DNFs but overall pretty happy with about 35 found. Thanks all COs.

29-Sep-19
Cache moved ever so slightly due to a memo which I never received about this type of placement. Coordinates still the same and hint updated.

Thanks Isis58!
That was fun 'solving' and I also enjoyed the find as it made sense.
Nice idea!
Busy road but I just took my time standing and observing, touching a but around until I suddenly had it in my hands.

This was another quick find with thanks to tThe Seagnoid for solving this puzzle.. Cheers
As he recommends - Lets give this one a try. So I draw my Stickwoman and fight off the dragon. Did not quite get drowned and got what I hope is the solution,. But here is where it all falls apart for me and once back at cache page with the new cords in the checker it promptly tells me "REcaptcha Validation Fault' So I have no idea now what to do. But did enjoy my stickman experience.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are off on another geotrip to Nelson. We are on the hunt for points for the Carnival season so targeting the best caches Nelson has to offer. Zara is keeping the neighbours company while we zip around with Toby.

30-Mar-19
This is a cute puzzle, if you can actually call it that. Told Taybeedragon she should have a go at this one.

With the latest Groundspeak promotion, Cache Carnival, I loaded my GPS with a pocket query containing all caches with 10 favourites or more between Nelson and Motueka. Over 1000 carnival points, should be enough to get me to 500 and the Grand Poobah souvenir; Rio de Janeiro. Except that I forgot the other aspect of the game, and I started this trip with 350 points, achieved while sitting on my arse, doing nothing. Taybeedragon has bet that I can get to 500 without finding a single cache, simply due to others placing favourites on my caches.
So anyway here we are, Taybeedragon and I, targeting better-than-average caches.
Took only 8 cache finds to get to 500 points. Yet to see if I could have done it with no finds at all...

In town on a wee family summers holiday visiting family. Grew up in Richmond - gosh its changed! A fun adventure that I've completed a few times now. Stopped by GZ this morning for a quick find and sign. Cheers.

A fun puzzle. Stopped off here this afternoon (not right at GZ though) and made the find. TFTC

31-Dec-18
Solved this one ages ago but just had to wait for the right time to get it. Tonight was the night with few cars/muggles around. Made the grab quickly but had to wait a bit before putting it back. Last one for the year. tftc

Tregearp did the hard work on this one with a quick joint find whilst out doing some chores this afternoon. All in good order, signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache Isis58.

Had a lot of fun with the puzzle and sorted the other puzzle out for the next trip to the UK. Today with a few meetings nearby and a halfday off work SJT_NZ and I managed a quick find at the final, Thanks Isis58 for the fun.

Found with StreetWalker on day one of our long weekend visit to Nelson.
Have done a few of these puzzles in the past, but always fun to do another. Luckily artistic skills are not required to earn the co-ordinates Razz. We weren't sure of parking, and had a wee walk in front of us, but SW spotted a much closer park and went back to retrieve the car while I carried on walking.
Despite reaching GZ first, my caching brain had not yet engaged and didn't spot the cache. SW to the rescue! Thanks Isis.

Great puzzle although needed to re-run as not quick enough to write down first time. Quick find tonight. Got a toot while here so maybe a cacher?

Great morning walk and quick find. Cool puzzle. Thanks for the cache.

Its Queens Birthday Weekend so we are off caching for the long weekend. Todays route took us from Motueka through the Rai Valley to Blenheim. A fun solve that I have seen before. A nice easy find today although I did feel abit exposed and kept looking to see if anyone else was looking our way. Thanks for placing this cache here for everyone else's enjoyment. Smile

02-Jun-18
Another exposed position...geocachers must be unafraid of spectators ...not so good on drawing stickmen...but it worked

26-May-18
A lot of weekends we hop in the car and travel a bit to go caching. It makes you accumulate local caches. The excuse being that they might come in handy for something. We felt that it was time to reduce those a bit and put together a list. Solving this wee mystery is such a delightful time waster I've done it over and over Big Grin A fav. Thank you Isis58

26-May-18
It's been fairly quiet in a geocaching sense for us for a couple of weeks so today we decided it was time to get out and find some of the recent placements and solved puzzles which had been kept for a 'rainy day'.
What an enjoyable cache this is and I freely admit to 'solving' it more than once. An appropriate GZ too.
Thank you Isis58.

26-May-18
Enjoyed the puzzle. Have done one like this before.

What a novel idea for a cache and very easy puzzle to solve.
Found along with KE while heading out for a bike ride. Could see the connection to the puzzle to GZ. TFTC

12-May-18
The most fun I've had solving a geocaching puzzle for a very long time. Brilliant idea. Smile It was solved the first day published but not found until today when passing by gz at the start of a Saturday morning bike ride with my Dad. It was only on the way to gz that I realised the cool connection between it and the puzzle which brought another smile to my face. An obvious fav. Thanks Isis58.

11-May-18
I too had seen this a few years back, although not in a geocaching context, so kudos for linking the two for a bit of puzzle fun.

Through work-based distractions I needed about three attempts to gather the coordinates and the stored these for a rainy day.

Hey! It was rainy today so off I went to search. I was initially led in one direction but after a fruitless search there, and having let my phone make its mind up, I headed off to another object close by and found the cache in the first place I tried.

Conclusion: a good piece of geocaching puzzle fun

Thanks

Took a walk after dark and found the cache even though we were being watched by some Muggles in a truck. TFTC

01-May-18
I enjoyed solving this one when it was published, in fact I solved it several times, just for fun. I loved the way everything about the cache fitted together so neatly. We took an after dinner stroll along the street to sign the log and collect the smilie. It was quite fun caching in the dark though we were a little concerned about the person who pulled up opposite. Were they interested in what we were up to or was it just coincidence that they stopped right there???? - - - We'll never know - - -- hopefully Smile.
TFTC Big Grin.

I was fascinated with this puzzle
Enjoyed the walk to this cache.
Arrived at GZ and it wasn’t long before the Cache was in our hands

Fun little puzzle to solve, found late at night on our way home from dinner. A good time to grab it, since it would usually be a busy place. TFTC Smile

I liked this puzzle from the moment I opened the new listing and started to doodle, right through until arriving at G Z today and spotting the link. I even noted the provisional cache name on the log sheet though the pun-tastic current name is the winner in my eyes, F P for the whole package especially the accompanying features at G Z. T F T C Isis58

That time of the week/month so off over the 'hill' to see what delights (in a caching sense) await this visiting Marlburian cacher. It's only been a month or so since the last visit but a fair selection of new listings have popped up since last visit. Some puzzles have been solved and some Easy Peasy ones not solved, but there are always other times to try again.

We were on the road before 9 this morning, and back home at around 6 pm so a good day out. Not too many caching finds for the day, but quality rather than quantity seemed to be the order of the day. Quite poor finding stats for the trip, only 1/5 finds for the 2 hours whilst mrs shopped in the main town, better luck during their Richmond visit.

Ah ha! Nice one! A puzzle that was a joy to solve... Solved the puzzle yesterday and headed out before lunch to look for the cache. Found the cache in the second place I looked. TFTC, Biggles.

I was still trying to draw a sword when the blank log became no longer blank.
I then thought that the corrected coordinates were still at the Mall car park. Haha.
Eventually I got to GZ and became 2TF half an hour after M and G.
I enjoyed the fun puzzle, thank you.

Mrs SoBad took the puzzle to a conclusion last evening - but too late she thought to take the cache to a conclusion with a find.
This morning she decided a wee round trip would allow her to get an S and I cache - to make up for the SIS not have been on a trip for too long. The spot was so appropriate for the puzzle that she was smiling as she approached. A fun puzzle with an appropriate GZ - so a second favourite point for the morning. It did help that the site was very forgiving of very poor drawing.
Thanks.

I was parked up watching the Commonwealth Games when I noticed some emails arrive, I had a look at a couple and wondered if I would head off towards Motueka for a multi - decided to have a look at the mystery caches first as they were a bit closer to home.
This was fun, and very doable. Now my dilemma, do I go on my own or do I wake up GK and see if he would come with me??
I went to the bedroom and tiptoed around like an elephant while I got dressed. No he still had not woken. I asked if he was awake - I thought that would do it - but no.
As I was about to leave I heard GK ask if I was ok - I told him that there was a {FTF} in Richmond and I was going to see if I could find it, within seconds he was up and dressed and ready to accompany me. I feel very lucky to have such a supportive hubby. It may be that he has caught the caching bug.
The cache was quickly found and we were delighted to see a shiny clean log. It was 11-47pm when we signed it. We were surprised at how much traffic was around at that time of the night. Anyway, thank you Isis58 for a mystery I could manage and the {FTF}
