We are in Horsham for a long weekend away. Having never cached in this area, it is going to help us with a number of challenges. The hardest being GCA0HZW, where you need 20 geocaches in each Victorian LGA. We should get that in Horsham, probably not in the West Wimmera, Hindmarsh, and Yarriambiack LGAs that we will all be also visiting. After the event in Horsham and then brunch, it was time to head west to the West Wimmera LGA, stopping at Mt Arapiles first. Our original plan was to grab lunch in a bakery in Natimuk, but we didn't realise the town is so small that there is only a General Store. As such, just a quick stop to stretch the kegs here. The old jail is cool. Thanks for the cache, duntulum.Hunter
Nice early morning find. Short walk from parking area. Interesting history and location. Easy magnetic find nearby. Thanks for the hunt. Left pathtag.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Easy find. Replaced the plastic bag as it had a hole on it and swaps where falling out. Tftc.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Getting the official tour of Natimuk with Australian adventure royalty, OAM Brigitte Muir. We found this one together. I might have made a Geocaching convert.TFTC!

On our way to Horsham from Naracoorte. Stopped to do the AL in this quaint little town. Oh the old cell next to the court house is a classic. So pleased it is being preserved. Tftc
TFTC,Heading home after a 9 week trip and finishing with some western Victoria LGA's we have not previously been to. Visited trackablesQuick find.
Quick find by wazza9, we had lunch nearby, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to CO I thought I would be looking for a tractor
Found this cache whilst on our two month adventure throughout central Australia and remote parts of WA.2 for the price of 1 here. A quick find. Thanks to all the COs for adding to our adventure. TFTC
Day two with Day on our LGA collection trip around Western Victoria.Today we started at Mortlake, traveled across West Wimmera, and finished in Horsham..The weather was somewhat changeable, but we stayed mostly dry.Like others we found the magnet where the cache should be?, but no logbook to sign.I will change this to a DNF if you want. Thanks, Robmc.
I think the tack to stick it under the bench isnt working now. But is a nice spot
Hey there, the magmatic bit has fallen off. Weve done our best to reattach, but itll need to help from you. Thanks
Heading towards Horsham today not sure where I am staying. Last time in this area would have been 30 years ago and by bus
Easy find doing the adventure lab. Cheers *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
I forgot a pen today. On way to Mt Gambier so stopped for a quick find. Interesting place. Thanks for history lesson.

Easy find, TFTC. We stopped here on the way home to Melbourne from Naracoorte to have lunch. Lovely day for it. Heaps of earwigs in the cache and my geokid got quite startled. Logbook probably needs a little ziplock bag though.
*Found on the 17 Aug 2023 @ 10:51 am.*
*Cache find # 14936.*
My plans for today, had me going passed this one, it was just as well as the rain put a hold on my plans for today, at least I got to find this cache.
**Thanks to Duntulum for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

We stayed in ‘Nati’ as the locals say after a very long drive last night. The fireplace was so welcomed. We hardly moved after that.
Nice hide.
Nice hide.
Another good quick find while heading towards Mt Gambier. Log was signed, cache replaced and I was on my way again.
Thanks for this one duntulum....

Stopped for breakfast at the local cafe. Used the chance to stop and finally find this cache.
Unfortunately (?) the craft shop was open, slightly distracted for a bit to buy some home made goodies, then off to find the nicely placed cache. Great buildings and thank you for placing this cache here
While passing through Natimuk on my way to Horsham I took a break to do the Adventure Lab and to look for this cache. A good point about this cache was I was able to learn a bit about John Derry so I have awarded a favourite point. Thank you for the cache.
Three day Melbourne Dash
Day Three: Melbourne to Gumeracha
Weather: amazingly cool after yesterday, with light rain in Victoria.
I’ve stopped in Natimuk once before in my pre caching days, and got the impression that half the people living here were rock climbers. I won’t be attempting any high terrain caches today, but this one was within my reach.
Thanks again Duntulum.

Two caches in town and I couldn’t find either of them!! I’m going to blame the very annoying mosquitoes some of which were big enough to carry me away!!
At least I was able to complete the local Adventure Lab
Shame the mozzzies couldn’t be looked up and charged with public annoyance!
TFTC duntulum

An easy cache in a nice town, a nice spot for a break on our continental crossing. Cheers!
Great to stop in at the farmers market to get lunch on the way back to Adelaide
Found with fitzy_1965 on an interstate weekend away collecting counties.
Today ended up being a very long day with us travelling from Hamilton to home (Goulburn) ….arriving after midnight. The motel we found was one of the best we have stayed in to date. I’d definitely like to come back again soon. We collected the rest of the counties that we wanted along with more adventure labs and virtuals in some fabulous locations. A much nicer day for travelling and caching today.
Of the caches we tried, they were found quickly and easily. Thanks so much to each and every CO.
This log was a bit wet.

28,084. Found with minniek during a caching run down to Ballarat and southwest Victoria in general.
Day 3. After staying overnight at a really lovely and well maintained motel in town, and munching down on Kebabs, Banana and Pineapple Fritters for dinner from Chris's Kebab and Grill, we headed out bright and early to continue our SouthWest Loop picking up some Local Government Areas/Counties as part of our quest to finish all the Victorian ones this year. This was the next cache on our list, and we made a quick find at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on our way.
Thanks duntulum !!
