Visited the location recently, and have decided to not replace the hide here as it doesn't fit with the type of hides I want to do going forward.
Happy caching all.....
Happy caching all.....
Checked this out today....and definitely gone.
Plan to be back with a slightly different cache, that will hopefully hide better.
Hope to be in play within a week.
Thanks for your patience.

As rustynz has pointed out we believe we found the tether but no cache or log.
On a meandering tour around One Tree Hill and decided to make a detour to find this cache. Well there was a bit of meandering being done around GZ, and eventually I spotted the tie, and sadly the cache was not see. Hmm may need a check. I hope it was ok, as I was travelling light, so I signed a piece of paper at GZ, but I suggest the cache might need a check?
Thanks for the hide Stik-a-crane, thanks for bringing me here

My first find! Went at night in the cold and it was hard to spot but found it eventually!!
Found it lying on the ground. Replaced it as per hint. Hope it’s in the right place. Tftc
Easy find! Waited for the school kids to pass then made a run for the bushes. Tftc
Found with Sportynz and the munchkin Indie007. Nice end to the day after an unsuccessful shopping trip
nice close parking area, the hint could mean a few here, caching with my phone it wouldn't settle but i soon had the cache in hand, tftc
So excited to find my second one! very easy once I’ve read through hints hehe..
I had to be quick at GZ.
When arrived playground was empty but then one family showed up.

Had popped to Dresssmart to sort out final gear for Tongariro Alpine Crossing next month and Mr Keylev was at a local building fixing a computer. As can happen this was taking longer then expected so I went to keep busy and find some caches.
Quick find in the obvious spot.
Thanks for the cache.

Swim with the kids at onehunga, followed by a quick gc on the way to lunch. Perfect school holiday day. Tftc

What a funny little reserve right here!
Never noticed it before!

Was initially discouraged by the earlier DNF, but soon found when I widened my search area. First of the day. TFTC
Had to wait a while for the playground to clear but then it was a pretty quick find! TFTC.

Thank you so much ! (For replacing it) great little find to do on a Saturday morning
I noticed a few DNF's appearing here, and was contacted by a fellow cacher for an extra hint to locate this one.....so whilst I was in the area decided to take a look, and sure enough some work had been done in the area, and the cache was gone.
I have replaced the cache, and updated the hint, so all good to go.
Happy hunting.

Found the sun lounger that people are speaking of, but no sign of the cache - might need someone to check if this one is still here?
My first DNF tonight. I found the sun lounger that previous logs referred to but couldn't see the cache anywhere. It was dark and I didn't feel comfortable shining my light around in the back end of a playground.
Ummm it was full of ants so too scared to open and log but tftc! Wasnt sure what to find then looked upwards thanks to previous finds
A tiny diversion on the way home and I again have smiley faces dotted around home. It was nice to read about the history of Tin Tacks Corner. I knew there was something but not the details. Thank you.
Today I came to Auckland to collect some solved puzzles and this cache was close by. So I decided to go for it.
The hint was very helpful ! Nice and easy hide. Tftc

#6682. I am up in Auckland for several days attending meetings and presenting a talk at night. After todays meeting at the museum finished at 3pm, I had a few spare hours before my flight back to Wellington tonight. So slowly making my way back to the airport via a few inner city caches. Suddenly found myself in Onehunga. Have done a few caches in this area previously. This one must be fairly new. Wandered to the GZ and after a short search spied the container. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the cache Stik-a-crane.
Came up to Auckland for the weekend to see Rodriguez/Sugarman but the concert has been cancelled. Well more time for caching! Loved the local story. Cache all fine although there was a sun lounger right below it. Looks like someone else may hang out here although it was deserted when we were there. TFTC
Took us a wee while but after a while things looked up and sure enough there it was. Tftc
I'm from Switzerland and spend 4 months in New Zealand on vacation. Found this cache after a few minutes search, thanks.
Had wanted to find this cache for a while. Thankfully there were no muggles at the park so while we enjoyed milkshakes and the swings we also quickly retrieved the cache. TFTC
It was a very busy day with kids in park and also at the nearby playschool. I was able to sneak in to a well-hidden area which gave me the opportunity to search for the cache unobserved. With a few clues from the logs, I knew where to look and spotted the cache quickly. TFTC.
I arrived at GZ and after a quick search, decided to read some previous logs which help zero in on the little blighter. TFTC.
I parked up and made the short walk to GZ. Upon arriving, the cache could be just about anywhere. After searching the obvious places and then the not so obvious, the cache just couldn't be found. Maybe some guidance on where to search could help. In the end I had to settle for a DNF.
Out trying to fill in a few of the gaps on our map again this afternoon and as the weather is pretty nice there were quite a few muggles at the gz.thank goodness we made a quick find here before anyone had time to wonder what we were up to.
Another quick find as Mr P and try and keep the radius around our house cache free. T4tc
The excitement is real - this was our first find!! Little bit tricky to find but got there in the end.
We felt like a bit of night caching and thought this would be a good one to start with.
The park was deserted but also very dark so we had to use torches which made us feel a bit conspicuous but fortunately we managed to spot the cache quite quickly.
Nice hiding spot. TFTC.

Great hide, bit of a struggle. Found with ungrateful_friend after shopping at dressmart. Tftc
