I tried and failed to find this cache, gave the area a good search following the hint. Thank you HappyUke for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
@0745I'm visiting Bowral for the weekend. Yesterday's focus was the Mt Jellore walk. Today was finding as many caches as we could before it was time to head back to Canberra. The first couple of caches was on my own, then I was joined by Flintstone's for the rest of the day, and by Search4 for part of the day. Just over 50 caches (including 9 lab caches) in total. This one proved elusive (or were we too impatient?)
Sadly with the road upgrade the container has gone Replaced container and logHappy caching
We found it in the night. My girlfriend stuck her hand in a hole searching for the cache and almost touched what she thought was a snakes head luckily after further evaluation it was a big lizard. TFTC
Out on an early morning trip today mopping up a variety of caches in the Southern Highlands.
No star gazing this morning- after nabbing the cache it was off towards the CITO. TFTC!

A nice little spot on the side of the road with a good view! We even learnt some history as well! Thank you for the cache!
Out caching with mrwhiskers76 today. We stopped at this one along the way our caching journey today. A beautiful view and the hint made for a nice find. Thank you!
Just did a check on this one and the cache was still safe in its hidy spot.
Not really sure what last cacher was talking about. Not a difficult hide just look for a pile of rocks.

We found the log in the grass, but couldn't find the container it came out of, we put it in a different container to keep it out of the weather
Only found the log, put it in a container we had in the car to keep it out of the weather
Found this cache while out geocaching near the Moss Vale, NSW area. The cache was in good condition unless stated otherwise. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.
Here is a little information about me. I have been geocaching since March 2015. At the time of finding this cache, I have over 8550 finds plus 1120 hides. I am the creator of the “Duck Dip” Lab Cache that won 2nd Place for the Australian Capital Territory in the State Vs State - Battle of the Lab Caches at the OzGeoMuster - The Gong Mega (GC7N7ZC) 2019 in Wollongong, Australia. It was my love of Geocaching that helped me find my lovely Wife. I have dedicated a Geocache to her that explains how Geocaching brought us together. That Cache is The Blueiris of Tidbinbilla by DARKSIDEDAN. | GC80WHA | Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
Currently I have over 10,000 Pathtags in my Collection plus over 500 Etagz. My collection includes over 300 JMC Pathtags and 180 Charlie Harper Pathtags. I love to trade pathtags with people at events or via post within Australia only. I currently have four Personal Pathtags 45762 / 46950 / 47696 / 47987 with another three in the works. Note: I do not trade overseas (Australia Only) so please do not ask. Also I do not log my Pathtags on Pathtags.com to keep what I have in my collection private. If you are selling your Pathtags or want to swap Pathtags send me a message. As a bonus to reading this very long log, please feel free to discover my Virtual Trackable AR6QTT. Yes this is my Personal Virtual Trackable and I give permission for you to discover it. Please feel free to share my Virtual Trackable with every geocacher you know.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it.
Geocache Poem
by DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.

***** I am currently writing very detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author". This Badge challenges geocachers to write logs with an average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the May 2021 my average is 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 200 words for a long period of time to get my average up. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After more than 8000 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including today I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task very soon. Progress has been better than anticipated.

**This Cache:**
Took a while to uncover this tiny little bison, but got there eventually after almost running out of options! Ahhhh there it is!
Thanks Great location
**Today:**
A trip to the Southern Highlands today with DSD to clean up some of the more "Park and Grab" style caches, rather than being super focused like I usually am! We also managed to sneak in some of the solved puzzles on my list too which were on my to-do list and happened to be along the routes we were taking!
All up a fairly productive day, with 45 finds over a 5 hour period excluding the driving time to/from Canberra. We had a few DNF's and a LOTTT of Did Not Attempts, unfortunately there seems to be a lot of missing caches around the place.
Thanks to all the CO's!

Found this when on my way home from Bowral on the back way. Hint did not relate to where i found the Cache. Log was very wet,but it dried out in a few minutes in the sun. Replace it where i found , not where the hint indicated. TFTC
We found the original cache here a few years ago. Nice to stop again on a lovely sunny winters day. TFTC
Checked here on the way home... found it had gone caving down a crevice... just managed to retrieve it, gave it a stern talking to and placed back in its safe hidey spot.
All good to go now!

I wanted to find one of my good mates caches today. I was traveling back to Sydney after 2 weeks in the Highlands with the parents and decided to get this one on the way. Thankfully found it quickly.

Tuesday was soooo windy, it blew the camo away... so the cache is no longer hanging off the fence. You could say the cache is now rocking it!

I was passing this on the opposite side of the road, so I drove onto the nearby roundabout and did a u-turn and returned. A quick find with the hint. TFTC HappyUke.
#7238. My last day of the Australia trip. Been having a good time touring around caches in Sydney, Canberra and now over here near Wollongong after visiting the Mega event. Today was the least structured day of the trip. I need to be back in Sydney by 4pm at the latest for my flight home and so haven't really planned any target caches. Just picking up a few that seem interesting as I head inland and back along the highway north to airport.
Following the Tourist Road route (being a tourist). Surprising amount of traffic along this section of the road today. Parked at the plaque and enjoyed the view as cars drove past. Then started the search. Took way longer than it needed to. Its amazing how easy it is to ignore the obvious. Looks like any muggle would find it but I was looking for it and it took me a few minutes. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks HappyUke for hiding it here.

Followed the iPhone at first but after reading previous logs I didn’t think it would be in “those” spots and when I widened my search the hint made perfect sense! Easy find TFTC
No stars as it's daytime but interesting history on the plaque nearby. This is the second cache I have found at this location. TFTC!
I’ve had a hiatus from caching due to a battle with bowel cancer, I’m on the road to recovery. I did misplace my caching log hence the highly delayed logging.
( I have photo proof of signed log and cache if needed)

Finally the Geowife's lunch up north is on - took quite a few attempts at this one. So after dropping her and a friend at the station I headed south for more ***Cache Plundering In The Southern Highlands***.
I decided to start with a puzzle for which I've had the solution for a while. Well, wasn't that one exciting? A new experience after over five and a half thousand finds!
Then went for another seventeen in the area - with one DNF and one DNAttempt.
And home in time for... actually the Geowife said she only beat me home by 5 minutes.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked nearby and made my way to the plaque. Nice view as well.
The iPhone was pointing away from the logical spots - which were empty. So... Followed the needle and... Gotcha. Sneakily done.
Signed and replaced.
Onwards!

Not many stars while we were there, but at least we had the sun out after all the rain. The view is not as good as I remembered, with a lot of taller trees now in the way, but it is still worth a visit. The cache was very nicely hidden from sight and easily logged. Thanks HappyUke for a good hide with a nice view, plus a flock of goats who were bleating at us.
In the highlands today with Hoojar as we celebrated International Earthcache Day. Under gloomy skies and in between persistent showers of rain we managed to grab a handle of caches for the morning.
Our last find for the day. Spotted it after a brief respite in the weather.
Thanks

I did not have any plans to coming do any geocaching today, but a chance conversation with The Rats on Friday evening changed that. He pointed out that there were two events on in the Highlands today, and that he could get away for a morning out. And just like that, some plans were hatched.
We headed off reasonably early, and made our way to the first event. Between events we found one of the new Geo Trails nearby, and then headed to the second event. Finally we nabbed some Mittagong caches, before visiting an Earth Cache (apparently that is a thing today) and heading back for home. An excellent morning out, despite the cold weather, and at times torrential rain!
Last find before heading for home.
Thanks to all of the cache hiders for their efforts in placing and maintaining their hides. It was fantastic exploring this part of the world.
Cheers

Last one of the day and last one in the area left! Found a cache here a long time ago, must have been archived? Good to see a new cache here!
