Logs
This cache was missing last time we looked for it but thanks to CO maintenance it is now back in play. We remembered looking in a tree for this one the new spot threw us for a moment but then we saw the cache had been moved. Quickly spotted the hide, signed and replaced, tucked under properly so cant be seen from above. Enjoyed retracing our steps here, so little water today compared to last time. TFTC 2ystassies
Great little geocahce. Put a mini resin duck in it in exchange for a beautiful coing. It was full of water tho. Log book intact and we dried it out a bit but you might wanna check on it for maintenance. Got a photo with a dog named Benji for the trackable were planning on hiding in the next small cache.
Hi 2y'stassies.Today VK7HCH continued our plundering of caches between home and the northwest of the state. On Day 1 of the plunderage, your cache was one of those that we found. We worked our way from Mangalore to Deloraine via the Central Highlands finding caches as we went. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
Swampy and I decided that we needed to continue our plunder of caches in the north west of the state. Countless hours were spent solving puzzles, planning routes and generally preparing for the onslaught. This was going to encompass caches both from GC and GCA. Thanks 2y'stassies, this cache, MTM - Tidal Creeks, is my GC find # 1877 and was found on 16 August 2024 03.39. Your cache was visited by my trackables:TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Our first time to this beautiful spot! Geology and kids very happy walking. For once remembered my pen and dropped.some coins. TFTC.

Little walk around Pig Island before we head off to the spirit home. First of the circuit, TFTC
Took us a little be managed to spy it. Great little one with a peaceful view. Cheers
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Hadn't realised that this was an island but such a great little spot to explore. I see this had moved and was found after a short search. Thanks 2y'stassies for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
We checked this cache this afternoon and the cache was missing, probably having fallen from its now enlarged hide onto the ground and down into the vegetation beside the creek. We have decided to replace the cache in a different location, very close to where it was originally hidden (it was moved because it kept going missing). So there is a new hide in a new location with new coordinates and hint.
Coordinates changed from:S 41 13.781 E 146 23.882Coordinates changed to:S 41 13.802 E 146 23.864Distance from original: 152.1 feet or 46.4 meters.Refer to the Owner Maintenance log for details.
Today we finally left Devonport after 6 nights and lots of different weather for a change of scenery and headed all the way to Latrobe. Its quite different here.We had a lovely walk at Bells Parade and then trundled along the bike path back towards Devonport to collect the balance of the caches in the Westies series. The most splendid of summers afternoons, beautiful weather. Sadly no platypus spotted today but lots of birds. Sadly we were unable to locate this one we did find a crystal hidden in the fork of the tree which was very pretty. TFTH
This was a DNF almost three years ago but that was corrected when I made a relatively quick find on this occasion. It is a nice walk around the island whether with a "woofer" or not.
After walking down to the Devonport ANZAC dawn service and back, we grabbed the dog and came out for a leisurely stroll on a beautiful autumn day TFTC
Loved this walk, the track was blocked soon after this find so we were happy to be able to find this one. Thanks
Really enjoyed wandering around this large area with my special pet. She can be so goofy at times.

It appears that this cache has been the victim of the floods late last year. We have replaced the cache in a slightly different, but close by, location. The container has been changed - now a small preform tube - with the coordinates and hint being updated.
Coordinates changed from:
S 41° 13.782 E 146° 23.884
Coordinates changed to:
S 41° 13.781 E 146° 23.882
Distance from original: 11.2 feet or 3.4 meters.
Now in a different, but very close by, location.

Couldn't find, wasn't sure how far in off the track it might be, tricky footing from debris from floods
Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip
Day Three: North West Tasmania.
Weather: threatening to rain all day.
I’ve chosen Latrobe to spend the night - I did some locum work in the hospital here many years ago and it’s nice to be back. This is one of the caches I managed on foot from the caravan park.
This cache looked good, but the log was quite wet. The camo is wearing off, and the colour underneath makes it an easy find. I struck up a conversation with a local walking her dogs here.
Thanks for the cache and series 2y’stassies.

After adventuring through the tidal worlds, after being chased by wild bears and flying fish we scrambled down the creek bed and suddenly came upon the heavily disguised canister! Brilliant adventurers!
We thought we would try and escape the icy gales at home for a stroll in Latrobe. Paid off with barely a breeze here.
Quick find, now onwards to the next

The damp log has been removed and replaced with a new one in a sealed plastic bag. The rubber seal on the container has also been replaced. All ready to go again.
Beautiful day for a walk with the kids. Does need a replacement paper which I didn’t have with me.
Wasn’t screwed up properly, so the log is wet. Didn’t have paper to replace sorry.
As we were about to give up…dada! We’ll camouflaged. Great find. Gps a little up and down. Badly needs a new log. TFTC
I was walking away writing my DNF about to claim cache blindness also after checking every tree in the spot when I spotted the cabletie and a little camouflaged cache!
Log was replaced in a ball ripped and full needs replacing
Thanks for the tricky find
