I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi GraciesGPSfunThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Today we collected some caches in the Haruru and Pahia area. This was one of them. After finding the right path it was an easy find. Tftc.
Found with goldielover today. Nice and quiet up here.
All good here with your cache
All good here with your cache
Found during our walk around town after the Fullers Hole in the Rock cruise this morning. Lots of fun. TFTC
After no luck finding this cache 2 years ago, we’ve returned and today we had success! TFTC
Good find on our way to a geocaching event with nessvab and yvettetb. Container was out in the open when found so we've tucked it away out of sight, still in same location. Great views on the way up. Tftc
Probably my last find up this way for who knows how long.... on a bit of an adventure up from Timaru with my muggle brother. We had fantastic weather and a few kms were traveled, including 2 boat trips to Russell and a helicopter flight to the hole in the rock. Thank you for placing your cache for me to find and adding something extra to our trip.
An easy find late in the afternoon after quietly walking past a sleeping (or drunk) local a few metres downhill from GZ.
Signed the log and carefully replaced the cache as found.
TFTC.

Over on a whistle stop tour of NZ from Scotland grabbing caches when we can. Quite a hike up the hill but a good view of bay. Tftc
Found while in the area with our cruise ship. Found with Mark J 57. Marked the log with the letters PM. Thanks for the hide.
The last few days of our Cruise from Australia. Only ended up in Bay of Islands due to wild weather on the East Coast. Dropped off one of our path tags featuring our dog Eve who unfortunately had to stay home. TFTC
Decided to grab a few caches today with kiwitrecker1. Located the unsigned track and enjoyed the view before going up a little further and finding the cache itself. Thanks for bringing us to this excellent view point!
Came up to Paihia from Auckland for a few days and thankfully just missed the big cyclone that ruined a lot of people's trips, although it did knock off a few days of our trip as well. Today is our last full day and we decided to take a walk down the entire paihia and getting the caches along the way.
We've picked up RandomExplorer's pathtag of their pet dog Eve who couldn't come with them on their cruise here (first time encountering one of these!) and will make sure Eve gets the New Zealand adventure they missed out on!

Checking up. All is well here. I have hidden a bigger cache here and it contains the old log and a new dry log sheet.
Found cache open with log book removed and both completely soaked. Cache owner aware and will sort ASAP I did not hid it well as was unsure where proper spot was. Just so people know probably worth waiting a week or so before attempting.
Found whilst on a little tiki tour with Mrs NZ Travellers. Made the short climb up, quick find and then appreciated the view….windy and sunny up here today!
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thank you for hiding this geocache (It took me, my sister, my dad my auntie and my Nana a whole to find it) great hiding place. Thanks again . Eli 9 yo
Nice, found it dry and covered well with local debris. Beautiful view across the water today. T4tc
Visiting from the Majestic Princess. TFTC[8d] Thanks to the local gentleman and his dog max for showing us the path up the hill.
We were staying at Whatuwhiti and are now driving back down to Whangarei. What a lovely sheltered spot with a gorgeous view nearby
No issues here.
We tried to work out how to get this one in the morning on the way out to Waitangi, but could not work out how to get up there. It was pretty obvious when we drove past the second time, so we got this in the afternoon on our way back.
A nice view up here, TFTC GraciesGPSfun.
Day 7 of our two-week road trip through Northland, and today it was Waitangi and Kerikeri.
We had a great morning at Waitangi.
We arrived just in time for the guided tour, which was very fortunate.
Our guide was informed and entertaining, and posed many points to ponder in this special place.
This morphed nicely into a cultural show that was also polished and funny, the first time I have experienced anything like this in my homeland.
This is my third time to these grounds, but the first time I have experienced anything like this. Another addition for me was the great Te Rau Aroha museum that opened just 2 years ago.
For RG72, it was her first time here and she enjoyed all of it.
Later in the afternoon we popped out to Kerikeri to take in the awesome space around the Stone Store, the Reserve Basin.
There are some great old buildings out here, a pa, a church and some nice walks as well as waterfalls. Some retail therapy after that, and we have had a good day.
Thanks all COs.

Our first stop as we arrive in Paihia.
I hadn't read the previous logs, so was surprised to see a tent about 20mts from gz. There was no sign of anyone, so I quickly and quietly found the cache, and got out as quick as I could.
Lovely views from the lookout. Shame its such a cloudy day today.
Thanks for putting this here

We are staying in the Bay of Island for a week, so of course had to come and find the local caches. Made our way up the hill to the lookout and soon had this cache in hand. We could see a tent in the bush not too far away, but no one in sight. TFTC
Drizzly day, but still able to have a meander to look for a cache and have a push play walk up to the lookout. Tent occupier still in residence and was talking to himself or to a friend who was unseen. View okay considering the weather conditions, but nice enough. Thanks for bringing us here today.
Nice old guy camping about 30meters away from geocache the manuka trees aren't so small any more.
Thank you GraciesGPSfun we might have overlooked coming up here if we hadn't been searching for Geocahes and well worth the very short climb. Not troubled by the 'camper' who may not have been in residence anyway.
Vacation time is Geocache time. Found a few over the years in Paihia. Glad to be adding to our total. Such an unexplored and unexpected view or Paihia and Russell. Thanks for helping us to explore a bit more of our land. TFTV.
Found it! Didn’t bring a pen so couldn’t write our name. It’s under some branches
A nice easy ( yeah right) stroll from our motel. Been up this way heaps, but never up there..cheers V
Located this one on a bike ride before breakfast, and before we continued on our journey to Kerikeri. Found reasonably quickly. Yes, great views from this point. #4633. TFTC.
Quick find today while travelling around New Zealand in our house bus. TFTC!

The rain wasnt going to stop us, we chucked on our raincoats. Veiw wasnt as nice from the top due to the weather. But found easily enough.
To celebrate my 40th Birthday (which was during lockdown) with Yvettetb we are trying to find 40 caches on our 40 hour adventure. Day 2 started in Paihia in the rain.

Cache 31 of 40 - nice walk up to the lookout. Unfortunately it's raining so views aren't fabulous. Easy quick find. Thanks for bringing me here.
