Hunby had to drop the bike off to otaki for some work so I followed in the car and then we grabbed some caches before heading home, thanks for the placement, so lucky with lovely weather.
(# 8045) Got this on my walk to the shipwreck. A lovely day for a wander. A quick find was had.
Thanks tmann421 for bringing me here.

Beautiful winter day for a bike ride. Loved spotting geckos on the rock. Nice hiding spot for cache and geckos
Found out for a bike ride with the lady. Stopped briefly to make this find. Nicely tucked away, all good. Tftc!
Great day for a bike ride along the Pencarrow coast today with Papa Hoof who had the day off! Had been to Pencarrow a couple of times before but our last visit was more than 15 years ago so it was nice to revisit. While I was looking for the cache I must have frightened a rabbit as apparently it came hurtling out of the bushes and scrambled over my bike and away down the road! A quick find of the cache and the logsheet is all nice and dry in the inner container. And the rock weathering was interesting too. TFTC
A lovely sunny day for a geocaching mountain bike jaunt around these tracks today. Slightly windy! Luckily we had the place to ourselves and made a quick find. Cache is all good. TFTC
Blustery here today, you can see why the rocks are weathered! Once we were on the right side, a quick find. TFTC
Luck was definitely on my side today, after I drove over from Wairarapa to find a stunning day around here with no wind and after hopping off the bike at this GZ the cache was in the first place I looked. That never happens to me. I grabbed this one after visiting the nearby shipwreck and was on my way back to the decommissioned lighthouse on top of the hill. After signing this one, I sat for a while watching the passing fishing boats and freighters. A truly beautiful spot on a day like this, but I wouldn't want to be here during a southerly storm. Log in great shape. TFTC.
It was great having this place to myself today. I only saw a single cyclist on the whole walk. Being on fine form today, I quickly found the cache in a good hiding spot that provides more than adequate protection. Thank you for providing the excuse to visit this location.
Found while on a bike ride with DaVinciHunter. Stunning day for a ride. TFTC. Not many people at this end of the ride.
Set out for a cycle ride from Eastbourne to Baring Head with the aim of finding the caches on the sea-side part of the route. This one took us a bit of time to find but after some scrambling around we found it, nice one!
20 October 2019 13:08. Working my way around the South Coast,. Never been out this far, and enjoy the scenery. Cache was a quick find. Tftc
Found on a cycle ride to Baring Head on a beautiful Lower Hutt day, full sun, a light northerly out and a light southerly back. TFTC.
I went straight into this one with the hint not realizing who the CO was and that the coords alone were likely sufficient. That made short work of the search which was perhaps for the best with all the traffic along here today. Although I saw no-one the entire time I was here. Thanks for highlighting some interesting geology.
Out with MIRO on a dotterel nest monitoring trip. Came by e-bike so extended trip to grab a few caches.
Cache in excellent condition.
Came past here about noon and a guy was sitting up on the rock watching others swim nearby. Its a nice sunny calm day. Stopped on way back from Valley View.

A nice excuse for a stop, having biked from Ocean Beach with all our camping gear. The NW today was atrocious and almost finished us off. Luckily we left a car in Eastbourne so didn't have to go much further once we got to the bus depot.
One of ten caches located on our Labour Day bike ride to the Pencarrow lighthouse and beyond. Popular day for cyclists and walkers, with sunny conditions and not much wind. Took a moment to find this one. #1970. TFTC.
Seeing that there was a favourable weather forecast it was time to have a bike ride out to Pencarrow Head and a tad further depending on how the body was standing up.
Greywacke does weather qite badly.
Cheers for the cache.

Cheers for the cache.
I came out this way twice at the beginning of the year, cleaned up all the caches - and now there are five new ones for me to get! We had a stiff tail wind out to this point, is going to be a tougher ride home. Nice quick find, cache in good condition - thought I had a new logbook, misty have signed the back. TFTC.
Joint FTF with huhugrub. A perfect morning for a bike ride - calm and cool. This was the second of two, a quick find for me this time as I walked alongside the rock looking for signs of a hide. Certainly an interesting pattern of weathering on these rocks! Signed log, TFTC.
#10,063. Joint {FTF} with agcnz at 09:37. A good bike ride in Pencarrow Head today. Met a number of walkers and cyclists en route, but GZ itself was all quiet when we visited. Quick find made by agcnz. The cache was in excellent condition … all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
