Hi 2y'stassies. Today we found your cache on the Devo trip for the year. VK7HCH and I hatched yet another plan to whip it up to the north to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA. As there are so many caches in this area we had freedom of choice to do those we wished to. We have solved a few puzzles so we can find those and lots of others. Although I didnt find the girl U want, the caches were enough. Its a beautiful world here in Tassie. Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find today. Finding this cache takes my GC finds to 5216 and I found it on Friday 25 Oct 2024FTF: NoMates: VK7HCHMuggles: Condition: GoodWeather: slightly cloudyMy favorites:Creative - Back to the future 1 by peaches (GCA5JYD)Hardest - Men in Black Holes by SG-3 (Archived)Most visited - Dragons Lair by Shagzter (GC2E33)Tractable also visited your cache
Thanks 2y'stassies for placing MTM - Contrasting Views. Swampy and I headed back to plunder more of the Northern coast over the Hobart Show long weekend. 4 day long weekend for 1 days annual leave. Sweet. This is day 2. Devonport and surrounds. At least my log is not full of bad 80s references. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time. This is my GC find #2134 and was found on 25/10/2024 at 10:25FTF: Found with: SwampyWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
We are on the Spirit tonight, and targeted this area for some caches to earn the Leap year souvenir prior to boarding. Thanks for the cache 2y'stassies, a nice easy find.
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Out on the bike today grabbing a few on this series, while hubby had an appointment. Nice to pick up another in this series. A quick find at GZ and a lovely area. Thanks 2y'stassies for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
This morning after a leisurely start from our base in East Devonport we headed for a walk by the river on the bike track. Most enjoyable with all caches we looked for found which is always a great result. The recycle can project cant come a day too soon for Tassie, lots of cans littering the way. Interesting to see how fast the tides turn on this river. The tide was racing in whilst we were here quite the contrast. TFTC
Tidal river is a new thing for me. Tasmania would have to be the first place I have come across this. Its amazing how much these rivers change in a 12/24 hour period. An enjoyable walk, if not a little windy, alongside the Mersey.TFTC 2ystassiesKeep smiling
Walked the trail between areas our car could pull off.Caching with The X-Trailers finishing the trail we started walking last night. TFTC
Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip.
Day Three: Devonport Ferry to Latrobe (via Penguin and Sheffield).
Weather: sensational.
I’ve been doing the Angus Westie power trail along the river, and was hoping to complete the series, but I didn’t get much sleep on the ferry last night and I’m running out of steam, so will make this one my turning point. MTM is another trail that I would like to do if I can just somehow wrangle a longer stay in Tasmania.
An easy find here, all is well with the cache.
Thanks for this cache 2y’stassies.

RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I were making our way to Port Sorell for a few days r&r. We have driven along this road a few times over the past couple of years, and have seen this track under construction and once finished have thought what a great piece of infrastructure. Today we actually walked along it and searched for your caches along the way. We passed a lot of people using the track - walkers, familes on bikes, other dogs walking their owners, and a even a couple of people on an e-scooter - this included RLD4963, who was giving his knees a rest.
Another quick find at GZ.

Back on Tuesday 25 May 2021, i DNF'd this hide.
Today, Thursday 18 November 2021 on the last day of my 3-Day Northern Caching trip, i made an immediate find of it in the obvious spot. That spot was inspected last time [:o] Voodoo cache maybe? More than likely i missed it by only millimeters
It was a frown turned upside down and that's the main thing
The cache and contents are in perfect nic

Nice easy find on a nice day whilst getting a few more smileys on the board. Tftc
My son and I found this one easily, a few days after feathertop. This path is a great installation and a great way to link Devonport and Latrobe.
Up in Devonport for a few meetings and peppered with as much geocaching as practical.
We enjoyed the first half of this Westie Series late last year, although then there was still a lot of construction work going on. It’s nice to come back and experience the trail fully completed. Such a glorious walk and a great series.
Waited for muggle walkers to pass before collecting this one. TFTC

A lit of creeper and not quite where I expected it but still where the clue indicates.
Thanks for a great view.
Thanks for a great view.
No luck with this one for me today at 15:04 on Tuesday 25 May 2021.
Checked the obvious spot which did hide a number of spiderwebs and creeper bush but no booty.
It's probably not even in there ha ha. Sneaky hide maybe?
Next time i'm up here i will have another go
TFT challenge anyways

After camping the night a few hundred metres back down the road the night before, i was up and packed a while before my muggle mates, so decided to mosey down the meandering mersey for a moment.
The cache was quickly uncovered, signed and replaced before happily explaining just what crazy antics i was upto to a friendly jogging muggle passing by.
Thanks for the cache, and a happy new year to youuuu!

Up from Hobart Mrs W travelled to the Community Event at Latrobe with Tassie Trekkers in pouring rain. As we had a day of caching planned we packed a change of clothes and the rain coats. Arriving in Latrobe around 8.30 am we cached until 7.30 pm and had an enjoyable break at the event for two hours. Our list of caches changed as the weather improved or worsened so we will have missed a few. Gives us a reason to return. TFTC
Today we headed to Latrobe with whitewebbs to attend the community event and took the opportunity to find some caches in the area and this was one of them.
Although it rained most of the day we were still able to enjoy day and we visited some areas not been to before.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I was in the area looking for the newly published Westies Series. I intended to look for this cache a couple of weeks ago but found that I had inadvertently driven past G.Z. so today I corrected that irregularity and made the find. A perfect day for getting out and a bout and great views of the river and surrounds.
