### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there Cache Owner,

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **possibly** needs some attention. You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.

#What you need to do:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache**

- **Place A Write Note Log**

- **Adopt Out or Archive**

Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. [xx(]

It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Thanks for your cooperation,

Whittlesea Mega Trip Day 5. Now that Mega weekend is over I decided to stay on for a bit to try a bit more caching in the region. First was the Markets event. I then headed into Mernda to do the Labs and some of the caches there, but it was frustrated by some very heavy rain storms. I went back to the show grounds for a break before deciding to have another go at some caching, this time at the base of Mt Disappointment.

This spot beat me, there were so many nook for a cache to be on. Then it started to rain again.

Thanks.

Alas, two DNFs on the trail and Team LAKAKAGA were determined not to have three in a row. Eventually, we found it, but dude, it took quite a while and much determination. TFTC melbmatt50

On a weekend trip with with a lovely bunch of women for the Whittlesea event. What would normally be a Kate and Kelly's Amazing Geocaching Adventure (KAKAGA) weekend was this year extended into a LAKAKAGA with the wonderful addition of Laura and Amanda and we had a great time walking and talking and collecting caches at our leisure.

The weather was closing in on us here but we were determined, after 2 DNFs, to hunt this one down. A good search in the rain and wind later, a hunt through past logs and few heads stuck in hole and we finally spotted this one. Very happy hunters! TFTC melbmatt50

A nice find in the suburbs today, cache found and is all good

This weekend was mega weekend and we headed over with Freddo, team Waldron, e.gregory1 and Davidwazza as part of our team called: ‘Aussies on Tour’, the log books were either signed with the name, AOT or our individual caching names.
A great weekend away and a very well organised mega despite the horrible weather thrown at us we still managed to find quite a few caches

Thanks for the cache

We met another cacher here. Eventually the cache appearred from the other dimension where it had been hiding.

November 2022. Time for the second Victorian Mega of the year. This time in Whittlesea. What is it with W's? Time for another epic road trip. Who will join our merry crew? We traveled from South Australia and camped in the pig pen. It rained. It blew. It was sunny. It was not sunny. All four seasons. Beautiful location and some awesome caches.

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Thanks melbmatt50 for the cache.

Today I had to drop off the car for its 90k service so I nabbed another cache in this area. The rocky theme of the previous finds continued and after searching lots of nooks the cache was found a little less hidden than expected.

Thanks OCDCacher for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Too good for me today. I was running out of time. My gps led me to some rocks so I turned over many but could not find. Then I saw the big tree but couldn’t locate anything there. I’ll have to return again and try my luck.

08-Mar-22
Realized I also hadn't logged this find. I would recommend the CO put a Geocaching sticker or some identifiable Mark on this container as we would have passed it over as rubbish given what else was in this vicinity. But a quick find, replaced and ready for the next intrepid explorer to find

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there OCDCacher,

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.

You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**

#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.

- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**

- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil

After checking ground zero and confirming that the cache has been removed or lost by either a muggle or another geocacher (caches are for finding, not taking), the cache has been replaced with another container that is different but still micro sized.

The cache container has been replaced with another one and a new log paper included with it. There is no pen so you need to bring your own.

The cache was replaced with a new container and log paper today. Please note that there is no longer a pencil so you will need to bring your own. Also, although it may be well intentioned please don't add to the camouflage of the site too much as it draws attention to the location of the cache.

Out with the geokids on this cold rainy day. Cold and rainy days are great for caching in suburban areas because the muggles stay at home. There were only a few cyclists and a handful of walkers. This was a quick find by the geokids who like to climb. TFTC melbmatt50.

Catching up on some very late logs before the Mega. Found this with Happy Pants, Snap Happy, The Empire and Omegaman1971 back in 2020. It was great to spend the day caching with friends after the isolation of Covid. We had plenty of fun and laughter, as we found many good hides during the day.
Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache, for us to find.

Out with xambo4u, it was a cold wet day with a little hail thrown in, but that didn’t stop us caching. A very successful day in Morang despite the weather.
We searched here for quite a while, finally having success.

As we were leaving, we found a second cache about four metres away by a solitary rock and covered in camo. This looked like the proper cache. We signed both logs and placed them back together. Thanks melbmatt50

10-Aug-19
Out and about with echidna44 on this very bitter cold run to the North. It even gently hailed or was it snow. I have not been to this high up before and very impressed with the area. This one has us going for quite some time as the options were plenty. Came from another direction and bingo. Signed off and on leaving noticed another similar hide out in the open. This would have been the original one looking at the log book. They rest together now. This should had been a quick find but we made it hard. Thanks for the cache melbmatt50
